• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and functions• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or damaged,havesuchpartsreplacedbeforeattemptingtousethistool Before Use IMPORTANT: The sealed lithium battery in this product will be drained from storage. The following steps must be taken to ensure it is charged correctly. This will maximise the performance and working life of the battery:• Press the ON/OFF Switch (7) and check to see when the torch is ON• NOW MAKE SURE the product is switched OFF. The torch will only charge in the OFF position• PlugtheMainsCharger(8)intothemainspowersupply,andplugthesmallendintothecharging socket• LeavetochargeforaMINIMUMof5hoursbeforerstuse Note:Ifthetorchfailstochargerepeattheabove,ensuringthattheSwitch(7)isintheOFFposition. Fitting the Carry Strap
