How to properly inflate the CRIVIT IAN 361428 inflatable mattress?

First inflate the main air chamber, then the arch. Use a foot pump or double-action pump with the appropriate adapter. Do not use a compressor. Open the flap of the upper valve (fig. A), inflate until chambers are firm, then close the flap and push in the valve.

What is the maximum weight supported by this mattress?

The maximum authorized weight is 100 kg. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damaging the product and compromising its buoyancy.

Can I use this mattress in a public pool or at sea?

No, this mattress is only intended for use in pools. It is not suitable for sea, lakes, or rivers due to currents and waves.

How to repair a leak or hole on the mattress?

Use the provided patch. Completely deflate the mattress, clean and dry the area around the leak. Cut a piece of patch extending about 1.3 cm beyond the damaged area, remove the protective film, press firmly and wait 20 minutes before re-inflating. Do not apply on seams.

How to store the mattress out of season?

Store it deflated, dry, clean and at room temperature. Make sure the valves are closed. Avoid placing sharp objects on it. Do not use talc. Clean only with water or soapy water.

Can the mattress be used by children?

No, this product is not suitable for children aged 0 to 14 years. It is intended for adults who can swim. Children must be supervised constantly near water.

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

The air chambers can be pushed below the water surface during ascending.

Due to this reason and as well as due to single-sided loading the product can tilt.

Risk of injury!

• Use the device only for its intended purpose.
• The product may only be used by persons who are familiar with the safety information.
• Please take note of the maximum highest load. Exceeding the weight limit can lead to product damages as well as influence the functions negatively.
• Check the product for damages or wear before each use. The product may only be used while in good order and condition! Do not use the product if visual damages can be seen or are suspected.
• Do not use the product anymore if it can no longer constrain air.

Avoiding damage to the product!

• All inflatable products are sensitive to the cold. The product should thus never be unfolded and inflated at temperatures below 15 °C!

• If air pressure increases in direct sunlight, it should be adjusted correspondingly by releasing some of the air.

• Please ensure that the product – particularly when it is inflated – is not brought into contact with stones, gravel or sharp objects and that it does not chafe or rub against anything, as damages to the foil could otherwise occur.

• Only insert suitable pump adapters into the safety valves. Otherwise the valves could become damaged.
• Do not inflate too strongly, as this could cause the welded seams to burst open. Seal the valves tightly after inflating.
• Avoid contact with sharp, hot, pointed or dangerous objects.
• WARNING! Avoid the use of sunscreen and skin care products containing alcohol. Sunscreen and skin care products containing alcohol may dissolve the colour coating of the inflatable PVC items. This can lead to discolouration on your body, your clothing, or on other objects which come into contact with the product.

Inflating

ATTENTION!

• All air chambers must always be completely inflated!
• Avoid excessively inflating the air chambers as this could cause the welded seams to overstretch or even burst open.
• Use standard foot pumps or double-action hand pumps with the correct adapters to inflate the product.
• Do not inflate the product with compressors or compressed air bottles. This could damage the product.
  • Make sure that the chambers are equally filled with air one after the other.
• Only inflate the chambers enough such that they are still slightly wavy on the inside after being inflated.

Inflate the air chambers in the following sequence:

1. • main chamber
2. • bow-shaped headrest

3. Open the respective upper valve cap (fig. A).

4. Inflate the main chamber first and then the headrest until the product is firm enough.
5. Close the respective valve cap and apply light pressure to depress the valve.

Deflation

To deflate quickly open the respective lower valve cap (fig. B.).

Repair

Small leaks or holes can be rectified using the enclosed repair patch.

Important! After repairing this product, do not inflate it for at least 20 minutes! Do not use the patch for leaks or holes on the seam.

1. Let all the air escape from the product.
2. Clean the area around the leak thoroughly! This area must be dry and free of grease or oil.
3. Cut off a piece of the repair patch, which is approx. 1.3cm larger in diameter than the damaged area.
4. Pull the patch off of the paper and place it on the damaged area and press down firmly.

Storage, cleaning

When not in use, always store the product clean, dry and uninflated at room temperature. The valves should always be closed during storage. Use only water or soapy water to clean.

When storing for the winter do not put any sharp objects on the product and do not apply talcum powder.

IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents.

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations.

Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.

Dispose of the products and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

The recycling code is used to identify various materials for recycling. The code consists of the recycling symbol – which is meant to reflect the recycling cycle – and a number which identifies the material.

Notes on the guarantee and service handling

The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty.
