TODDLERS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please keep children away from the product at all times. This product is not a toy and should not be played by children. Children are not able to understand the dangers that can occur when handling this product. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand

he hazards involved. Children shall not play w ith the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Avoid the danger of death from electric shock! Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operating voltage for the product (230–240 V∼). Before connecting to the mains, always check the product for any damage. Never use the product if you find damage of any kind. The power cable cannot be repaired! If the power cable is damaged, the product must be taken out of use and disposed of in the proper way. This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced. The LEDs are not replaceable. If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced. Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of object into them. Do not open or cut the LED rope light

Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces. Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails. Always remove the mains plug from the socket before installing, dismantling or cleaning. Never touch the mains plug or the LED rope light

with wet hands. CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! The LEDs in the product have a power input of

0.06 W each. This wattage not only produces

light, but also heat. Do not operate the LED rope light

in the packaging or when it is rolled u p.12 GB/IE Ensure the product is mounted to provide ade- quate heat-circulation. Do not cover the product with blankets, cushions, or similar heat insulating materials. Use the product only with the parts described in this instruction manual. If the LED rope light

is not to be used for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the power supply. Keep away from ponds and other water reservoirs. Install the LED rope light

at least 2 metres away from water containers. Avoid place that might flood after heavy rainfall. If using the LED rope light

outdoors, make sure it is connected to a socket which is protected with a faulty voltage protection switch (FI or RCD) for a maximum faulty voltage up to 30 mA. The LED rope light

is protected against splashes of water (IP44) as long as the socket meets the minimum protection standard. Make sure the LED rope light

is not laid down in areas where lawn mowers, trimmers, scissors or similar cutting tools are used. Do not pull the LED rope light

and make sure it is laid down properly so that no one walks or trips over it. If in any doubt about the safe installation or use of this product, please consult a qualified electrician. Installation safety instructions Make sure that the product is only installed by competent persons. The LED rope light

can be installed on all normally inflammable surfaces with the enclosed mounting parts. CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Make sure that there are no power, gas or water lines located where you wish to drill. Check with a cable and pipe locator if necessary before you begin drilling. Before installation, check whether the surface is suitable for the mounting parts and the weight of the LED rope light

. If you are in any doubt, consult an electrical specialist for advice. Do not use sharp and / or pointed objects such as wire, nails or fasteners for mounting. Do not attach any additional objects to the LED rope light

Avoid excessive bending of the LED rope light

. This can damage the insulation. The bending radius of the rope must not fall below the following value: rope diameter between 10–14 mm: 2 cm. Avoid excessive heating of the LED rope light

A maximum of two sections of rope may cross or run parallel to each other. Installation Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product before use. First, please unroll the product before use. Note: The LED rope light

can be mounted on all surfaces officially classified as being of “normal flammability” by means of the supplied attachments. Please fix the LED rope light

on the desired surface and fix the product by attaching it with the help of the included cable ties

Alternatively, you can also mount the product by using the included attachment clips

. Firstly, place the attachment clips

in a sturdy sur face and fix them with the included screws

using a crosshead screwdriver. Once the req uired attachment clips

have been attached, you can press LED rope light

. You may further use the cable tie

to secure the LED rope light

onto the attachment clips

if need. Use Plug the mains plug into the socket. The lighting is switched on. Press the timer button

to switch to the next lighting mode. When you reach lighting mode 8, the next press of the button switches the product back into lighting mode 1.13 GB/IE The light mode is listed as below:

1. combination (combination of all lighting mode)

2. in wave (LED lighting flashing in changing

3. sequential (LED light up alternating)

4. Slo-Glo (LED slowly light up alternating)

5. chasing / flash (LED flash alternating)

6. slow fade (LED light up and fade out slowly)

8. steady on (all LED on)

and hold for 3 seconds after the product is connected to the socket of power supply. The timer button

will light up when the timer function is activated. The product lights glow permanently for 6 hours and will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again at its designated turn on time for 6 hours followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. To switch off the timer function, press the timer button

and hold for 3 seconds again and the light of the timer button

will be turned off. Whe

the timer function is switched off, the product glows continuously. Timer function can be acti- vated in the respective desired light mode (1–8)

To switch off the product completely, the mains plug has to be unplugged from the power socket. Cleaning and care

SHOCK! For reasons of electrical safety the product must never be cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water. Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the product. Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning. Storage You may roll the LED rope light

up with the wheel for storing when not in use. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable mate- rials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
