How to turn on the food warmer?

Press the power buttons for the heated zones (D and E). The buttons light up and the zones use the previous settings by default.

How to adjust the temperature?

Use the temperature adjustment buttons (H) to select a level from 1 to 9. The setting applies to both zones simultaneously.

What is the maximum temperature reached?

The maximum temperature is 200°F (93.3°C). Do not place anything that could be damaged at this temperature.

Can I heat food directly on the shelf?

No, this unit is designed only for holding pre-cooked plated foods. Do not place food directly on the shelf.

Can I use an extension cord?

No, do not use an extension cord or power strip. Plug the unit directly into a grounded outlet.

How to clean the unit?

Unplug and let cool. Clean with a damp cloth and soapy water, rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. Never use steel wool or caustic products.

What to do if the unit does not heat but the panel is lit?

Check the USB cable connection between the control panel and the power supply box. If the problem persists, contact Vollrath technical support.

The control panel does not light up, what to do?

Make sure the unit is plugged into a correct voltage outlet and on its own circuit. Also check the USB cable connections. If nothing works, contact support.

Tip: To extend the duration at which food shield at optimal holding temperatures, use a Vollrath heat strip in conjunction with the heated shelf.

1. Presstheheatzone(s) powerbuttonstoturnontheheated-shelf. Thebutton(s) willilluminate. Theheatzonesetting(s) willdefaultto thesettingsfromtheprevioususe.
2. Presstheheatcontrolbutton(s)toselectaheatsetting. Note: Theheatsettingwillapplytobothzones.
