How to install the LED strip on my TV?

Make sure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Remove the protective film on the back of the LED strip, then firmly stick it to the back of the TV. Plug the USB connector into a free USB port. Use the cable holder to fix the infrared receiver.

Can I cut the LED strip to the desired length?

Yes, you can shorten the LED strip at the cut points indicated by a white line between the pads. Note: after cutting, the removed piece cannot be reconnected. Make sure to cut at the correct spot.

How to turn the LED strip on and off?

Use the provided infrared remote control: press the ON button to turn on and OFF to turn off. The LED strip also lights up as soon as the USB connector is plugged in.

What color modes are available?

With the remote control, you can choose between fixed colors Red, Green, Blue, White, as well as dynamic modes: Flash (fast change), Strobe (slow), Fade (slow fade) and Smooth (continuous fade).

How to replace the remote control battery?

Press the unlocking lever to remove the battery compartment. Replace the used battery with a new CR2025 (3 V) battery, observing polarity. Reinsert the compartment into the remote control.

What to do if the LED strip does not light up?

Check that the USB connector is properly plugged into a functional USB port. Make sure the remote control battery is present and correctly inserted. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Is the LED strip waterproof?

No, the LED strip has IP20 protection, it is designed only for indoor use in dry rooms. Avoid any contact with water or moisture.

Can I use this kit with a power adapter instead of the TV's USB port?

Yes, you can plug the USB connector into any standard USB power adapter (5 V), provided it supplies sufficient power (≥ 2.5 W).

How to clean the LED strip?

First disconnect the USB connector. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the strip. Never use solvents, gasoline, or abrasive products.

What to do if a remote control battery leaks?

Immediately remove the battery from the remote control. Avoid contact with skin or eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water and consult a doctor. Clean the contacts with a dry cloth.

domestic environment, not for commercial use. Any use other than that described above is prohibited and will result in product damage. It is further associated with dangers, e.g. short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock

- Check the LED strip for damage before every use. Never use the LED strip if any damage is detected.

WARNING! A damaged mains cable poses a risk of fatal injury from electrical shock. In the case of damage, repairs or other problems, please contact the service centre or a qualified electrician. The supply cable of this appliance cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the appliance must be disposed of. The appliance contains no parts which may be serviced by the consumer.

■ Make sure before use that the available supply voltage corresponds to the required operating voltage of the item (see "Technical Data").
■ Never allow the live power leads and contacts to come into contact with water or other liquids.
■ Never open any of the components of the electrical equipment or insert any objects into the same components. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.

- Do not install the lamp on damp or conductive surfaces.

This LED strip must not be connected electronically with other LED strips.

- Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.

- Do not secure with sharp staples or nails.

■ Disconnect the USB plug from the connected device before assembly, dismantling or cleaning.

■ Never touch the plug or the LED strip with wet hands.

■ Only use the individual parts supplied, otherwise all warranty claims will become invalid.

This item must not be connected with the power supply while it is still in its packaging provided that the packaging has not been adjusted for exhibition purposes. Lay out the item completely before you connect it to the device.

Prevent fire and injury hazards

This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
The lamp's light source is not replaceable, the entire light needs to be replaced if the light source reaches the end of its service life.
Do not look into the LED from a close distance during operation.
Do not look at the LED with an optical instrument (e.g. magnifier).

WARNING! Due to the extremely fast speed of light exchange, it could lead to eyesight impairments in children or disabled persons (e.g. due to mental illness).

Safe working

• Do not leave the LED strip or packaging material lying unattended. The packaging material presents a suffocation hazard and there is a risk of loss of life from strangulation.
• Install the light so that it is protected from dirt and excessive heating.
  ■ Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense. Never use the LED strip if you are having difficulty concentrating or do not feel well.
  Before use, familiarise yourself with all the instructions and diagrams in these instructions, as well as with the LED strip itself.
  To completely disconnect the LED strip from the power supply, the USB plug must be disconnected from the connected device.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries are not intended for children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention!

do not short-circuit and / or open batteries!

Never throw batteries into fire or water!

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries!

Risk of battery leakage

In the event of a battery leak, immediately remove it from the device to prevent damage!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes! In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention!

■ Remove the battery from the device if it will not be used for a prolonged period!

☐ Remove all packaging materials before first use.

Connecting the LED strip

The LED strip 1 may be connected individually.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! Disconnect the lights from the power supply before performing any work on the LED strip 1. To do this, remove the USB plug 3 from the USB connector.

☐ Connect the LED strip 1 using the plug-in connectors 2.

Initial use/Installing the .../Switching the LED .../Installing/replacing the battery

☐ Choose between a long connector or a direct connector.
☐ When connecting, the LED strip 1 pole marked "+" must be on the plug end of the plug-in connector 2 marked with the arrow. Ensure the correct polarity (+ G R B <-> + G R B) here.
□ Verify it is seated correctly.

Shortening the LED strip

The LED strip 1 may be trimmed to size.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK!

☐ Disconnect the lights from the power supply before performing any work on the LED strip 1.
☐ To do this, remove the USB plug 3 from the USB connector.
☐ Choose the desired LED strip length.

Note: Ensure that you cut the LED strip at the right place.

☐ The cutting point is the exact middle between the positive and negative poles and is always marked with a white line.
☐ Shorten the LED strip 1 using a pair of scissors.
☐ Be sure to cover the open end of the LED strip 1 with the adhesive strip before use.

⚠️CAUTION: After shortening the LED strip it may no longer be connected together.

- Installing the LED strip

Note: Ensure that the installation area is clean, grease-free and dry. Otherwise the functionality of the adhesive strip may be impaired.

Note: Ensure that a USB connector is located in close proximity to the installation area.

☐ Choose a suitable installation area.
☐ Remove the protective foil from the reverse side of the LED strip 1.
☐ Remove the protective foil from the reverse side of the cable hold 5.
☐ Stick the cable holder in the directed location.
☐ Stick the infrared diode into the cable holder.

☐ Stick the LED strip 1 with the adhesive strip onto the installation area and press it on firmly.
☐ Insert the USB plug 3 into the USB connector.

Your light is now ready to use.

- Switching the LED strip on / off with the remote control

Note: Position the infrared diode for the receiver so it can be controlled with the remote control 4 without obstructions.

Note: The range of the remote control is approx. 4 m.

☐ Remove the safety strip in the battery compartment before switching the light on.
☐ Press the ON button to switch the lamp on.
☐ Press the OFF button to switch the light off.

Choose from the following functions:

5 x G:	selects the desired colour
5 x B:	selects the desired colour
1 x W:	selects the desired colour
FLASH button:	rapid colour change

- Installing / replacing the battery (remote control)

Note: Please observe the imprint on the back of the remote control 4.

☐ Push in the release lever and pull out the battery compartment. Remove the spent battery, if necessary. Insert a new battery in the battery compartment. Only use type CR2025 3V batteries.
Note: Be sure to correctly insert the batteries (polarity). This is indicated on the remote control 4.

☐ Slide the battery compartment back into the remote control.

● Maintenance and Cleaning

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK! Disconnect the lights from the power supply before performing any work on the LED strip 1. To do this, remove the USB plug 3 from the USB connector.

- Do not use solvents, benzene or similar substances. They could damage the light.

☐ Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the LED strip 1.

- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibre-board / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Improper disposal of batteries can harm the environment!

Per Directive 2006 / 66 / EC and its amendments, defective or used batteries must be recycled. Return batteries and / or the product to the provided recycling facilities. Never dispose of batteries in your household bin. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.

● Warranty and Service

Warranty

You receive a 36 month warranty on this product, valid from the date of purchase. The appliance has been carefully produced under strict quality control. Within the warranty period we shall rectify without charge all material and manufacturing defects. In the event of a defect during the warranty period, please send the appliance to the listed Service Centre address, referencing the following item number: 14120005L.

Wear parts (such as bulbs) and damage caused by improper handling, non-observance of the operating instructions or unauthorised interference are excluded from the warranty. The performance of services under the warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period.
