How to lubricate the blades of the GBS Absolute Zero clipper?

Before first use and every two months, turn the clipper upside down (Fig.1) to prevent oil from dripping onto the device. Apply a few drops of oil to the blade, run it for a few seconds to distribute the oil, then wipe off excess with a dry cloth.

What cutting lengths are available?

With the included guide combs, you get cuts of 1.5 mm and 4.5 mm. Without comb, the clipper provides zero cutting.

Can I use the clipper in the bathroom?

No, do not use near water (bathtub, shower, sink). The clipper is mains-powered and poses an electric shock risk in humid environments.

How to clean the clipper?

Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the comb if present. Use the provided brush to remove hair between the blades and behind the head. Never clean under running water.

What to do if the clipper no longer cuts effectively?

First check blade lubrication (see lubrication question). If the problem persists despite proper maintenance, contact the manufacturer for a replacement of the entire blade head.

Can I change the blades myself?

It is not recommended to disassemble the blade head, as this voids the warranty. For replacement, contact the manufacturer or an authorized repair center.

Is the GBS Absolute Zero clipper cordless?

No, it is a corded clipper that plugs into a mains outlet. It does not work on battery.

Can I use the clipper on wet hair?

No, hair must be clean and dry before use. Moisture can reduce cutting efficiency and pose an electrical risk.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

Before using the hair clipper the hair must be clean and dry. We recommend cutting small quantities of hair at a time, adjusting the cutting length gradually until finding the one you want. The blades risk getting stuck if too fast movements are made or if a lot of hair is cut at the same time. It can be used without attachment comb to trim beard, neck hair and sideburns.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE:

Lubricate the blade before the first use. Read the instructions contained in the section "HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE".

USE INSTRUCTIONS:

- Insert the desired attachment. This operation should always be done with the hair clipper turned off.

- Plug the appliance into the power outlet.

- Turn on the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.

- Turn off the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.

CUTTING LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:

The ABSOLUTE ZERO hair clipper offers the possibility of making shaved cuts if used without any guide comb attached, and performing precise buzz cuts if used with the two attachment combs having the following lengths: 1.5 and 4.5 mm.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

A clean and properly lubricated hair clipper considerably improves its capacity and cutting precision.

DO NOT CLEAN ANY PART OF THE APPLIANCE UNDER RUNNING WATER.

Before any cleaning operation, make sure that the appliance is properly turned off and disconnected from the power outlet. Remove the accessory if it is inserted. Using the special brush supplied, remove any hair residues between the blades and the back of the blade head.

NEVER DISASSEMBLE THE HEAD INTO ITS INTEGRAL PARTS OR YOU WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY ON THE ENTIRE PRODUCT.

HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE:

Before the first use we recommend lubricating the blade with a drop of the oil found in the package or with any other lubricating oil (make sure that it is not too viscous). Turn the hair clipper upside down (Fig. 1) so that oil does not drip on the appliance. Lubricate the blade with a few drops of oil. Turn the appliance on for a few seconds so that the oil is distributed evenly along the entire blade. Then, using a dry cloth, eliminate any excess oil residues.

We recommend repeating this procedure every two months or more often, depending on product use.

BLADE DURATION:

The duration of the blade varies based on usage frequency and times. Although correct maintenance is performed, if the cutting efficiency is compromised, contact the manufacturer to have the entire head replaced.
