How to set the water temperature on the Eldom Lumi C510C kettle?

Press button B to select the desired temperature (40°C, 70°C, 80°C or 90°C). The corresponding indicator lights up on the panel. When the temperature is reached, the kettle switches off automatically.

What do the different backlight colors mean?

The backlight changes according to temperature: green for 40°C, blue for 70°C, yellow for 80°C, purple for 90°C. It lights up during operation.

How to activate the keep warm function?

After boiling water at 100°C (default temperature), press and hold button A until a second beep is heard. The indicator flashes and the backlight turns on. The function keeps water between 85°C and 100°C for 2 hours.

How to clean the Eldom Lumi C510C kettle?

Unplug and let cool. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and dish soap. Never immerse the kettle in water. For the interior, use a cloth soaked in vinegar, then rinse with clean water.

How to descale the kettle?

Boil 0.5 L of water, turn off and unplug. Add 0.1 L of vinegar and let sit for several hours. Empty, rinse, then boil 1 L of water and empty again. Regular descaling prevents wear of the heating element.

How to clean the anti-scale filter?

The removable filter can be taken out and rinsed under water, or cleaned with a soft brush. Regular cleaning is necessary, especially in hard water areas.

What to do if the kettle does not turn on?

Check that the kettle is properly placed on its base and that the base is plugged in. Make sure there is enough water (at least 0.5 L). If the problem persists, contact an authorized service.

Can I heat something other than water in the kettle?

No. The kettle is designed only for boiling water. Any other use may damage the appliance and void the warranty.

Can the kettle be used without the base?

No. The kettle must always be used with the original base provided. The base ensures power supply and stability.

What to do if the power cord is damaged?

1. Connect the kettle only to a suitably earthed socket compatible with the parameters indicated in the instructions.

INTENDED USE

The C510 wireless kettle is intended for boiling water. It is fitted with the function of temperature control and hold (85 - 100^) . The capacity of the kettle allows to boil 0.5 - 1.7l of water. The maximum and minimum level of water is marked with the indicator (5).

OPERATION

All changes of settings are confirmed with audible signal.

Place the base of the appliance (6) on flat, stable and dry surface.

Excess cord may be kept inside the base. Make sure that the cord protrudes from the base (6) through the special groove to have the appliance stable.

Boil water 2-3 times and discard before the first use of the kettle.

Fill in the appliance after opening the cover (2).

Do not fill in the kettle while on the base.

The kettle will be activated after pressing the button (A).

Operation of the appliance is signaled with illumination of the jug (7).

The kettle will be automatically turned off when the water is boiled.

The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (A).

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The kettle allows to warm up water to the pre-set temperature.

To select the required temperature of water (40^, 70^, 80^ or 90^) , press the button (B) to cause illumination of the relevant indicator on the panel (3).

Operation of the appliance is signaled with illumination of the jug (7). Illumination color depends on the selected temperature.

When the preset temperature is reached, the kettle will turn off.

Note. Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.

The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (A).

TEMPERATURE HOLD - 85-100°C

Press the button (A) and hold it for 3 seconds.

Activation of the function will be signalled with flashing indicator and illumination of the jug (7). The kettle will hold the temperature (85 - 100^) for 2 hours, and then it will automatically turn off. Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning,
• do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up,
• the outside of the kettle may be wiped over with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid,
• water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moisten with white vinegar; rinse the inside with water afterwards,
• limescale should be removed in the following way:
• fill the kettle with 0.75 litre of water and bring it to boil,
• switch the kettle off and disconnect the kettle from the power supply,
• pour 0.1 litre of white vinegar into the kettle,
• allow to stand overnight,
• discard the solution and rinse the inside with water,
• fill the kettle with 1 litre of water and bring to boil,
• discard the water and rinse the inside with water,
• no timely removal of the scale from the heating element results in the heating element's quicker wear,
• any damage resulting from applying harsh descending products available in the market are not covered by the producer's warranty,
• if the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced only by an especially constructed one (with appropriate plugs and endings).
