How to install the lanterns on the string?

Place the lantern with the eyelet facing up. Insert the lantern tensioner so that the end without wire goes through the upper then lower opening. Press the tensioner arms onto the edge of the lower opening. Pull the eyelets upward and hook them into the holders.

How to use the timer function?

After plugging in the product, press the timer button to activate it (the button lights up). The product turns on for 6 hours, then turns off for 18 hours, and repeats this cycle automatically. To deactivate, press the button again; the LEDs will stay on continuously.

Can I use this string outdoors?

Yes, the product is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It is protected against water splashes (IP44). Make sure the socket used offers at least the same protection rating.

What to do if the string doesn't light up?

Check that the mains socket works and the transformer is correctly plugged in. Make sure the screw connection between the string and the transformer is tight. If the problem persists, unplug and visually inspect the entire set for damage. If damaged, do not use the product and contact customer service.

Can I replace the LEDs if they burn out?

No, the LEDs cannot be replaced. If an LED fails, the entire product must be disposed of in accordance with regulations.

How to clean the string light?

First unplug the transformer from the socket. Clean only with a dry, lint-free cloth. Never use water, solvents, or chemicals.

What is the warranty period?

The product has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep the receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects, but not normal wear nor damage caused by improper use.

How to dispose of the product at end of life?

Do not dispose of the product in household waste. Take it to a collection point for electronic waste. Packaging materials are recyclable: sort them according to local regulations.

Can I connect multiple strings together?

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!

Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operating voltage for the product (100-240 V~).
Before connecting the product to the mains you should always check the light chain and the mains adapter for any damage.
Never use the product if you discover that it is damaged in any way.
This products external flexible wiring is nonreplaceable. Hence if it becomes damaged you must dispose of the entire product.
- Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of object into them.
- Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
Always unplug the power pack from the socket before installation, dismantling or cleaning.
- Never touch the product plug or the product itself with wet hands.
The product must not be electrically connected to another ligth chains.
If the product is not in use for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the power supply.

The light chain is protected against splashes of water (IP44) as long as the socket meets the minimum protection standard.

- Mounting the lampions (see Fig. B)

Lay down the lanterns 5 with the eyelets 6 (bigger openings) facing upwards (for model A and C). For model B both side of lantern is fine.
Insert the cordless end of the lantern stretcher into the lampion's upper and lower opening. While doing so place the the lantern stretcher's two arms 8 centrally onto the rim of the lower opening. For model B place the lower arms into the bottom eyelets of lantern.
Hold on to the lantern stretcher. Pull the eyelets upwards and hang them onto the hangers

Use

Insert the plug on end of the light chain 1 into the socket of the mains adapter 2.
Turn the connecting cap 4 of the mains lead clockwise to fix the connection.
Insert the mains adapter 2 into the mains socket. Immediately after plugging in, the LEDs light up permanently.
Please note that the power adapter continues to draw a small amount of power even if the product is turned off as long as the power adapter is plugged into a power outlet. To switch the product off completely, unplug the power adapter from the socket.

- Timer function

The timer button 10 has two functions:

To switch on the timer function, press the timer button 10 after the product is connected to the

socket of power supply. The timer button10 will light up when the timer function is activated.

The product glows permanently for 6 hours and will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again at its designated turn on time for 6 hours followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours.
To switch off the timer function, press the timer button 10 again and the light of the timer button 10 will be turned off. After switching off the timer function, the LEDs light up again permanently.
To switch the product off completely, unplug the power adapter from the socket.

- Cleaning and care

First pull the mains adapter out of the mains socket.

For reasons of electrical safety the product must never be cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water.

• Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the product.
  Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.
  □ After cleaning, plug the product back into the socket.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Warranty

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
