Frequently Asked Questions - COHHH00BK ELECTROLUX

How to use the Moist fan cooking function?
Turn the cooking modes knob to Moist fan cooking. Select a temperature with the control knob. This function saves energy and is suitable for cooking multiple dishes simultaneously without flavor transfer. For best results, follow the cooking tables in the manual.
How to clean the oven door?
Remove the door: open it fully, lift the latches, then close halfway and lift to remove. Place the door on a soft cloth, rotate the fixings 90° and remove the inner glass panel. Clean the glass with soapy water and a soft cloth, then reassemble in reverse order.
How to replace the lighting bulb?
Turn off the oven and unplug it. Place a cloth at the bottom of the cavity. Turn the glass diffuser to remove it. Replace the bulb with a suitable bulb resistant to 300°C. Replace the diffuser.
What to do if the oven does not heat up?
Check that the fuse has not blown and that the end-of-cooking time is not activated (if set, the oven stops after that time). If the problem persists, contact an authorized after-sales service.
How to set the end-of-cooking time?
Set the oven function and temperature. Turn the timer knob to its maximum position, then turn it to set the desired stop time. An audible signal sounds and the oven turns off automatically.
How to activate the child lock?
This appliance may be equipped with a child safety device. We recommend activating it to prevent use by children. Consult the manual for the exact procedure (not detailed here, but generally via a combination of knobs).
What accessories are supplied with the oven?
The oven is supplied with a metal grid, a roasting pan, a baking tray and a drip pan. Use them as instructed in the manual.
How to save energy with this oven?
Use the Moist fan cooking function which reduces consumption. Do not preheat unnecessarily, open the door as little as possible, and turn off the oven 3 to 10 minutes before the end of cooking to benefit from residual heat. Use metal dishes for better conductivity.
What to do if the door seal is damaged?
If the door seal is damaged, do not use the oven as it may cause heat loss and risks. Contact an authorized after-sales service immediately to have it replaced.
How to install the oven in a cabinet?
Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Observe the built-in dimensions: minimum height 580 mm, width 560 mm, depth 550 mm. Ensure ventilation (opening 560x20 mm). Fix the oven with the supplied mounting screws (4x25 mm).

10. HINTS AND TIPS

ELECTROLUX COHHH00BK - HINTS AND TIPS - 1

Refer to Safety chapters.

10.1 Cooking recommendations

The oven has four shelf positions.

Count the shelf positions from the bottom of the oven floor.

Your oven may bake or roast differently to the oven you had before.

Baking cakes

Do not open the oven door before 3/4 of the set cooking time is up.

If you use two baking trays at the same time, keep one empty level between them.

Cooking meat and fish

Use a deep pan for very fatty food to prevent the oven from stains that can be permanent.

Leave the meat for approximately 15 minutes before carving so that the juice does not seep out.

To prevent too much smoke in the oven during roasting, add some water into the

deep pan. To prevent the smoke condensation, add water each time after it dries up.

Cooking times

Cooking times depend on the type of food, its consistency, and volume.

Initially, monitor the performance when you cook. Find the best settings (heat setting, cooking time, etc.) for your cookware, recipes and quantities when you use this appliance.

Use the dark and non-reflective tins and containers. They have better heat absorption than the light colour and reflective dishes.
