How to connect the speaker via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker, it automatically goes into search mode. On your mobile device, look for PARTYBTHPLH in Bluetooth devices and select it. A beep confirms the connection. The screen displays 'Blue' steady when paired.

How to charge the speaker and how long does the battery last?

Use the supplied AC adapter (9V/2A). Plug it into the DC 5V port on the speaker. The red light turns on during charging and turns off when fully charged. Battery life is about 5 to 6 hours at moderate volume, and 1.5 hours at maximum volume.

Can I use a microphone with this speaker?

Yes, plug the included wired microphone into the MIC IN port. Adjust the volume with the M.VOL knob, and adjust the bass, treble, and echo with the corresponding knobs. Unplug the microphone after use.

How to play music from a USB flash drive or SD card?

Insert a USB flash drive or micro-SD card (max 32 GB) into the slots. Playback starts automatically. Use the Next/Previous buttons to change tracks, and the RPT button to repeat a track or the entire list. Supported formats: MP3 and WAV.

How to change the lighting effects?

Make sure the LED switch is set to ON. Press and hold the MODE button to change the lighting effect. You can also use the LED button on the remote control to vary the effects.

What to do if the speaker does not turn on?

Check if the battery is charged. Plug in the AC adapter and wait a few minutes. If it still does not turn on, try another power outlet. If the problem persists, contact Bigben support.

How to use the remote control?

The remote control allows you to: power on/off (POWER), change mode (MODE), navigate between tracks (NEXT/PREV), adjust volume (VOL+/VOL-), choose an equalizer (EQ: Jazz, Rock, Bass, Normal), change LEDs, repeat (RPT), play/pause (PLAY/PAUSE), and mute (MUTE).

The speaker goes into standby automatically, how to wake it up?

The speaker goes into standby after 10 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, press the Power button. If connected via Bluetooth, pressing Play may also wake it up.

Can I use the speaker outdoors?

The speaker is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to rain, humidity, or direct sunlight. It does not have a waterproof certification.

How to clean the speaker?

Always unplug the speaker before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Never use abrasive products, solvents, or harsh cleaners. Do not lubricate any parts.

Getting started

• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.

You must read and understand all the instructions before using this appliance. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

1. Never remove the appliance casing.

Features and Operation

Power button:

Press the "Power" button to turn the speaker on and off.

Choice of mode:

Press the “mode” button to switch from LINE IN mode to USB and BT (Bluetooth®) modes. The chosen mode will appear on the screen.

Bluetooth connection:

• When switched on, the speaker automatically switches to Bluetooth search mode.
• Find the device called “PARTYBTHPLH” on your mobile device and select it. Once found, you’ll hear a beep indicating that the speaker is connected to the device.
• During pairing, the text "Blue" flashes during the search and remains fixed once paired.
• Short-press the Next/Previous button to select the next/previous track.
• Short-press the Play/Pause button on the device, and the speaker will play or stop the music.

AUX-IN mode:

• Press the "mode" button to select AUX mode. The word "AUX" appears on the screen.
• Use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect your device.
• Listen to music via USB/micro-SD card
• Insert a USB key/micro-SD card into the slot, and the music will start automatically.

NB: Maximum supported capacity of 32 GB for playing USB/SD cards. This device plays This device plays MP3, WAV formats. The device does not play SanDisk Ultra 32GB SD cards.

EQ light:

The light turns on when the speaker is turned on and the LED light button is set to ON. Press and hold the MODE button to change the light effects.

Fast rewind: In USB or micro-SD card mode, you can long-press the "previous" button to get the fast rewind function.

Fast forward: In USB or micro-SD card mode, you can long-press the "next" button to get the fast forward function.

Standby mode: The speaker will go into standby mode after 10 minutes without use.

How to recharge:

• Do not use a power source greater than 9V 2A.
• Recharge your speaker with our standard 9V/2A USB adapter. During charging, the LED indicator lights up red. The LED charging indicator turns off when charging is complete.
• An audible signal will remind you to recharge the battery when it's low. As soon as the beep sounds, remember to plug in your speaker to recharge it.

Microphone:

• Connect the microphone cable to the MIC port on the speaker.
• Turn the M.VOL dial to adjust the volume.
• Turn the Bass/Treble dials to adjust the level of bass and treble tones.
• Turn the Echo dial on the speaker to adjust the reverb effect.
  • After use, unplug the microphone and store it when not in use.

WARNING! Risk of hearing damage

Adjust the player to a low volume before connecting the headphones to the sound source.

Avoid any excessive volume, particularly for long periods of time or in the event of frequent use. Excessive volume can lead to permanent hearing loss.

Remote control:

1. POWER: Press this button to turn the speaker on/off.

2.MODE: Press this button to switch from Bluetooth mode to Aux mode.

3.NEXT: In Bluetooth, USB or micro-SD card mode, short-press this button to go to the next track. In USB or micro-SD card mode, long-press to fast forward the music.

4.PREV: Plug in the USB key or micro-SD card, short-press this button to skip to the next track. In USB or micro-SD card mode, long-press to fast-rewind.

5.VOL-: Press this button to reduce the volume.

6.VOL+: Press this button to increase the volume.

7.EQ: Press this button to choose Jazz, Rock, Bass or Normal modes

1. LED: Press to change light effects.
2. RPT: Connect the USB stick or micro-SD card, briefly press "RPT" (the screen will show "ALL") to replay the entire playlist, and press "PRT" twice (the screen will show "ONE") to replay the track.
3. figures "0 to 9": Press a number from 0 to 9 to switch from one track to another on the USB key/SD card.

Additional information

• To save energy, when the appliance does not issue any audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into standby mode. It can be switched ON by using the POWER selector again
