How to use the heating pad for the first time?

Remove all packaging and stickers. Fully unwind the cord. Connect the connector plug into the pad, then the mains plug into a socket. Press the on/off button. The default setting is 5 (heat) and 1 hour timer.

How to adjust the temperature?

Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature among 10 levels (1 = cold, 10 = hot). The value is displayed on the screen. For prolonged use (sleep), set to position 1.

How to set the timer?

Press the timer button, then use the '+' or '-' buttons to select a duration from 1 to 10 hours. The timer automatically confirms after a few seconds of inactivity. The device will turn off at the end of the set time.

Can I wash the heating pad?

Yes, the cover can be hand washed at 30°C maximum with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, radiator, or sunlight. Never plug in the device while damp.

What to do if the screen flashes?

This usually indicates that the connector plug is not properly inserted. Unplug the mains plug, reconnect the connector plug into the pad, then plug the mains plug back in. Always make sure to connect the connector plug first, then the mains plug.

The device turns off by itself after one hour, is this normal?

Yes, for safety, the pad automatically shuts off after 1 hour. You can extend this duration up to 10 hours with the timer. To restart, wait 10 minutes for cooling and press on/off.

Can I use this heating pad with a pacemaker?

Electromagnetic fields may interfere with some pacemakers. Consult your doctor and your pacemaker manufacturer before use.

How to store the heating pad?

Let it cool completely. Unplug the plugs. Fold it gently without creasing, store in its original packaging in a dry place. Do not place heavy objects on it.

The pad does not heat enough, what to do?

The device takes about 15 minutes to fully heat up. Check that the setting is high enough (position 6-10). Make sure the connector plug is properly inserted. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

What is the warranty of the DO637ED?

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

• If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
  In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
  In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.

ELECTRICALWARNINGS

In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer or a separate remote control, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance. To disconnect, turn controls to "OFF" or "0" position, then remove the plug from the wall. BEFORE THE FIRSTUSE

• Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before using the appliance for the first time. Make sure that children do not play with the packing materials.
• After unpacking, carefully check for external damage that may have occurred during transport.
• Never use the appliance when folded, bent, turned down, and/or tucked in.

• Do not place artificial heat sources, heavy and/or angular objects on the appliance.

• There may be a slight odour when the appliance is used for the first time. This is normal. It is recommended that the room be ventilated briefly after the first use.

USE

1. Slide the connection plug into the opening. Plug the power cord into a socket.
2. Press the power button to turn the device on. The device heats up. The standard setting is maintained: heat setting 5 and timer 1 hour.
3. Press the on/off button if you want to disconnect the appliance. Then unplug the appliance.

TEMPERATURE

You can adjust the temperature using the decrease (-) and increase (+) buttons. There are 10 settings, with 1 being the coldest and 10 the warmest. The selected heat setting is shown on the display.

In case of long-term use, e.g. if the user falls asleep, it is recommended to set the device to setting 1.

TIMER

After 1 hour, the device will switch off automatically. This is a set safety measure. You can adjust this time up to 10 hours using the timer button. Press the button and then adjust the desired time using the decrease (-) and increase (+) buttons. The time is visible on the display. You do not have to confirm this; the timer will be set if you do not press any button for a few seconds. After this selected time has elapsed, the device switches off automatically.

Attention:

• The device is equipped with overheating protection. This protection prevents the device from overheating across its entire surface by automatically switching off the power in the event of a malfunction. Please note that the device may not be used afterwards for safety reasons and must be returned to your retailer.
• Prolonged use on a high temperature setting may cause burns on a sensitive skin.
• Check if the temperature is pleasant with the top of your hand. This zone is more sensitive than the palm of the hand.
  If you use the appliance for several hours at the highest setting, the appliance could overheat.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it. Remove the connection plug. Always remove the plug from the electrical socket before cleaning.
2. The blanket can be washed by hand. Place the blanket in soapy water and mild liquid detergent. Gently wring out any excess water. Rinse with clean water to remove all the detergent.
3. Small stains can be cleaned with a cloth or damp sponge, if necessary with a liquid mild washing detergent.
4. Then let it air dry. Never dry in a tumble dryer, in the sun, or on a heater. Do not use clothes pegs. Instead, drape the device over a drying rack.

! Never switch the device on to dry it faster. Only use the heating pad when it is completely dry.

Washing it too frequently can lead to colour changes or wear. Only wash the heating pad when absolutely necessary.

STORING THE DEVICE

If you do not use the device for a longer period of time, we recommend that you store it in its original packaging in a dry environment and without placing anything heavy on top of it. Allow the device to cool down before storing it.

Store the appliance in a dry place. Make sure the appliance is rolled up properly. Do not fold the appliance.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

The appliance does not work. - Make sure the conne-cction plug has been connected correctly. - Check if the appliance works if you use another socket.
The appliance has been stopped working. - After 1 h, the appliance shuts off automatically. Let the appliance cool down for 10 min. and press again the on/off button. - You can set the timer up to a maximum of 10 hours to allow the device to work for longer.
The display will flash. - Did you first insert the plug into the socket and then insert the connector plug into the device? You must always insert the connector plug first, and then plug the other end into the electrical socket. - Did the connector plug accidentally come off while using the device? Remove the plug from the electrical socket first, then reattach the connector plug to the device, and then plug the cable back in.
The appliance does not heat enough. - After +/- 15 min. the appliance reaches the set temperature. Increase the temperature if necessary.
