How to install the light garland?

Unpack the garland and remove all packaging. Attach it using the provided mounting staples or cable ties to a normally non-flammable surface. First screw the staples with a Phillips screwdriver, then snap the garland in place. Ensure you do not pierce any electrical cables or pipes.

How to use the timer function?

After plugging in the garland, press and hold the timer button (5) for 3 seconds to activate the timer. The button lights up. The product lights for 6 hours then switches off for 18 hours, repeating this cycle daily. To deactivate, press and hold the button again for 3 seconds.

How to change the lighting modes?

Briefly press the timer button (5) to cycle through the modes. There are 8 modes: combination, light waves, sequential, Slo-Glo, flashing, slow color change, twinkling, and steady on. After mode 8, pressing again returns to mode 1.

What to do if the garland does not light up?

First check that the plug is properly connected to a working mains socket (230-240 V~). Do not use the garland if it is damaged. The LEDs are not replaceable: if they are permanently out of order, replace the entire product.

Can I use this garland outdoors?

Yes, the garland is designed for indoor and outdoor use (IP44, protected against splashing water). Use it with a socket protected by a residual current circuit breaker (30 mA). Install it at least 2 m away from water points and avoid flood-prone areas.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No, the LEDs are integrated and cannot be replaced. If they reach the end of their life, the entire product must be disposed of and replaced.

How to clean the garland?

Always unplug the garland before cleaning. Use a dry, lint-free cloth. Never use water, solvents, or chemicals, as this could damage the product and pose a risk of electric shock.

What is the warranty period?

This product comes with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep the receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects, but not normal wear or damage due to improper use.

How to store the garland after use?

You can roll the LED garland onto the spool provided for storage. Make sure it is dry and clean before storing it in a dry place.

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!

Note: LED Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operating voltage for the product (230-240 V\~).

Before connecting to the mains, always check the product for any damage.
- Never use the product if you find damage of any kind.
The power cable cannot be repaired! If the power cable is damaged, the product must be taken out of use and disposed of in the proper way.
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced.
■ Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of object into them.
Do not open or cut the LED rope light 1.
- Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
- Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
■ Always remove the mains plug from the socket before installing, dismantling or cleaning.
■ Never touch the mains plug or the LED rope light 1 with wet hands.

CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING!

The LEDs in the product have a power input of 0.06 W each. This wattage not only produces light, but also heat.

Do not operate the LED rope light 1 in the packaging or when it is rolled up.

■ Ensure the product is mounted to provide adequate heat-circulation.
- Do not cover the product with blankets, cushions, or similar heat insulating materials.
■ Use the product only with the parts described in this instruction manual.
If the LED rope light 1 is not to be used for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the power supply.
- Keep away from ponds and other water reservoirs. Install the LED rope light 1 at least 2 metres away from water containers. Avoid place that might flood after heavy rainfall.
If using the LED rope light 1 outdoors, make sure it is connected to a socket which is protected with a faulty voltage protection switch (FI or RCD) for a maximum faulty voltage up to 30 mA.
The LED rope light 1 is protected against splashes of water (IP44) as long as the socket meets the minimum protection standard.
■ Make sure the LED rope light 1 is not laid down in areas where lawn mowers, trimmers, scissors or similar cutting tools are used.
Do not pull the LED rope light 1 and make sure it is laid down properly so that no one walks or trips over it.
If in any doubt about the safe installation or use of this product, please consult a qualified electrician.

• Installation safety instructions

■ Make sure that the product is only installed by competent persons.
The LED rope light 1 can be installed on all normally inflammable surfaces with the enclosed mounting parts.

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Make sure that there are no power, gas or water lines located where you wish to drill. Check with a cable and pipe locator if necessary before you begin drilling.
Before installation, check whether the surface is suitable for the mounting parts and the weight of the LED rope light 1. If you are in any doubt, consult an electrical specialist for advice.

• Do not use sharp and / or pointed objects such as wire, nails or fasteners for mounting.
• Do not attach any additional objects to the LED rope light 1.
• Avoid excessive bending of the LED rope light 1. This can damage the insulation.
  The bending radius of the rope must not fall below the following value: rope diameter between 10-14 mm: 2 cm.
• Avoid excessive heating of the LED rope light 1. A maximum of two sections of rope may cross or run parallel to each other.

●Installation

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product before use.

First, please unroll the product before use.

Note: The LED rope light 1 can be mounted on all surfaces officially classified as being of "normal flammability" by means of the supplied attachments.

☐ Please fix the LED rope light 1 on the desired surface and fix the product by attaching it with the help of the included cable ties 3.
□ Alternatively, you can also mount the product by using the included attachment clips 2. Firstly, place the attachment clips 2 in a sturdy surface and fix them with the included screws 4 by using a crosshead screwdriver. Once the required attachment clips 2 have been attached, you can press LED rope light 1 into the opening of attachment clips 2. You may further use the cable tie 3 to secure the LED rope light 1 onto the attachment clips 2 if need.

Use

☐ Plug the mains plug into the socket.
☐ The lighting is switched on.
☐ Press the timer button 5 to switch to the next lighting mode. When you reach lighting mode 8, the next press of the button switches the product back into lighting mode 1.

The light mode is listed as below:

1. combination (combination of all lighting mode)

2. in wave (LED lighting flashing in changing frequency)

3. sequential (LED light up alternating)

4. Slo-Glo (LED slowly light up alternating)

5. chasing / flash (LED flash alternating)

6. slow fade (LED light up and fade out slowly)

7. twinkle / flash (LED light up alternating like twinkle)

8. steady on (all LED on)

☐ To switch the product off, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

- Timer function

☐ To switch on the timer function, press the timer button 5 and hold for 3 seconds after the product is connected to the socket of power supply. The timer button 5 will light up when the timer function is activated.

The product lights glow permanently for 6 hours and will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again at its designated turn on time for 6 hours followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours.

☐ To switch off the timer function, press the timer button 5 and hold for 3 seconds again and the light of the timer button 5 will be turned off. When the timer function is switched off, the product glows continuously. Timer function can be activated in the respective desired light mode (1-8).

☐ To switch off the product completely, the mains plug has to be unplugged from the power socket.

- Cleaning and care

water or other liquids or immersed in water.

- Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the product.

Storage

☐ You may roll the LED rope light 1 up with the wheel for storing when not in use.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibre-board / 80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
