Frequently Asked Questions - Clear UVC11 EHEIM

How to install the UVC clarifier?
Place the device on a stable support at least 2 m from the edge of the pond. Mount the hose connections (pump inlet, filter outlet). Make sure water is circulating before connecting the device. First connect the pump, then the clarifier.
What is the safety distance from water?
According to VDE standard, the minimum distance is 2 meters between the device and the pond edge to avoid electrical risk.
How to replace the UVC lamp?
Unplug the device. Unscrew the lamp holder (press the release, turn counterclockwise). Remove the safety screw and the locking screw, then carefully remove the glass bulb. Replace the lamp with a new one (ref. 4102010). Reassemble in reverse order.
What if the UVC lamp does not light up?
First check the mains voltage and the power cable. Make sure the plug is properly inserted. If everything is correct, the lamp may be defective and needs to be replaced.
How often to clean the glass bulb?
Clean the glass bulb as soon as you notice a decrease in device efficiency. Use a glass cleaning product and a soft cloth. Avoid hard objects or aggressive products.
Can I use the device without a pump?
