How to install the battery in the TFA 95.2019.54 thermo-hygrometer?

Open the battery compartment on the back of the device. Insert a 1.5 V AAA battery, observing the indicated polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The device turns on automatically.

• Unauthorized repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.

Caution! Risk of injury:

• Keep this device and the battery out of the reach of children.
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.

3. Getting started

• Remove the protective foil from the display.
• Remove the magnetic holder.
• Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery 1,5 V AAA, ensure that the batteries' polarities are correct. Close the battery compartment again.
• All segments will be displayed for a short moment.
  • The device is ready for use.
• The upper display will show the indoor temperature.
• The lower display will show the indoor humidity.
• Remove the battery to shut down the device.

4. Positioning and fixing

• Fix the magnetic holder with the enclosed adhesive at your desired location. Please clean the surface before.
• The device can also be positioned on a flat surface by securing the holder to the bottom.
