This air purifier is designed solely to clean the air indoors. The device is designed for domestic use.

If you suffer from a serious illness in the respiratory tract or lungs, consult your doctor before using the air purifier.

This device is not intended for use by people, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with a lack of experience or knowledge, unless someone responsible for their safety can supervise or instruct them beforehand on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.

Make sure that children and minors do not play with or use the device.

Use this device only for the purposes for which it was designed and according to the instructions provided for this type of use. It may be dangerous if used inappropriately. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by inappropriate or improper use.

Keep the packaging out of the reach of children. They could suffocate.

Do not use accessories that are not recommended by LANAFORM or that are not supplied with this equipment.

▲ Electric shock

As with any electrical device, this air purifier must be used cautiously and prudently to avoid risks due to electric shocks.

Conditions of use for the device:

• use it only at the voltage shown on the device (the rating plate is on the back of the device),
• never use the device when it or the accessories have been visibly damaged,
  • do not use it during a storm.

If the device is faulty or breaks down, switch it off and unplug it immediately. Do not pull on the power cable or on the device in order to remove the plug from the wall socket. Do not hold and never carry the device by its power cable. Keep cables away from hot surfaces.

Always switch the device off before pulling out the mains plug.

Never pull the mains plug out with damp or wet hands.

Keep the device away from sources of heat to prevent the casing melting and causing a fire.

Make sure that the opening of the device and the power cable do not come into contact with water, steam or other liquids.

Do not use the device close to highly inflammable gas mixtures or explosives.

Do not attempt to retrieve a device that has fallen into water. Disconnect the device immediately.

Do not use the device if it or its accessories show any signs of damage.

▲ Repairs

Only a specialist may repair electrical devices. Any inappropriate repair may cause a significant risk to the user. Contact customer service or an authorised dealer for any repairs.

The fan should not be open.

▲ Fire hazard

Any inappropriate use or use that does not comply with these operating instructions may cause a fire hazard! Therefore never use the air purifier

• if it is covered, for example, by a blanket, cushions, etc.
• if it is in the vicinity of petrol or other flammable materials.

▲ Use

The device must be switched and unplugged after each use and before it is cleaned.

Do not insert any item into the openings of the device or into any rotating parts. Make sure that the moving parts are always capable of moving freely.

Do not place any item on the device.

Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, knock it or drop it.

Do not shake the device.

Place the device on a stable, horizontal surface.

Do not dismantle the device entirely.

Do not wash the entire unit with water and do not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in this manual.

Do not store the product for long periods in a hot or humid environment.

PRESENTATION

Thank you for choosing the LANAFORM Air Purifier. The air purifier cleans the ambient air of dust particles, pollen, animal hair, odours, harmful gases as well as bacteria and viruses, using a three-layer filtering system and a built-in UV light.

The LANAFORM air purifier:

• filters the air using a combined filter (pre-filter that captures the initial dust and allergen particles, activated carbon filter that filters harmful gases and unpleasant odours, E11 HEPA filter that filters fine particles such as dust, smoke, pollen, allergens, etc.
• has a UV light (effective against micro-organisms such as microbes, germs, viruses, bacteria and mildew),
  • is quiet and has four power levels,
  • has a timer function (two, four or eight hours),
  • is equipped with a night mode,
  • is suitable for rooms of approx. 15-20 m ^2 ,
  • has low energy consumption,
• switches off automatically as soon as the casing cover is removed.

Air purifier's operating principle:

1 The air purifier's fan sucks out the polluted air.
2 The pre-filter filters large particles such as dust, dirt and hair.
3 Formaldehyde, petrol and other harmful gases, as well as unpleasant odours, are then filtered from the ambient air with an activated carbon filter.
4 Fine particles such as pollen, allergens, dust and smoke are filtered through the HEPA filter.
5 The UV light combats micro-organisms such as microbes, germs, viruses, bacteria and mildew.
6 The clean air is thrown out into the ambient air through the exhaust vent onto the top of the air purifier.

▲ Please note

The filtering performances of the E11 HEPA filter are ≥95% . In other words, 95% of the particles (for example, bacteria, viruses and fine dust) can be filtered.

Unfiltered polluted air may have the following effects:

• it may cause infections and diseases of the respiratory tract,
• it has a negative impact on health caused by harmful gases.

1 STOP / START button:
Starting/stopping the device. When the light below the "Filter Reset" flashes, replace the filter. Once you have replaced the filter, keep pressing the STOP/START button to put the 'change filter' display back to zero.

2 VENTILATION SPEED button

The air purifier has four ventilation speeds: I (low), II (average), III (high) and IV (turbo)

3 UV light/Night Mode

Press this button once to switch on the UV light.

Press this button twice to switch on night mode. The indicator will light up 10 times before all the indicators switch off. Press any button to switch on the machine and standby mode will switch off.

Press this button a third time to switch off the UV light. The standby mode indicator will flash 10 times and standby mode is then switched on again.

Then press this button again to switch off night mode.

4 TIMER button

AREA OF USE

Take out the air purifier

Open the cardboard packaging.

Remove the device upwards, leaving the protective film behind.

Now remove all the protective film.

Check that the device, mains adapter and cable are not damaged.

Install the air purifier

Put the air purifier on a flat, solid surface so that it does not vibrate or make a noise.

▲ Please note

Leave a space of approximately 30cm at least around the air purifier.

Make sure that the air inlets and exhaust are never blocked.

INSTRUCTIONS

Switch on the air purifier

1 Follow the instructions in chapter Assembly.
2 Plug the device into the mains. Position the power cable so that nobody trips over it.
3 Press the STOP / START button to switch on the air purifier

① Note

When it is first used, all the LEDs will light up to begin with. The air purifier is set at the lowest ventilation speed.

When the "Filter Reset" light above the STOP / START button flashes, change the combined filter.

To do this, follow the instructions in the chapter on "Changing the filter".

Ventilation speed

The air purifier has four ventilation speeds: I (low), II (average), III (high) and IV (turbo)

To move from one ventilation speed to another, press the ventilation speed button

The VENTILATION SPEED indicator as currently configured will light up on the control panel.

UV light/Night Mode

Press this button once to switch on the UV light.

Press the button a second time to switch on standby mode. The indicator will light up 10 times before all the indicators switch off. Press any button to switch on the machine and standby mode will switch off.

Press this button a third time to switch off the UV light. The standby mode indicator will flash 10 times and standby mode is then switched on again.

Then press this button again to switch off standby mode.

Timer function

The air purifier has a timer function with which you can decide on the number of hours after which the device must stop. The air purifier has three timer periods: 2hrs (two hours), 4hrs (four hours) and 8hrs (eight hours).

To move from one timer speed to another, press the TIMER button. The timer length indicator as currently configured will light up on the control panel. The air purifier then switches off automatically after the number of hours defined.

To switch off the timer, press the TIMER button until no light is lit above the button. The air purifier will then run with no time limit.

Changing the air filter

You must replace the three-layer filter after 4,320 hours of use. The red "Filter Reset" LED above the STOP/START button flashes after 4,320 hours of use. To replace the filter, proceed as follows:

• Turn the purifier upside down.

• Unscrew the bolt under the base followed by the base.

• Remove the dirty filter and insert the new filter into the device.
  Put the base back in place and fix it using the fastening nut.

Replacing the UV light

The UV light has a life of 20,000 hours.

• Unscrew the UV light's holder:
  • Gently remove the cover and unscrew the UV light.
• Insert a new UV light then put the cover back on.
• Note: Do not look at the UV light when it is lit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

😊 Impossible to switch on the air purifier.

⑦ The casing cover has not been installed properly.
😊 Make sure that the casing cover is in the right position.
② The three-layer filter has not been installed properly.
😊 Make sure that the three-layer filter is the right position.
⑦ The mains adapter is not connected.
😊 Plug the mains adapter into a suitable power socket.

☺ There is insufficient throughput of air

⑦ The filters are clogged.
😊 Clean the filters (see the chapter on "Maintenance and Storage".

⑦ The air inlet/exhaust is blocked

😊 Make sure that the air inlet/exhaust is not blocked.

😊 The air purifier is very noisy.

⑦ There is a foreign body in the air inlet/exhaust.
😊 Remove the foreign body from the air inlet/exhaust.
② The filters are clogged.
😊 Clean the filters (see the chapter on "Maintenance and Storage").
⑦ The filters are not installed properly.
😊 Reposition the filters correctly.
② The air purifier is standing on a very uneven surface.
😊 Put the air purifier on a flat surface.

MAINTENANCE

▲ Install the air purifier

Before cleaning the device, check that the air purifier's power supply is fully disconnected. Clean the air purifier's casing with a slightly damp cloth (with water or a gentle cleaning solution). Do not use thinner or other corrosive or abrasive cleaning products because the surface might get damaged.

▲ Clean the filter

Only the pre-filter is washable. Check that it is dry before fixing to the HEPA filter and activated carbon filter.

The filter needs to be cleaned regularly (once a month) for efficient and hygienic use. Clean the three-layer filter with the nozzle of a vacuum brush. For a full clean, remove the pre-filter, then clean the carbon filter and the HEPA filter with the nozzle of a vacuum brush. Then replace the pre-filter on the HEPA filter.

The three-layer filter must be replaced after 4,320 hours of use (see chapter on "Changing the air filter").

STORAGE

If you do not use the device for a prolonged period, we recommend that you store it once cleaned in its original packaging and do not put anything on top of it.

ADVICE ON WASTE DISPOSAL

The packaging consists entirely of environmentally-friendly materials that can be taken to your local waste sorting centre to be used as secondary materials. Cardboard can be placed in a paper collection container. Packing film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.

When you are no longer using the device, dispose of it in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with the statutory requirements.

LIMITED WARRANTY

LANAFORM guarantees that this product will be free from any material and workmanship defects for a period of two years from the date it was purchased, other than as specified below.

The LANAFORM warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear on this product. In addition, the warranty on this

LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused as a result of any abusive, inappropriate or incorrect use, accident, attachment of any unauthorised accessory, modification of the product or any other situation of whatever kind, beyond the control of LANAFORM.

LANAFORM shall not be held liable for any type of incidental, consequential or special damage.

Any implied warranties of the product's fitness for purpose are limited to a period of two years from the original purchase date on presentation of a copy of the proof of purchase.

Upon receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your device, as appropriate, and return it to you. The warranty may only be used at the LANAFORM Service Centre. Any

maintenance and repair work carried out on this product by any person other than the LANAFORM Service Centre will invalidate this warranty.
