How to charge the Body Sculpt LY4000 device?

Use only the supplied charger (ref. 1002). Connect the charging cable to the device and to a power outlet. The battery indicator shows the charge status. Close the cover after charging.

Can I use the device in the shower or bath?

Yes, the device is waterproof and can be used underwater. However, never charge the device near water and do not immerse the charger.

How long should each area be massaged?

We recommend 5 minutes per zone (thighs, buttocks, stomach, arms) daily for 1 month, then one maintenance session per week.

The device stops during use, what should I do?

Check the battery charge and release the pressure on the skin. The device has a safety feature that cuts the motor in case of excessive pressure. It restarts automatically after release.

Can I use the device on my face or eyes?

No, use the device only on the body, not on the face, eyes, head, or sensitive areas.

How to clean the device?

The silicone wheels can be detached and rinsed with warm water. The device can be cleaned under the tap, but never immerse the charger. Use a soft cloth, no corrosive products.

What are the contraindications for use?

Do not use on damaged, sunburned, or eczematous skin, or on varicose veins, moles. Avoid if pregnant, allergic to nickel, or taking steroids. Consult a doctor if in doubt.

Can the device be used by children?

No, the device must not be used by children. Persons with reduced abilities should be supervised or instructed. Children must not play with it.

How to recycle the device at end of life?

Fully discharge the battery, open the compartment with a tool, cut the connections and recycle the battery. Take the device to a collection point or authorized service center.

Can I use creams or oils with the device?

Yes, apply an anti-cellulite body treatment before the massage. Do not use essential oils, homemade cosmetics, corrosive products, or medical creams.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

For your safety, this appliance complies with the applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental...).

As an additional safety measure, we recommend the installation of a residual current difference device in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom, acting at not more than 30 mA. Ask your installer for advice.

Your device should be used only for domestic use. It could not be used for professional purpose. Warranty become null and void if used wrongly.

Only the device is suitable for cleaning under an open water tap. Detach the hand-held part from the supply cord before cleaning it in water. Do not charge the device near water and outdoors and never immerse into liquids or wet the charger. Please select a dry location. Never use the dishwasher to clean your device. Please do not use corrosive products for cleaning (alcohol, vinegar...)

Massager only, with its massage head, can be used in bath or shower.

Before any use, please ensure that the product and accessories have any defect. If your device is damaged or shows any defect, don't use it anymore. If your appliance fall down and works abnormally after, don't use it and contact after sales service. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Detachable supply unit

WARNING: For the purpose of recharging the battery, only use the supply unit and base 1002 provided with this appliance. For an optimal charge, the device should be correctly inserted into the base. Make sure your appliance is in accordance with the supply network of your country. Don't unplug the cord by cord pulling but by plug pulling. Don't use Electrical extension cord.

FORBIDDEN USE

When the device is on, it must not come into contact with eyelashes, hair, clothing, or any other object, in order to avoid any risk of injury or blockage of the device.

Do not use on head and hair must be worn in such a way that they cannot become entangled in moving parts.

In order to avoid irritation, be careful to not use any other exfoliating and aggressive products such as scrubs, alcohol, clay...

This appliance is a skincare appliance, not a medical device. If you are on medication or if you suffer from medical problems, please contact your doctor before using our appliance. Make sure to use the device only on your body, not on eyes or face. Always use the device in motion on your skin.

Do not use the appliance:

• With homemade cosmetics, essential oils, medical creams and corrosive products
  – on damaged and sun burned skin
• on unhealthy skin
  – on areas which may present a health hazard (varicose veins, moles, birthmarks)
• if you suffer from skin conditions and diseases such as eczema, inflammation...
• If you are allergic to some metals (nickel)
• If you take steroids or photosensitive substances
• If you are pregnant*

Please stop using the appliance in case of allergy, irritation, redness or if you feel pain or any signs of discomfort. If you wear piercings on the areas to be treated, please take them off before using the device. Take care to not use the device next to those areas. If you wear jewelry near treated areas, remove it before use.

After charging, remember to close the power connector cover.

Massaging silicon wheels can be removed from the device and should be rinsed under lukewarm water.

BEFORE FIRST USE

You have purchased the Rowenta Body Sculpt Massager.

This device was designed to enhance your silhouette and reduce cellulite. This device provides an effective massage that reduces dimpling and firms the skin in the thighs, buttocks, belly, and arms areas.

It has a set of 4 wheels that perform a rotational movement (2 speeds). Massage helps to naturally de-stock the fat that causes cellulite, for smoother skin and a refined silhouette.

Before first use, fully charge the battery.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Apply your anti-cellulite skincare product

Switch on the device by pressing the "power" button. Start with speed 1 and increase it according to your sensitivity to the massage.

Hold the massager firmly and move it with circular movements (refer to the pictograms below). We recommend a use 5 min per area (thighs, buttocks, belly and arms) daily for 1 month, then one maintenance session per week the following months.

Your device is waterproof and can be used underwater.

We recommend recharging your device after each use

IN CASE OF ANY ISSUE

Your device shuts down during use:

- Check that the battery charge level is sufficient.

- Check that you do not apply too much pressure to the skin in use. For safety reasons, the device is fitted to stop the device if the pressure is too high for too long. The product should restart automatically when the pressure is released.

For any other reason, return your device to a service center.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION FIRST

Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.

Recycling the batteries:

Before removing the LI-ION batteries, discharge them

completely. Open the battery compartment using a tool, cut all the connections and then recycle the batteries in a safe manner.
