Do not replace the connection yourself. If the device or the connection are dam- aged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a similarly qualied person (e. g. special- ist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards. ■ It is essential to follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and Stor- age” chapter. Do not place any combustible materials (e. g. cardboard, paper or plastic) on or in the device. ■ Do not cover the device during operation. ■ Do not place any objects into the ventilation slots of the device and make sure that no objects block the ventilation slots.EN 16 NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property ■ The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket. The plug sock- et must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating plate of the device. ■ The device should only be used if it has been correctly assembled! ■ Do not operate the device without food. This might result in the device overheating or damage to the motor. ■ Unwind the connecting cable fully before connecting up the device. ■ Remove the mains plug if a fault occurs during operation. Have it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again. ■ Always place the device on a dry, even, rm and heat-resistant surface. Never place the device on a soft surface. The ventilation slots on the bottom of the device must not be covered. Otherwise it could overheat and be damaged. ■ Do not place the device on or next to heat sources such as hobs or ovens. Keep naked ames, e.g. burning candles, away from the device and the connection. ■ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, persistent moisture, direct sunlight or impacts. ■ Never place objects on the device or the connection. ■ Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible damage. Attaching / Detaching Accessories PLEASE NOTE! ■ Clean the accessories before you rst use them as they may have possible produc- tion residues on them. To do this, follow the instructions in “Cleaning and Storage”. ■ The device must be switched o󰀨 when the tilting mixer head is being ipped up or down. ■ Switch o󰀨 the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket before changing any attachments.

1. Hold the mixer head (12) rmly with one hand and at the same time use your other

hand to move the release lever (1) in the direction of the arrow into the vertical position. The mixer head is released and ips up automatically. You should also guide it with your hand to prevent it ipping up abruptly.

2. Insert the mixing bowl (10) into the corresponding mount (9) and turn it in the direction

of the arrow (LOCK) to secure it in place. When you insert it, make sure that the locking lugs on the mixing bowl sit in the recesses which are provided for them. To take o󰀨 the mixing bowl, turn it counter to the direction of the arrow (LOCK) to release it.

3. Plug the attachment you want onto the mount (11) and press the spring on the

mount upwards until the attachment can be turned anticlockwise and xed in place. You must feel it engage. When you plug it on, make sure that the pin on the mount ts in the recess on the attachment. To take o󰀨 the attachment, press the spring upwards until the attachment can be turned clockwise and released.

4. Flip down the mixer head and hold it in this position.

5. Move the release lever counter to the direction of the arrow into the horizontal position

and thus x the mixer head in place. To take o󰀨 the mixing bowl, turn it opposite to the direction of the arrow (LOCK) to release it.19 EN Use PLEASE NOTE! ■ Do not place any objects or hands in the mixing bowl when the device is in operation. ■ Make sure that the rotary switch is in the 0 position before the device is connected to the mains power. ■ Do not overll the mixing bowl (max. 1.5 kg). This might result in the device over- heating or damage to the motor. ■ Never switch on the device if the tilting mixer head has not been ipped down! ■ Never ip up the tilting mixer head during use. ■ Never ll the device with hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter than 50°C. Allow hot food to cool down before processing it any further with the device. ■ Use the device for no more than 3 minutes without interruption to prevent over- heating. Allow the device to cool down before using it again. The device is equipped with overload protection; the device switches o󰀨 if it is overloaded. In this case, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down for approx. 10 minutes. The device is then ready to be used again.

1. Place the device with su󰀩cient clear space above it and on all sides on a dry, at and

solid surface. Be aware that there must be su󰀩cient clear space above to allow the mixer head (12) to be ipped up.

2. Make sure that the suction cups (8) stick to the surface correctly.

3. Place the ingredients you want into the mixing bowl (10).

4. Insert the mixing bowl into the main device (7) and attach the attachment you want

(see “Attaching / Detaching Accessories”).

5. The mains plug should be connected to a plug socket that has been properly installed.

The LED ring (2) ashes. The device is in standby mode.

6. Use the rotary switch (3) to set an appropriate speed level:

0 O󰀨 1 – 3 Slow mixing, stirring and kneading 4 – 6 Fast mixing, stirring and kneading P Pulse (short mode at top speed) To activate pulse mode, the rotary switch must be held in the P position for the length of time you want. The mount (11) moves in a circular motion in the mixing bowl and the attachment rotates around its own axis. The LED ring is lit up constantly while the device is switched on.

7. To switch o󰀨 the device, move the rotary switch to the 0 position. The LED ring

ashes. The device is in standby mode.

8. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket. The LED ring goes out.

CAUTION – Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Always wait until the attachment has come to a complete standstill before ipping up the mixer head.

9. Remove and clean the used attachment and the mixing bowl (see “Cleaning and

Storage”).EN 20 Cleaning and Storage PLEASE NOTE! ■ The main device, the stirring attachment and the dough hook are not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher! ■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the de- vice. These may damage the surfaces.

  • Wipe down the main device (7) with a damp cloth if necessary.
  • Clean the stirring attachment (6) and the dough hook (5) with warm water and deter- gent.
  • Clean the mixing bowl (10) and the whisk (4) with warm water and detergent or in the dishwasher.
  • Allow all parts to dry completely or dry them with a tea towel before storing them away.
  • Store the device in a cool and dry place protected from dust and direct sunlight out of the reach of children and animals. Troubleshooting If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer service department. Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself! Problem Possible cause Fix The device does not work. The mains plug is not in- serted correctly in the plug socket. Correct the t of the mains plug. The plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket. No mains voltage is present. Check the fuse of the mains connection. The rotary switch (3) is in position 0. Move the rotary switch to a position between 1 and 6 or hold it in the P position. The device is overloaded / has overheated. The device is equipped with overload and overheating protection; the device switches o󰀨 if it is overloaded or overheats. Switch o󰀨 the device, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down for approx. 10 minutes. The device is then ready to be used again.21 EN Problem Possible cause Fix The fuse in the fuse box is triggered. Too many devices connected to the same circuit. Reduce the number of devices in the circuit. The device switches itself o󰀨 automatically. The device is overloaded / has overheated. The device is equipped with overload and overheating protection; the device switches o󰀨 if it is overloaded or overheats. Switch o󰀨 the device, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down for approx. 10 minutes. The device is then ready to be used again.
