USER MANUAL HEC3000 Soler & Palau

Please read these instructions carefully before using the product in order to avoid damage or any dangerous situations arising. Any use of the product other than that indicated in this manual may cause fire, electrical danger, or injury and will make the warranty null and void. The warranty does not cover any defect, deterioration, loss, injury, or damage that is due to incorrect use of the product. All legal rights in this regard are guaranteed. No warranty condition can exclude or change the warranty conditions regulated by State laws that may not be excluded or modified for any reason. Before doing anything else, remove the packaging carefully and check the integrity of the product. Should any defects or damage be found, do not install or attempt to repair the equipment, but contact the dealer. Do not leave the packaging within reach of children and dispose of the parts in compliance with current provisions.

Make sure the power supply corresponds to the details shown on the nameplate: 230 V ~ 50Hz (Clase I) Make sure the electrical circuit has the capacity for an appliance rated at 3000W (13 A). This product has been designed as a mobile heater. Flammable objects (curtains, furniture, plants, etc. ) should not be placed at less than 3 metres from the appliance. The front of the appliance must not be obstructed. Do not place the device directly under an awning or flammable material. ENGLISH9 The unit can operate outside, if always under cover. This heater is not equipped with a device of room temperatu- re control. Do not use this heater in small rooms that are occupied by people who can not leave the room by themselves, unless ongoing monitoring is assured.

3. Mounting (Figure 1)

Read the safety warnings before starting to mount the product. We recommend a minimum of 2 people for mounting the base. Do not connect the device to the electrical supply until it is fully mounted. Screw the bottom metal tube (E) to the base (F). Screw the middle metal tube (D) to the bottom tube (E). Screw the upper metal tube (C) to the rest of the set. Make sure the two holes are at the top to ensure the heater can be locked in place (Detail 1). With the help of another person take the heater and then spend all wire and plug from inside the base. Insert the heater into the top tube and secure with the two screws provided (Detail 1) Pull the power supply wire through and fix it to the bottom of the base by the two fasteners and screws (Detail 2).

Before carrying out any maintenance work, make sure that the device has been disconnected from the mains and let the heater cool down for a few minutes.12 This product does not require special maintenance. It needs to be cleaned periodically to prevent accumulation of dust on the lamps, as this may cause overheating of the heater. Clean the lamp with a brush and the body of the product with a damp cloth. The replacement of the lamps must be performed by qualified personnel, so contact the Official Service network of S&P, to ensure adequate technical assistence. Do not immerse the device or spray with water. If the appliance is not to be used for any length of time, we recommend returning it to its original package and storing it in a dry, dust-free place.

6. Removal from service and recycling

EU regulations and our commitment to future generations oblige us to recycle used materials; please remember to dispose of all unwanted packaging materials at the appropriate recycling points, and to drop off obsolete equipment at the nearest waste management point

If a fault is observed in the unit, please contact any of the mentioned technical service offices and they will attend to your problem. Any modification of the appliance by personnel not belonging to the Official S&P Services will result in your guarantee being void.
