3. Field of operation and all the benefits of your new

instrument at a glance

• Ideal for the fast and precise measurement of temper- ature and humidity (for household, craftsmen, indus- try and hobby, for example: for the climate control of living and store rooms, green houses, etc.)

• MAX/MIN/HOLD function

• This product is exclusively intended for the field of application described above. It should only be used as described within these instructions.

• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, calibrations or changes to the product are prohibited. KLIMA BEE - Thermo-Hygrometer

• Close the battery compartment again.

• All LCD segments will be displayed for about a few se- conds.

• On the display appear the battery symbol, the actual temperature (default: °C) and humidity.

• The unit is ready for use.

• The instrument will turn off automatically after 15 minutes, if no button is pressed.

• Press and hold the ON/OFF button for at least 3 sec- onds to turn off the instrument immediately.

6.2 Measuring of the temperature and humidity and

• All LCD segments will be displayed for about a few se- conds.

• HOLD appears on the display.

• The actual temperature and humidity stay on the dis- play.

• Press and hold the MAX/MIN button for at least 3 se- conds to enter the maximum and minimum mode.

• MAX appears on the display.

• The maximum temperature and the humidity since the last activation of the device are displayed.

• Press the button again.

• MIN appears on the display.

Caution! Risk of injury:

• Keep this instrument and the battery out of the reach of children.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuit- ed, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!

• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.

• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries. Important information on product safety!

• To avoid damages of the sensor on the board, do not remove the black protective cover.

• Do not place your product near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.

• Protect it from moisture, sand, dirt and dust.

• Open the battery compartment and insert the new bat- tery 9 V. Ensure that the battery polarity is correct.

• Press and hold the MAX/MIN button for at least 3 se- conds to leave the maximum and minimum mode.

6.4 Changing of the temperature unit

• The default setting is °C.

• To change the temperature unit, turn off the device by pressing and holding the ON / OFF button first.

• Press and hold the MAX/MIN button.

• Press and hold the ON/OFF button at the same time.

• The device switches on and the temperature unit appears in °F.

• To change the temperature unit again, turn off the device first.

• Press the ON/OFF button to activate or deactivate the backlight.

• If the ON/OFF button is not pressed, the backlight switches off automatically after approximately 30 sec- onds.

7. Care and maintenance

• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

• Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time.

• Keep the device in a dry place.

7.1 Battery replacement

• Change the battery when the battery symbol appears on the display.

• Confirm the device is powered off before changing battery.
