APPARAAT WATERPAS ZETTEN
Please read these instrucons before operang the appliance and store them for future use. Please, do not use the dryer without reading the instrucons for use rst.
- Check for any damage to the packaging or the appliance that may have occurred during transportaon. Never use a damaged appliance, but contact your supplier.
- Failure to observe the instrucons for use or inappropriate use of the appliance may result in damage to the laundry or the appliance, or injury to the user. Keep the instrucon manual in a convenient locaon, near the appliance.
INSTALLATION LOCATION AND SURROUNDING AREA
- This appliance is for indoor use only.
- Keep the appliance clear from heat sources and direct sunlight to prevent plasc and rubber parts from corroding.
- The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the dryer, in such a way that a full opening of the dryer door is restricted.
- Place the appliance in a well-venlated room, as this appliance may generate heat and humidity during use.
- Do not install the appliance in a room where the temperature can drop below 5°C, as the parts of the appliance may become damaged when water freezes. Do not install the appliance in humid environments or rooms containing explosive or causc gas. In case of water leakage or water splashes, allow the appliance to dry in the open air. Never use ammable sprays or substances in the immediate proximity of the appliance.
- Place the appliance on a solid (concrete) base that is level and stable.
- Adjust the adjustable feet of the appliance to ensure the appliance is standing level and balanced.
- Before connecng the appliance to the power mains, wait at least 2 hours to allow it to reach room temperature.
- Dispose the packaging materials according to local regulaons. Keep the material out of reach of children. Danger of suocaon. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
- Connect the appliance to an earthed power socket protected by a fuse that complies with the values on the rang plate.
- Parcularly make sure that the appliance is not placed on the power cord. To avoid danger, a damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons. If the appliance is damaged, it must not be operated unl it is repaired by the manufacturer, service agent or similarly qualied persons.
- The appliance may not be connected to the power mains using an extension cord. Do not connect the appliance to the power mains using an external switch device such as a programme mer, or connect it to a power mains that is regularly switched on and o by the power supply provider.
- Do not connect the appliance to an electrical outlet intended for an electric shaver or hair dryer.
- The mains plug must be accessible aer installaon. Never use an extension cord or mulple plugs for making a connecon. Do not pull the plug out of the power socket if there is ammable gas around. Never pull out the plug with wet hands. Always unplug the appliance when it is not being used. EN - 23• Connecon to the power supply has to be executed by an adequately trained technician or expert.
- Any repair and maintenance pertaining to safety or performance should be done by trained experts.
- In case of a defect, only use approved spare parts by authorised manufacturers.
- In case of incorrect appliance connecon, incorrect use, or servicing by an unauthorised person, Tomado will not be responsible for any damage, as such damage will not be covered by warranty.
EXPLOSION AND FIRE HAZARD
- Please do not dry clothes with any ammable substances such as kerosene or alcohol. Otherwise, there may be an explosion.
- The appliance contains an environmentally friendly but ammable R290 refrigerant. Keep away from open ame and other sources of ignion.
- The tumble dryer is not to be used if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning.
- Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
- Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpenne, waxes and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
- Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof texles, rubber backed arcles and clothes or pillows ed with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the tumble dryer.
- Fabric soeners, or similar products, should be used as specied in the instrucons provided with the fabric soener.
- Oil-aected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when exposed to heat sources such as in a tumble dryer. The items become warm, causing an oxidaon reacon in the oil. Oxidaon creates heat. If the heat cannot escape, the items can become hot enough to catch re. Piling, stacking or storing oil-aected items can prevent heat from escaping and so create a re hazard.
- Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches. EN - 24• If it is unavoidable that fabrics containing vegetable or cooking oil or having been contaminated by hair care products are placed in a tumble dryer, these items should rst be washed in hot water with extra detergent. This will reduce, but not eliminate, the hazard.
- WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle, unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.
- Openings must not be obstructed.
- The dryer lter has to be cleaned frequently.
- Lint must not to be allowed to accumulate around the tumble dryer. CHILD SAFETY
- Before closing the appliance door and running the programme, make sure there is nothing except laundry in the drum (e.g. check if a child or animal climbed into the drum of the appliance).
- Do not let children aged 3 years and under come near the appliance, unless they are under constant supervision.
- This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been given instrucons concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards of inappropriate use. Children are not allowed to play with the appliance.
- The appliance may not be cleaned or maintained by children, unless this is done under supervision.
- Children should be supervised, to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
- Do not climb or sit on the appliance.
- The appliance is made in compliance with all relevant safety standards.
- Remove the door or deacvate the lock when disposing of the appliance. Children are known to have goen themselves locked in old appliances. To prevent such a situaon, break the door lock of your appliance and tear o the electrical cables.
EN - 25OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Only use the appliance for drying laundry as described in the instrucon manual. The machine is not intended for dry cleaning.
- Only use products specically designed for drying laundry. Tomado will not be responsible for any damages or discolouraon of gaskets and plasc parts resulng from incorrect use of bleaching or colouring agents.
- In case of a defect, only use approved spare parts by authorised manufacturers.
- Make sure that all pockets are emped. Sharp and rigid items such as coins, brooches, nails, screws, stones etc. may cause serious damages to this machine.
- Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches before using the appliance.
- Fabric soeners or similar products should be used as recommended in their instrucons.
- Please do not close the door with excessive force. If it is found dicult to close the door, please check if the clothes are properly inserted and distributed.
- In case of incorrect connecon of the appliance, incorrect use, or servicing by an unauthorised person, the user shall bear the cost of any damage, as such damage shall not be covered by warranty.
- When cleaning the appliance, only use non-corrosive cleaning agents.
- The warranty does not cover consumables, minor deviaons in colour, increased noise that results from appliance age and which does not aect the funconality of the appliance, and aesthec defects on components, which do not aect the funconality and safety of the appliance.
TRANSPORT/RELOCATION AFTER INSTALLATION
- Accumulated water must be drained out of the appliance.
- The appliance is heavy. Transport with care. Never hold any protruding part of the appliance when liing. The door of the appliance cannot be used as a handle.
- The appliance is intended solely for household use. If the appliance is used for professional, commercial purposes or purposes exceeding normal use in a household, or if the appliance is used by a person who is not a consumer, the warranty period shall be equal to the shortest warranty period required by relevant legislaon.
- This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applicaons such as: - sta kitchen areas in shops, oces or residenal type environments; - farm houses; - by clients in hotels, motels and other residenal type environments; - bed & breakfast type environments; - areas for communal use in blocks of ats or in launderees.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical or mental impairments, or persons lacking experience and knowledge. These persons should be instructed about the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

- Stability is important to prevent the product from moving across the installaon site! Make sure to level the appliance and install it on a stable base in longitudinal and traverse direcon by screwing the adjustable feet up or down.
- Make sure the appliance is not standing on the power cord.
- Make sure to observe the minimum required clearances from the walls as indicated in the gure.
- Do not place the appliance on a carpet with long bres, as this may impede air circulaon.
The room in which the appliance is placed must meet the following requirements:
1. Dry, level and stable solid base
2. Avoid direct sunlight
3. A clean locaon, where dirt does not accumulate. Air must be able to circulate freely around the
appliance. Do not obstruct the front air inlet or the air intake grills at the back of the machine.
4. Room temperature is between 10°C and 25°C
5. Place the appliance in a well-venlated room, as the use of this appliance may generate heat and
humidity. Keep far away from heat sources such as coal, gas or wood burning appliances
6. Do not stack this dryer on a washing machine without a stacking kit.
7. Never lt the dryer more than 30° if the dryer can’t be transported right side up.
UNPACKING THE APPLIANCE
- Move the appliance with at least two people and wear protecve clothing, such as sturdy gloves.
- Packaging material (e.g. lms, styrofoam) can be dangerous for children.
- There is a risk of suocaon! Keep all packaging away from children. INSTALLING THE EXTERNAL DRAINAGE HOSE (INCLUDED)
- Install the external drainage hose if you do not want to use the internal condensate tank. W ≥ 10 cm Pull up the upper drain hose Put the external drain hose into the oor drain (be careful not to bend the external drain hose) Connect the external drain hose to the water pumpEN - 30
LEVELLING THE APPLIANCE
- Incorrect levelling of the appliance with the adjustable feet may cause vibraon, appliance moving across the room, and loud operaon. Use a level and a spanner to level the appliance.
1. 1. Rotate the adjustable feet with a spanner.
- Before connecng the appliance to the power mains, wait for at least 2 hours unl room temperature has been reached.
- Connect the appliance to an earthed power outlet. Aer installaon, the wall socket must be freely accessible. The socket must be ed with an earth contact (in compliance with the relevant regulaons).
- Informaon about your appliance is indicated on the rang plate. WARNING!
- Using an over-voltage protecon to protect the appliance in case of a lightning strike, is recommended. WARNING!
- Do not connect the appliance to the power mains using an extension cord.
- Do not connect the appliance to an electrical outlet intended for an electric shaver or hair dryer.
- Any repair and maintenance pertaining to safety or performance must be done by trained experts.
- A damaged power cord may only be replaced by a person authorised by the manufacturer.EN - 31 OPERATION
CAUTION!• Before rst use, clean the inside of the drum with a so damp cloth.1. Put some clean rags into the drum.2. Insert the mains plug into the power socket and press the ON/OFF buon
3. Select the WARM programme and press the START/ PAUSE buon to start the appliance.
4. When the programme is nished, please follow the CLEANING and CARE instrucons to clean the dryer lter.
- During drying, the airow and the pump will generate some noise, which is enrely normal.
BEFORE EACH DRYING CYCLE
1. Before each drying cycle, sort your laundry by reading the care labels.2. Thoroughly spinning the laundry in the washing machine, shortens the drying me and saves energy.3. For uniform drying results, sort the laundry according to fabric type and select the appropriate drying programme.4. Before drying, please close buons and zips, hooks and eyelets, e any ribbons and turn the pockets inside out.5. Leave jackets open and undo any long zips so that texles dry evenly.6. Sew in or remove underwiring from bras.7. Close duvet covers and pillow cases to prevent small items from geng rolled up inside them.8. Drying laundry made of parcularly delicate fabrics that may be deformed is not recommended. The following types of laundry may not be dried in the appliance as this may cause your garments to deform:• leather garments and other leather products;• garments that are waxed or treated in any other way;• garments with major wooden, plasc or metal parts;• garments with spangles;• garments with metal parts subject to rusng.9. Do not over-dry the clothes, because over-dried clothes can easily get creases.
CAUTION!• Do not put more load than rated in the appliance.

PREPARING BEFORE DRYING

AFTER DRYING When the programme is nished and the appliance is ready, a buzzer will sound and [ 0:00 ] appears on the display. The dryer automacally starts the an-crease phase if the laundry is not removed from the drum. Open the door and take out the laundry Pour out the condensate water Pull out the condensate tank

Tijd Time Press the time button to adjust the drying time in 10 minute steps.
Anti-kreuk An-crease At the end of the drying cycle, the default an-crease me is 30 minutes. When the an-crease opon is acvated, the an-crease me at the end of the programme will be 120 minutes.
Extra droog Extra dry The extra dry opon allows you to adjust the dryness level of the laundry.
Start/pause buon Press the buon to start or pause the drying process. Opening the door also pauses the appliance. When closing the door, press the buon again to resume the drying process.
On/o Press the on/o buon to start the appliance or to turn it o.
Display The display shows the sengs, esmated me remaining, opons and status messages for your appliance. The display will remain on during the cycle. Child lock When this indicator lights up, the child lock is acvated. Start delay When this indicator lights up, the start delay funcon is acvated. An-crease When this indicator lights up, the an-crease funcon is added. Extra dry When this indicator lights up, the extra dry funcon is added. Clean lter Warning: when this indicator lights up, the dryer lter needs to be cleaned. FUL Full condensate tank
Warning: when this indicator lights up, the condensate tank is full and needs
to be emped. EN - 33Start delay Use this funcon to start the drying process aer a certain amount of me has elapsed. When the set delay me expires, the selected drying programme will start automacally. The me starts to countdown on the display and the indicator blinks. To set the START DELAY proceed as follows:
1. Load your laundry and make sure the door of the appliance is closed.
4. Press the START DELAY buon. Set the hours by repeatedly pressing or holding the START DELAY buon.
It can be set from 0 up to 24 hours.
5. Press the START/PAUSE buon to acvate the programme with delayed start.
- If you press the START/ PAUSE buon again, the delay funcon will be paused. Press the START/ PAUSE buon again to resume the START DELAY. Cancelling start delay To cancel the START DELAY funcon, press the ON/OFF buon. Tijd Time When one of the programmes Warm, Cold or Refresh is selected, press the time button to adjust the drying time in 10 minute steps. Anti-kreuk An-crease At the end of the drying cycle, the default an-crease me is 30 minutes. When the an-crease opon is acvated, the an-crease me at the end of the programme will be 120 minutes. Choose this opon before starng the drying process. The an-crease light will light up. This funcon prevents the laundry from creasing. During the an-crease phase, the laundry can be removed. The an-crease opon is not available for the programmes: Cool, Refresh and Wool. Extra droog Extra dry The extra dry opon allows you to adjust the dryness level of the laundry. It adds more me to the drying process. Choose this opon before starng the drying process. The extra dry opon is not available for the programmes: Coon iron, Warm, Refresh, Wool and Delicate. 3 sec. Kinderslot Child lock This funcon is a safety feature and prevents children from misusing the control panel. To acvate the child lock, proceed as follows:
- When the drying process is acve, press the ANTI-CREASE buon and hold for 3 seconds to acvate the child lock. The child lock indicator lights up in the display. Deacvang the child lock
- Press the ANTI-CREASE buon and hold for 3 seconds to deacvate the child lock. The child lock indicator disappears from the display.
CAUTION! When the CHILD LOCK is acvated, all buons are deacvated, except for the ON/OFF buon. 3 sec. Mijn Programma My cycle The My Cycle opon allows you to set your favourite programme with the extra opons as you desire. To set your favourite programme, proceed as follows:
1. Select your favourite programme with the programme selector knob and any extra opons you want to add.
2. Press and hold the TIME buon for 3 seconds unl the beep sounds. Your favourite programme has been saved.
3. Turn the programme selector knob to the MY CYCLE posion and press START to start the drying process.
- If you want to change the sengs of My Cycle, repeat steps 1 and 2. Startuitstel

Yes No Standard [Kastdroog] Use this programme for thin synthec texles, which will not be ironed, such as easy care shirts, baby clothes or socks. Wool [Wol] 1,0 kg This short programme is intended for soening or ung of clothes made of wool and silk, which have to be dried thoroughly according to manufacturer’s instrucons. Yes No Special [Speciaal] Jeans 4,0 kg Use this programme to dry jeans or leisure clothes that are spun at high speed in the washing machine. Yes No Bedlinen [Beddengoed] 4,0 kg Use this programme to dry bed linen, bed sheets or other large items. Sports 3,0 kg Use this programme to dry sportswear and thin fabrics from polyester, which are not ironed. Shirts [Overhemden] 1,0 kg Use this programme for easy care laundry, such as shirts and blouses equipped with an-crease funconality to minimise the ironing eort. Place clothes loosely in the dryer. Use this programme to dry individual items or complete the drying process of mul-layer fabrics with dierent drying behaviour, such as jackets, pillows or voluminous items. Min 10 minutes to max. 120 minutes (in 10 min. steps). Yes YesCool [Koud]
Use this programme to air items without heang. Min. 10 minutes to max. 30 minutes(in 10 min. steps). Refresh [Opfrissen] 1,0 kg Use this programme to refresh clothes that were kept in a closed environment for a long me or to remove odours. Min. 20 minutes to max. 150 minutes (in 10 min. steps).
- Thick or mul-layered fabrics, e.g. bedlinen, jeans, jackets etc., are not easy to dry. It would be beer to choose the Coon Extra programme or add the Extra dry opon.
- As uneven material, thick and mul-layered clothes are not easy to dry, it is beer to choose the appropriate me drying programme to dry them if some parts of the clothes are sll damp aer the programme has nished. EN - 35EN - 36 MAINTENANCE WARNING! Always unplug the appliance before cleaning and maintenance.
CLEANING THE EXTERIOR OF THE APPLIANCE
Proper maintenance on the appliance can extend its useful life. Clean the exterior of the appliance and control panel using a so damp cloth and water. If necessary, a diluted non-abrasive neutral cleaning agent can be used to clean the appliance.
EMPTYING THE CONDENSATE TANK
1. Pull out and hold the condensate tank with two hands.
- Empty the condensate tank aer each use. Should the condensate tank ll up completely, the programme will be paused and the symbol “ “ will light up. Once the tank is emped, the dryer can be restarted by pressing the START/PAUSE buon.
- Do not drink the condensate water.
2. Take out the lter.
3. Open the lter and remove the u on the lter. You can clean it in water.
4. Dry the lter thoroughly before installing it again, or let it air dry for a few hours
before installing it again.
- The lint accumulated on the dryer lter will block the air circulaon, which will result in a longer drying me and an increased energy consumpon. Therefore, the dryer lter must be cleaned aer each use.
- Take noce of the correct orientaon before inserng the dryer lter.
- Do not operate the dryer without the dryer lter!
- Clean the dryer lter aer each use to prevent lint accumulaon inside the dryer.CLEANING THE CONDENSER UNIT Please clean the condenser unit approximately once every 3 months if frequently used. Do not damage the condenser unit!
1. Leave the dryer to cool down.
2. Residual water may leak out, place an absorbent cloth under the maintenance cover.
3. Unlock the maintenance cover.
4. Completely open the maintenance cover.
5. Remove lint and u from the condenser unit using a vacuum cleaner with a dusng brush
aached. Do not apply any pressure. Otherwise the condenser unit could be damaged. The dryer will not dry if the cooling ns are damaged or bent.
7. Close the maintenance cover unl it locks into posion.
WARNING! Do not use hard/sharp-edged objects! Do not operate the dryer without the condenser unit!. TROUBLESHOOTING Many malfuncons and faults that might occur in daily operaon can be easily remedied. Time and money will be saved because a service call will not be needed. The following guide may help you to nd the reason for a malfuncon and correct it. Display Reason Soluons Heang problem Please contact the customer service if the problem persists. Humidity sensor error Temperature sensor error
- Only authorised technicians can carry out repairs.
- If the LED displays a dierent error code and the dryer does not work, please call the customer service.
- Before you call the customer service, please check if you can resolve the problems yourself, consulng the user instrucons. EN - 37Problem Soluon Display is not on • Check if the power supply works.
- Check if the mains plug is inserted.
- If the light sll remains on, please call the service centre.
- Clean the dryer lter. Dryer does not start • Connect the tumble dryer to the mains.
- Turn on the tumble dryer.
- Check if the door is closed.
- Check if the programme is set.
- Press the START/PAUSE buon. Degree of dryness was not reached or drying me too long
- Check the drain hose.
- Check if installaon place is appropriate.
- Keep the air inlet clean.
- Use higher drying intensity level programme or
- me programme. There are humming noises • The compressor is operang. These noises are quite normal and do not indicate a fault. The dryer switches o at the end of the programme
- The dryer switches o automacally in order to save energy. This is not an error but a normal funcon. WARNING! If you cannot resolve the problems yourself and need help:
- Press the ON/OFF buon.

- The rated capacity is the maximum capacity, make sure that the dry clothes loaded into the appliance do not exceed the rated capacity.
- Do not install the tumble dryer in a room with a risk of frost. At temperatures around freezing point, the tumble dryer may not be able to operate properly.
- There is a risk of damage if the condensate water is allowed to freeze in the pump, hoses and / or condensate tank.
