The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

4. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children

1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant and splash-proof surface where it cannot fall off.

heater. Ensure the pot sits firmly on the heating base before operation. The fondue button and grill button are set at position “O”.

3. Put the hot pot with soup or water on the heating base and turn slightly to fit the bottom of the pot to the

surface of the heating base. Fill only 70% full when cooking to avoid spillage which may result in electric hazard.

4. Fill the cooking pot with soup or water before placing on the heating base. The grill pan must sit on the

“flat-topped” tapered heater. Keep the “flat-topped” tapered heater dry.

5. Connect the power cord fully into the heating base socket first, and then plug into an appropriate

electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.

6. Fondue/ Hotpot function: Press the fondue button to position “I” = low temperature setting / “II” = high

temperature setting to turn on the fondue function. The fondue indicator light will illuminate. Note: Heat the broth for about 20 minutes if cold. If you have prepared the broth on the stove and it is still hot, this time is reduced accordingly.

7. Grill function: Press the grill button to position “I” to turn on the grilling function. The grill indicator light

will illuminate. Before filling cooking oil, please let the grill plate dry up for a moment. Note: During grilling, do not cover with lid. Otherwise, the lid knob temperature will be too hot to handle.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning the appliance, make sure you remove the plug from the mains socket. Allow it to cool

down completely. Note: Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquids.

2. Clean the pot and the glass lid with water and sponge.

3. Wipe clean the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not wash the heating base in water.

4. Dry well before storage.

5. All non-electrical parts are dishwasher safe.
