Where to install the SaluSpa 60032?
Install the spa on a smooth, flat, and level surface capable of supporting the weight (up to 848 kg empty + water). Avoid uneven or sloped floors. Outdoors, place it near a floor drain. Indoors, ensure good ventilation to limit humidity.
How to test the GFCI breaker before each use?
Plug the cord into a power outlet: the indicator turns red. Press the Test button: the indicator turns off, the pump stops. Press Reset: the indicator turns red again, the spa is ready. If the test fails, do not use the spa and contact customer service.
How to adjust the water temperature?
Use the + and - buttons on the control panel. The adjustable temperature ranges from 20 °C (68 °F) to 40 °C (104 °F). The default temperature is 35 °C (95 °F). When the indicator above the Heater button is red, heating is active; when green, the water has reached the desired temperature.
How to use the energy saving timer?
Press the Timer button. First set the heating duration (1 to 999 hours) with the +/- buttons, then confirm. Then set the delay before activation (0 to 999 hours) and confirm. Heating will automatically start at the end of the delay and run for the chosen duration. The timer does not repeat: you need to reprogram it.
What to do if the pump does not heat properly?
Check that the set temperature is not too low. Clean or replace the filter cartridge. Make sure the water level is correct and the cover is in place. If the thermal cutout has tripped, unplug the pump, wait for it to cool down, then plug it back in.
How to clean and replace the filter cartridge?
Cut off the power. Remove the filtration unit from inside the spa. Take out the cartridge and rinse it with clean water. If it is very dirty or discolored, replace it. We recommend changing it weekly. Replace the cartridge and reassemble the unit.
Which chemicals to use for water maintenance?
Use chlorine or bromine tablets (not granules) with the supplied chemical dispenser. Adjust pH between 7.4 and 7.6, total alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm, and free chlorine between 2 and 4 ppm. Test the water regularly with a test kit. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
How does the Freeze Shield™ system work in winter?
If the outdoor temperature drops below 6 °C (42.8 °F), leave the heater on permanently. Freeze Shield™ automatically maintains the water between 6 °C and 10 °C (42.8-50 °F) to prevent freezing. If the system fails, an alarm sounds. In case of prolonged absence with risk of freezing, empty and store the spa.
What does error code E03 mean?
Error code E03 indicates a water flow problem. Possible causes: left-in plugs, dirty filter cartridge, kinked hoses, or a defective flow sensor. Check that all plugs are removed, clean the cartridge, straighten the hoses, and restart the pump. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to repair a tear in the spa liner?
For standard PVC: clean the area, peel off the supplied adhesive patch, apply it to the tear, and wait 30 seconds before reinflating. For TriTech PVC: clean and dry the area, cut a PVC patch, apply glue (not supplied), wait 30 seconds, place the patch, smooth and press firmly for 2 minutes, then wait 30 minutes before inflating.
