Safety information regarding handling batteries
Warning! Risk of suffocation through batteries.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Seek medical attention immediately if one is swallowed.
Caution! There are different risks involved when dealing with batteries.
- Never attempt to recharge standard batteries, never short circuit batteries and/or open batteries. Doing so leads to a potential risk of overheating, fire or explosion.
- Improper handling of batteries/rechargeable batteries can endanger your health and the environment. Batteries/rechargeable batteries may contain toxic and environmentally harmful heavy metals (Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead). Therefore, hand in used batteries at a municipal collection point. Therefore, separate disposal and recycling of spent batteries is essential for the environment and health.
- Ensure the connection terminals are not short-circuited.
- Never throw batteries into a fire or water.

Never expose batteries to any mechanical loads.

Leaking batteries could cause damage to the device. If a battery should start to leak, remove it from the device immediately to prevent any further damage. Take the utmost care when handling damaged or leaking batteries and always wear protective gloves.
- Avoid any contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Rinse any parts of the body which have come into contact with battery acid with plenty of clean water and contact a doctor immediately. Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which could affect the batteries, e.g. by placing them on radiators or exposing them to direct sunlight.
- Only use batteries of the type specified.
- Never use batteries of different types or new and old batteries together.
- Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
• If the device will not be used for a longer period, switch the device off and remove the batteries. - Remove empty batteries from the device and dispose of them according to the applicable directives.
• The batteries must be removed from the device before its disposal. - You are legally obliged to dispose of batteries at your dealer or at the collection points provided by the responsible waste disposal authority.

Setup
Open the safe for the first time / Open the safe with the emergency key:
Variant 1:
- Opening by external power supply
- Insert the batteries into the external battery box.
- Connect the external battery box to the safe interface (see "Schematic diagram of the control panel").
- Open safe with user code/fingerprint (only for 5300FP series)
Variant 2:
- Opening with emergency key
- Remove the cover of the emergency key.
- Insert the emergency key and turn the key clockwise.
- Turn the handle anticlockwise to open the door.

Inserting the batteries
- Open the door and remove the battery cover.
- Insert 4 x AAL LR6 batteries into the battery compartment.
- Each time the batteries are inserted, the safe performs a self-test in which the display counts down from "9" to "0" and then shows "GOOD" at the end of the self-test, which means that the batteries are inserted correctly and the safe is working properly.
Low battery level
If the display shows "LO-BATTE", this means that the batteries have a low voltage and you should insert new batteries immediately.
Replace the batteries by arranging them as indicated by the "+" and "-" signs.
Removing the batteries
Follow the steps below to remove the batteries.
Remove the battery compartment cover.
Caution! Danger of short circuit.
- Remove batteries only with a non-conductive object, e.g. a wooden or plastic spatula.
Remove the batteries.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Closing the door
When you close the door, the handle is automatically turned to the horizontal position. The safe is closed and locked.
ATTENTION: for GOsafe 5300 & 5300FP, GOsafe 5350 & 5350FP, GOsafe 5500 & 5500FP the handle must be turned clockwise (upwards) manually to close the door.
Open door with user code or master code
- Press the "LOCK" button to activate the safe.
- Enter the registered user code (3 to 8 digits).
- OPEN" appears on the display.
- Turn the handle counterclockwise (downwards) to open the door.
ATTENTION: The preset user code is "159".
Opening the door with fingerprint (only for 5300FP series)
- Press the fingerprint sensor on the control panel with the registered finger.
- OPEN" appears on the display.
- Turn the handle counterclockwise (downwards) to open the door.
ATTENTION: In factory setting mode, the door cannot be opened with a fingerprint!
Setting the user code
- Open the door and press the reset button once.
- You will hear a short beep.
• You will see the display and the fingerprint scanner (only for 5300FP series) flash. - Then enter a new user code (3 to 8 digits).
- Press "LOCK" to confirm.
ATTENTION: Please leave the door open until the test of the new code has been successfully completed!
Opening the door with a hidden user code
- Press "Lock" once to activate the safe.
- Then press "Clear" once before entering the code.
- As you enter the code, it disappears from the LCD display.
Setting the fingerprint (only for 5300FP series)
- Open the door and press the reset button once.
- You will hear a short beep.
• You will see the display and the fingerprint scanner flashing. - Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner and remove it.
- You will hear 1 beep.
- Repeat the fingerprint scanning process two more times.
• Finally, you will hear 2 beeps and see the fingerprint scanner flash twice.
• The new fingerprint has been successfully registered!
ATTENTION: A maximum of 100 fingerprints are supported!
Please use the same finger when registering fingerprints!
To improve the rate of correct finger identification, you can follow the advice below:
We recommend that each user register 2-3 fingerprints.
We recommend women and children to register with thumb and middle finger.
Try to press with even force.
In very dry weather, we recommend breathing on the fingers until they are a little wet.

Alarm - Wrong code
If 5 consecutive incorrect code entries or 5 consecutive incorrect fingerprint (only for 5300FP series) entries are made, a warning tone sounds for 30 seconds. In the meantime, both the keypad and the fingerprint scanner (only for 5300FP series) are locked for 210 seconds.
Alarm - Shake alarm
- Press "0" while the unit is in sleep mode.
- Then the vibration alarm system is activated.
- You can stop the alarm by entering a password or fingerprint (only for 5300FP series).
Restoring the factory settings
- Open the safe.
- Press the reset button for 3-4 seconds.
- You will hear two beeps.
- The safe is reset to the factory settings.
In the factory settings, the user code is "1234" and the master code is "123456" and each fingerprint (only for 5300FP series) allows the safe to be opened.
ATTENTION: In the factory settings. The user code is "159" and no fingerprint (only for 5300FP series) allows the safe to be opened!
Turning the sound off/on
The key tone can be switched off and on by pressing the "CLEAR" key while the safe is in sleep mode (the display is off). The display shows "SOUND ON" or "SOUND OF".

Kod pet uzastopnih pogrešnih unosa koda ili pet uzastopnih pogrešnih otisaka prsta (samo kod 5300FP serije) oglasava se ton upozorenja na 30 sekundi. U međuvremenu se i taster i skener otisaka prsta (samo kod 5300FP serije) blokira na 210 sekundi.
