How to light the PHE 86 cooker?

Open the gas supply at the bottle regulator. Press and turn the control knob to PILOT. Press the button fully and hold it for 60 seconds. Press the piezo ignition button until you hear a regular click. The pilot light ignites. Release the button after ignition, then turn to HI and hold for 5 minutes before adjusting the desired temperature.

How to turn off the appliance?

Turn the control knob to PILOT, then press and turn to the OFF position. Close the gas supply at the bottle regulator.

What types of gas can I use?

Use only butane (pressure 28-30 mbar) or propane (pressure 37 mbar). Propane is recommended for cold temperatures. Use the appropriate regulator for the pressure.

WARNING: DO NOT COVER THE APPLIANCE. To avoid overheating, never cover the heater.

• Do not place the appliance near furniture, fabric, curtains, bedding, or other flammable materials, as this may cause a fire.
• The appliance must not be used in basements, bathrooms or bedrooms of residential buildings.
• The protective grille on this appliance is intended to prevent fire or burn hazards, and no part should be permanently removed. IT DOES NOT COMPLETELY PROTECT CHILDREN OR DISABLED PERSONS.
• This appliance must be connected using a regulator and a flexible hose. Consult your supplier.

- The LPG cylinder used in your patio heater must meet the following specifications: Cylinder with a maximum diameter of 30.5 ~cm , a maximum height of 57.1 ~cm , and a maximum weight of 23 ~kg . - In strong winds, take precautions to prevent the heater from tipping over or falling.

- The use of this device in enclosed spaces may be dangerous and is prohibited.

• The general gas system, hose, regulator, fitting, connections and burner must be inspected for leaks or damage before use, and at least before each season of use.
• Check that the regulator and rubber tube are properly installed with the clamps.
• Turn off the gas supply to the cylinder when the stove is not in use.

• If you smell gas:

• Turn off the stove and close the gas cylinder.

POSITION AND LOCATION

This heater is for outdoor use only and is covered. Make sure it has sufficient ventilation.

Maintain a safe distance between the stove and combustible materials. Recommended: 100 cm (top) and 100 cm (side) minimum. The stove should be placed on firm, level ground.

To protect the stove from strong winds, secure the base to the ground with screws.

GAS CHARACTERISTICS

Use only butane or propane. We strongly recommend using propane, as it has a lower freezing point, making it suitable for outdoor appliances. The regulator and rubber hose with clamps must comply with the current

regulations of each country. Installation must comply with local regulations. In the absence of these regulations, it must be carried out in accordance with the standard for storage and use of Liquefied Petroleum Gases. A cracked, rusted, or damaged cylinder can be dangerous and should be checked by the manufacturer or supplier. Never use a cylinder with a damaged valve.

LEAK TEST

The stove's gas connections have been pre-tested by the manufacturer prior to shipment. A safety check must be performed during installation at the place of use to prevent loosening of parts due to shipping. Make a soapy solution of one part water and one part soap. The soapy solution can be applied with a spray bottle, a brush, or a rag. Soap bubbles will appear in the event of a leak. The stove must be tested with a full cylinder. Ensure the control is in the off position. Turn on the gas supply to the regulator. In the event of a leak, turn off the gas supply to the regulator. Tighten the connections with the appropriate clamps. Turn the gas supply back on to check again. Repeat until the leak disappears. Do not smoke during the leak test.

USE OF THE STOVE

1. START-UP

1. Open the gas supply to the cylinder regulator.
2. Press and turn the control knob to the PILOT position (90° counterclockwise).
3. Push the control knob all the way in and hold for 60 seconds. Press the ignition button while holding it down until you hear a steady click. Repeat until the pilot light ignites. Note: If you have just changed the cylinder, hold the control knob in the PILOT position for at least one minute to bleed air from the gas lines. The control knob can be released after the pilot light is lit.

If the pilot light does not light or goes out, repeat step 3.

1. After lighting the pilot light, turn the control knob to the maximum position and hold for 5 minutes or more before turning the control knob to the desired temperature position.

2. TURN OFF THE STOVE

1. Turn the control knob to the PILOT position.
2. Press and turn the control knob to the off position.

Off: Off.

3. CLOSE THE GAS PASSAGE OF THE CYLINDER REGULATOR.

STEP 1

There are two types of mounting options for the base of the appliance: one for fixed installation, which consists of the three E parts and the B screws, which can then be anchored to the floor (on a soft surface) using the three F parts; and another type of tool and anchors for a hard surface. There is also a mobile mounting option, which consists of wheels and C screws.

STEP 2

Use 4 screws A to screw the cylindrical housing to the base.

Place the guards on the burner. Use the cap nut D to secure them in position.

Place the cylinder inside the cylindrical housing and connect the gas regulator. Secure the cylinder with the strap inside the housing to prevent it from tipping over.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean dust from surfaces with a mild cloth. Do not use corrosive or flammable cleaning products. Cover the stove with an optional cover when the stove is not in use.
