1. Read all the instructions before using the product.
2. NEVER leave the power station on and unattended.
Unattended operation of this product could result in personal injury or property damage. Switch o the power station when not in use.
3. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary
when the product is used near children.
4. Do not put ngers or hands into the product.
5. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by power
station manufacturer may result in a risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
6. To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and cord,
pull the plug rather than the cord when disconnecting the power station.
7. ALWAYS ensure that the power station's AC charger
is easily accessible during operation to allow for quick disconnection from the mains.
8. Do not operate the power station with a damaged cord or
plug, or a damaged output cable.
9. Do not use a power station or appliance that is damaged
or modied. Damaged or modied products may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.
10. When charging battery pack(s), work in a well-ventilated
area and do not restrict ventilation in any way.
11. ALWAYS operate the power station in a clean, dry, well
ventilated area. Make sure hands are dry before touching this product. Water can conduct electricity! Water coming in contact with electrically charged components can transmit electricity resulting in electrical shock to anyone contacting them.
12. Do not expose the power station to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering the power station will increase the risk of electric shock.
13. Do not insert battery pack(s) into compartment(s), plug
the power station in, or plug any device into the power station’s power receptacle if moisture is detected on or in the power station.
14. Place the power station on a stable, at surface where it
will not fall or tip over.
15. Do not use the power station to power medical or other

17. The power station is not intended for any use other than

station from the outlet and remove the battery pack(s) before attempting any servicing. Battery & Charger Safety Instructions NOTE: The battery is not included and must be purchased separately. Model 24V-300WI is compatible with the iON+ 24V System batteries. See page 15 for more information. We pay a great deal of attention to the design of every battery pack to ensure that we supply you with batteries that are safe, durable and have a high energy density. The battery cells have a wide range of safety devices. Each individual cell is initially formatted and its electrical characteristic curves are recorded. This data is then used exclusively to be able to assemble the best possible battery packs. Despite all the safety precautions, caution must always be exercised when handling batteries. The following points must be obeyed at all times to ensure safe use. Safe use can only be guaranteed if undamaged cells are used. Incorrect handling of the battery pack can cause cell damage. IMPORTANT! Analyses conrm that incorrect use and poor care of high-performance batteries are the main factors responsible for personal and/or product damage. mWARNING! Use only approved replacement batteries; other batteries may damage the power station and cause it to malfunction, which can lead to serious personal injury. mWARNING! Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care. Have your battery pack serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the battery pack is maintained. mCAUTION! To reduce the risk of injury, charge the Sun Joe
24V lithium-ion battery pack only in this power station or its designated Sun Joe
lithium-ion charger. Other types of chargers present risk of re, personal injury and damage. Do not wire a battery pack to a power supply plug or car cigarette lighter. Such misuse will permanently disable or damage the battery pack.
- Avoid dangerous environments – Do not charge the battery pack in rain, snow or in damp or wet locations. Do not use or charge the battery pack in the presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or ammable materials) because sparks may be generated when inserting or removing the battery pack, which could lead to a re.
- Charge in a well-ventilated area – Do not block the charger vents. Keep them clear to allow for proper ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open ames near a charging battery pack. Vented gases may explode. NOTE: The safe temperature range for the battery is 41°F – 105ºF (5°C – 40.5°C). Do not charge the battery outside in freezing weather; charge it at room temperature.
- Maintain charger cord – When unplugging the charger, pull the plug, not the cord, from the receptacle to reduce the risk of damage to the electrical plug and cord. Never carry the charger by its cord or yank it by the cord to disconnect it from the receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Make sure the cord will not be stepped on, tripped over or subjected to damage or stress when the charger is in use. Do not use the charger with a damaged cord or plug. Replace a damaged charger immediately.
- Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary – Using the wrong, damaged or improperly wired extension cord poses a risk of re and electric shock. If an extension cord must be used, plug the charger into a properly wired 16 gauge or larger extension cord with the female plug matching the male plug on the charger. Make sure that the extension cord is in good electrical condition.
- Use only recommended attachments – Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery pack manufacturer may result in risk of re, electric shock or personal injury.
- Unplug charger when not in use. mWARNING! To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the charger before performing any cleaning or maintenance. Do not allow water to ow into the charger. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to reduce shock hazards.
- Do not burn or incinerate battery pack – Battery pack may explode, causing personal injury or damage. Toxic fumes and materials are created when battery packs are burned.
- Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack – Do not use the battery pack or charger if they have sustained a sharp blow, been dropped, run over or have been damaged in any way (i.e. pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on, etc.).
- Do not disassemble – Incorrect reassembly may pose a serious risk of electric shock, re or exposure to toxic battery chemicals. If the battery or charger are damaged, contact an authorized Snow Joe
dealer or call the Snow Joe
- Battery chemicals cause serious burns – Never let a damaged battery pack contact the skin, eyes or mouth. If a damaged battery pack leaks battery chemicals, use rubber or neoprene gloves to safely dispose of it. If skin is exposed to battery uids, wash the aected area with soap and water and rinse with vinegar. If eyes are exposed to battery chemicals, immediately ush with water for 20 minutes and seek medical attention. Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing.3
- Do not short circuit – When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a re.
- Store your battery pack and charger in a cool, dry place – Do not store the battery pack or charger where temperatures may exceed 105ºF (40.5ºC), such as in direct sunlight or inside a vehicle or metal building during the summer. Information about the battery
1. For optimum battery performance, avoid low discharge
cycles by charging the battery pack(s) frequently.
2. Store the battery pack (s) in a cool place, ideally at 77°F
(25°C) and charged to at least 40%.
3. Lithium-ion batteries are subject to a natural aging
process. The battery pack must be replaced at the latest when its capacity falls to just 80% of its capacity when new. Weakened cells in an aged battery pack are no longer capable of meeting the high power requirements needed for the proper operation of your power station, and therefore pose a safety risk.
4. Do not throw the battery pack (s) into an open re as this
poses a risk of explosion.
5. Do not ignite the battery pack(s) or expose it to re.
6. Do not exhaustively discharge batteries. Exhaustive
discharge will damage the battery cells. The most common cause of exhaustive discharge is lengthy storage or non-use of partially discharged batteries. Stop working as soon as the performance of the battery falls noticeably or the electronic protection system triggers. Place the battery pack in storage only after it has been fully charged.
7. Protect the battery pack(s) and the tool from overloads.
Overloads will quickly result in overheating and cell damage inside the battery housing even if this overheating is not apparent externally.
8. Avoid damage and shocks. Immediately replace batteries
that have been dropped from a height of more than 3 feet (1 meter) or those that have been exposed to violent shocks, even if the housing of the battery pack appears to be undamaged. The battery cells inside the battery may have suered serious damage. In such instances, please read the waste disposal information for proper battery disposal.
9. If the battery pack(s) suer overloading and overheating,
the integrated protective cuto will switch o the equipment for safety reasons. IMPORTANT! Do not press the power supply button any more if the protective cut-o has been activated. This may damage the battery pack.
10. Recharge only with the power station or the charger
specied by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of re when used with another battery pack.
11. Use appliances only with specically designated battery
packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
12. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
13. Do not use a battery pack(s) or appliance that is damaged
or modied. Damaged or modied batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.
14. Do not expose a battery pack(s) or appliance to re or
excessive temperature. Exposure of the battery to re or temperature above 265ºF (130°C) may cause explosion.
15. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the
battery pack(s) outside of the temperature range specied in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specied range may damage the battery and increase the risk of re. Information about the charger and the charging process
1. Please check the data marked on the rating plate of the
battery charger. Be sure to connect the battery charger to a power supply with the voltage marked on the rating plate. Never connect it to a dierent mains voltage.
2. Protect the battery charger and its cord from damage.
Keep the charger and its cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Have damaged cords repaired without delay by a qualied technician at an authorized Snow Joe
dealer or call the Snow Joe
the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with grounded appliances. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
4. Keep the battery charger, battery pack(s) and the power
station out of the reach of children.
5. During periods of heavy use, the battery pack(s) will
become warm. Allow the battery pack(s) to cool to room temperature before connecting with the charger to recharge.
6. Do not overcharge batteries. Do not exceed the maximum
charging times. These charging times only apply to discharged batteries. Frequent insertion of a charged or partially charged battery pack will result in overcharging and cell damage. Do not leave batteries in the charger for days on end.
7. Never use or charge the battery if you suspect that it has
been more than 12 months since the last time they were charged. There is a high probability that the battery pack has already suered dangerous damage (exhaustive discharge).4
8. Charging batteries at a temperature below 41°F (5°C) will
cause chemical damage to the cells and may cause a re.
9. Do not use batteries that have been exposed to heat
during the charging process, as the battery cells may have suered dangerous damage.
10. Do not use batteries that have suered curvature or
deformation during the charging process or those that exhibit other atypical symptoms (gassing, hissing, cracking, etc.).
11. Never fully discharge the battery pack(s) (maximum
recommended depth of discharge is 80%). A complete discharge of the battery pack(s) will lead to premature aging of the battery cells. Protection from environmental inuences
1. Protect your power station and the battery charger from
moisture and rain. Moisture and rain can cause dangerous cell damage.
2. Do not use the power station or the battery charger near
vapors and ammable liquids.
3. Use the battery charger and power station only in dry
conditions and at an ambient temperature of 41ºF – 105°F (5°C – 40.5°C).
4. Do not keep the battery charger in places where the
temperature is liable to reach over 105°F (40.5°C). In particular, do not leave the battery charger in a car that is parked in the sunshine.
5. Protect batteries from overheating. Overloads,
overcharging and exposure to direct sunlight will result in overheating and cell damage. Never charge or work with batteries that have been overheated – replace them immediately, if possible.
6. Store the charger and your power station only in dry
locations with an ambient temperature of 41ºF – 105°F (5°C – 40.5°C). Store your lithium-ion battery pack in a cool, dry place at a temperature of 77°F (25°C). Protect the battery pack, charger and power station from humidity and direct sunlight. Only place fully charged batteries in storage (charged to at least 40%).
7. Prevent the lithium-ion battery pack from freezing. Battery
packs that were stored below 32°F (0°C) for more than 60 minutes must be discarded.
8. When handling batteries, be wary of electrostatic charge.
Electrostatic discharges can damage the electronic protection system and the battery cells. Avoid electrostatic charging and never touch the battery poles.5 Safety Symbols The following table depicts and describes safety symbols that may appear on this product. 1. Carefully remove the cordless power station and check to
see that all of the above items are supplied.
2. Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or
damage occurred during shipping. If you nd damaged or missing parts, DO NOT return the unit to the store. Please call the Snow Joe
customer service center at 1-866-SNOWJOE (1-866-766-9563). NOTE: Do not discard the shipping carton and packaging material until you are ready to use your new cordless power station. The packaging is made of recyclable materials. Properly dispose of these materials in accordance with local regulations. IMPORTANT! The equipment and packaging material are not toys. Do not let children play with plastic bags, foils or small parts. These items can be swallowed and pose a suocation risk! Battery Pack Operation The equipment is powered by lithium-ion battery. The battery pack is completely sealed and maintenance free. Battery Charge Level Indicator The battery pack is equipped with a push button for checking the charge level. Simply press the push button to read o the battery charge level from the LEDs of the battery indicator:
- All 3 level monitoring LEDs are lit: Battery charge level is high.
- 2 level monitoring LEDs are lit: Battery charge level is decreasing. Stop discharge the battery as soon as possible.
- 1 level monitoring LED is lit: Battery is at. Stop discharge the battery IMMEDIATELY and charge the battery. Otherwise the battery’s service life will be greatly shortened. NOTE: If the charge level button does not appear to be working, connect with the power station or the iON+ 24V lithium-ion battery charger and charge as needed. NOTE: Immediately after discharging, the charge level button of the battery may display a lower charge than it will if checked a few minutes later. The battery cells “recover” some of their charge after resting. Operation mWARNING! Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sucient to inict serious injury. In order to operate this cordless power station you will need at least one iON+ 24V System battery. For optimal performance of this unit, it is recommended to use the

iON+ 24V lithium-iON battery packs when used with the included iON+ 24V lithium- ion battery charger. NOTE: The charge process and the discharge process (including powering/charging connected appliances, reading light, spotlight, wireless charging) cannot happen at the same time. Only one function can be used at a time. LCD Screen (Fig. 1)
1. Battery charging status – The icon indicate the
remaining capacity of the currently working batteries. When battery pack(s) is/are being charged in the power station, the icon will lit and ash to indicate the charging process.
2. Battery capacity indicator/Timer – Indicates the
remaining capacity of the working batteries in percentage format. When there's only one battery connected, it will act as a timer to indicate the remaining time of discharging process.
3. Wireless charging status – The wireless charger icon will
lit when the wireless charger on top of the power station is working.
4. USB working status – The USB icon will lit when there is
power when the power station is in discharging mode (A device is connected with any receptacle or being charged by the wireless charger).
6. Working battery status – The four icons correspond
with each battery compartment on the power station to represent the batteries in the compartments. The corresponding icon(s) will lit when there's battery pack(s) in the compartment(s) ready for discharging and will ash when the corresponding battery pack is discharging. NOTE: The working battery status indicator will not lit up when battery pack(s) is/are being charged or is/are at.
7. Error display. Check the table below for each error code
and the corresponding cause and solution. If any other situation happened, Please call the Snow Joe

The power station will automatically shut down. The power station may be overloaded. Wait for one minute and try restart the power station. If the situation continues, remove some connected appliances and restart. If the situation continues, call the Snow Joe
customer service center at 1-866-SNOWJOE (1-866-766-9563). Indicates the power station is overheated. Wait for the power station to cool down and restart.

The power station will automatically shut down.9 Charging Operation mWARNING! Only charge batteries indoors where the temperature is between 41°F (5°C) and 104°F (40°C).
1. Check that the mains voltage is the same as that marked
on the rating plate of the battery charger. Then, insert the charger adapter into the electrical wall outlet. Insert the charger plug into the charging socket on the power station, as shown (Fig. 2).
2. Insert 1 – 4 battery pack(s) in the battery compartment(s)
securely (Fig. 3). The charging will begin as soon as the battery pack(s) is/are mounted properly.
3. During the charging process, the battery charging status
icon on the LCD screen will lit up and ash to indicate the charging process (Fig. 4).
4. Based on the battery pack(s) inserted in the power station,
the charging time may vary. When charging is complete, remove the battery pack(s) and unplug the charger from the outlet and the power station. NOTE: If the batteries being charged have the same power capacity, the power station will charge all batteries together. If the batteries being charged have dierent power capacities, the power station will charge the lowest one rstly. When all of the batteries are of the same capacity level, the power station will charge all batteries together until they are full.
5. The iON+ 24V System batteries can also be charged
directly with the included iON+ 24V lithium-ion charger. Simply plug the charger adapter into an appropriate AC power outlet and connect the charger plug into the charging socket of the battery to start charging. The battery indicator LEDs will twinkle and illuminate one by one during the charging process. Unplug the charger immediately when the 3 LEDs are all illuminated (Fig. 5). Fig. 2

Powering/Charging Appliances mWARNING! Do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into any receptacle. Otherwise a circuit short may cause smoke or re.
1. Mount battery pack(s) securely in any battery
compartment(s). The power station can work with 1 - 4 battery pack(s) to provide dierent power output. NOTE: For optimum performance, fully charge all batteries before use.
2. Press the On/O button to turn on the power station. The
power station will be in self-check mode for less than 1 second (Fig. 6). Then the LCD screen will be in standby mode (Fig. 7). NOTE: If the working battery status icon doesn't recognize any inserted batteries, remove the batteries and reinsert.
3. Connect the devices you want to power or charge into the
power station's USB receptacle and/or AC receptacle (Fig. 8). The corresponding USB working status icon will light up on the LCD screen when there's devices connected to any of the USB receptacles. NOTE: During use, the batteries in the compartments will be discharged one by one in the direction as shown next. If any compartment is empty, the power station will jump to discharge the next available battery (Fig. 9). NOTE: If the power station is turned on without any appliance be connected, and both the spotlight and the reading lights are o for more than 2 minutes, the power station will shut down automatically . mWARNING! Do not insert the AC charger’s plug into the power station's AC port.
4. During discharge mode, the working battery status icon
will ash to indicate which battery is currently working. Other stand-by battery pack(s)'s icon will lit up. The LCD screen will also show the remain power capacity in percentage and the current output (Fig. 10). 5. After using, disconnect the devices from the power
station, and then press the On/O button to shut o the power station. Using the Spotlight
1. Mount battery pack(s) securely in any battery
compartment(s). Press the On/O button to turn on the power station (Fig. 6).
2. Press the spotlight switch to turn on the spotlight
3. Hold the power station by the handle to use it as a
spotlight (Fig. 12). Using the Reading Light The power station is also equipped with 4 reading lights under the handle. To turn on the reading light, mount battery pack(s) securely in any battery compartment(s), press the On/O button to turn on the power station, and press the reading light switch (Fig. 13). Using the Wireless Charger The top of the handle can also serve as a wireless charger. With the battery pack(s) mounted in securely and the power station turned on, place your device on wireless charger pad on the top of the handle. The power station will start to charge the device and the wireless charger icon on the LCD screen will lit up (Fig. 14). NOTE: To activate the wireless charger, the device need to be put right in the middle of the wireless charger pad. If the wireless charger doesn't work, replace the device and make sure it's in the middle of the pad. Maintenance mWARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, always turn the power station o and remove battery pack(s) from the compartment before cleaning or performing any maintenance. mWARNING! When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. Wireless charger Fig. 1412 General Maintenance Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. mWARNING! Do not at any time let brake uids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic, which could result in serious personal injury. Storage
- Disconnect all appliances, switch o the power station, and remove the battery pack(s). Thoroughly clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth.

- The power station in not connected properly to the power source.
- The batteries are not mounted properly.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and reconnect. If not working, try another power source.
- Remove the batteries and reinsert. The power station stops discharging the battery pack(s) and shut down.
- The power station is overloaded or overheated. Or the batteries are at.
