- Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance during and / or immediately after operation. Danger of serious burns! Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

  • Do not use the appliance in areas where petrol, paint, explosive and/or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated surfaces and open flames.
  • Do not place the appliance directly underneath a power socket.
  • Do not move the appliance during operation.
  • Position the unit at least 1m away from highly combustible materials such as furniture, trees, leaves, dry grass and bushes.
  • Make sure the appliance is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any objects that may be drawn (including hair and clothes) into the appliance.

- Never place or operate the unit where it could be subject to:

Before first use

  • Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and that all accessories are included.
    • Fully unwind the power cord.

  1. Place the heater on an even, dry and stable surface and plug it into a proper power socket.

The heater is provided with an anti-tilt-switch which will switch off the heater if it is overturned, and will be switched on again automatically when it is restored to its upright position.

Thermal safety cut-out

The appliance has a thermal safety device. In case of thermostat failure (overheating), the electrical circuit has an automatic cut-out, thus preventing overheating. If this should happen, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
