Heat control – Switch Knob (See 2, Fig. 1) OFF Cool Blow* Half Heat Full Heat Thermostat control knob (See 3, Fig. 1) The heat output is controlled by the thermostat, according to the room temperature. Turn the thermostat knob fully clockwise to maximum setting initially. When the room is warm enough, reduce the setting slowly until the heater just clicks off. The heater will now cycle on and off to maintain your selected room temperature. An audible click may be heard when the thermostat operates - this is normal. Note: If the heater does not come on when the thermostat is at a low setting, this is normally because the room is warmer than the thermostat setting and is not a fault. When the heat control is set to for cool blow, set the thermostat control (3) to maximum. Position will turn the heater on and off to maintain a temperature of approximately 5°. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it:

• Clean the surface of the appliance using a soft cloth, do not use any water.

• If the appliance is very dirty, clean the surface using a damp cloth (add a non-corrosive cleaning product if required.

• Do not use corrosive detergents, corrosive solvents or chemical products.

• Do not use an abrasive sponge, scouring pad or hard brush to clean the appliance.

• Do not immerse the main body of the appliance into water.

• Ensure that the motor and the other electrical components do not come into contact with water.

• If the appliance is not to be used for a long period, pack it away carefully. Store it in a dry and ventilated area where it will not be affected by dust. GUARANTEE This EWT
