How to install the SaluSpa 60016 spa?
Place the spa on a flat, smooth, and stable surface that can support the weight (water + users). Install it at least 1.5 m from any metal surface. If the ambient temperature is below 15 °C, unfold and inflate the spa indoors then install it outdoors. Connect the pump, fill with water above jet level, and plug into a grounded outlet.
How long does it take to heat to 40 °C?
Heating time depends on the initial and ambient temperature. For example, for water at 20 °C and an ambient temperature of 20 °C, it takes about 20 hours. At 30 °C ambient, about 9 hours. Heating speed is about 2-3 °C/h.
How to use the energy-saving timer?
Press the Timer button to set the heating duration (1 to 999 hours) then the start time (0 to 999 hours from now). The heater will activate at the chosen time for the set duration. The timer does not repeat and must be reset manually.
What to do if the GFCI does not work?
Before each use, press the GFCI Test button: the pump should stop. If not, unplug immediately and do not reuse the spa. Consult the support section on www.bestwaycorp.com or call a qualified electrician.
How to clean and maintain spa water?
Maintain a pH between 7.4 and 7.6 and a free chlorine level of 2-4 ppm. Use tablets of chlorine or bromine in the included dispenser (do not throw tablets directly into water). Shower before use. Change water every 3 days without chemical treatment, or according to usage frequency with treatment.
How often to change the filter cartridge?
It is recommended to clean the filter cartridge daily and replace it weekly if dirty or discolored. A clogged cartridge reduces filtration and heating efficiency.
How to repair a tear or puncture in the spa?
Use the provided adhesive patch. Clean and dry the damaged area, apply the patch pressing firmly for 30 seconds. For TriTech models, use PVC patch with glue (not included). Let dry 30 minutes before reinflating.
Is it safe to use the spa in winter?
Yes, thanks to the Freeze Shield™ system which keeps water between 6 °C and 10 °C when heating is on. Do not turn off the heater if outside temperature is below 6 °C. Below -10 °C, the spa must not be used. If you are away for a long time, drain and store the spa.
What chemicals to use for water maintenance?
Use chlorine or bromine tablets (not granules) in the included dispenser. For pH adjustment, use spa-specific products. Consult a specialized dealer. Misuse of products may discolor the PVC and is not covered by warranty.
What to do if the spa does not heat or shows an error code?
