How to turn on the Auna Streetstar 12 system?
Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel (mark 23) or on the remote control. The device turns on and the operation LED lights up.
How to connect my smartphone via Bluetooth?
Press the MODE button on the panel several times until AUX is displayed (Bluetooth is activated). On your smartphone, search for Bluetooth devices and select AUNA. If a code is requested, enter 0000.
How to charge the battery for the first use?
Plug the provided mains cable into a 220-240 V socket and into the mains input (mark 24). Let it charge for at least 8 hours (the charge LED turns off when the battery is full). For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use.
How to use the supplied wireless microphones?
Insert an AA battery into each microphone by unscrewing the compartment (respect polarity). Turn on the system then turn on each microphone with the switch. Adjust the microphone volume with the VOL MIC buttons (mark 16) and the wireless microphone volume with the UHF button (mark 8).
The orange microphone operates at 863.1 MHz, the blue microphone at 864.5 MHz.
What to do in case of microphone feedback (squealing)?
Reduce the microphone volume or move the microphone away from the speaker. You can also lower the treble (TREBLE button, mark 3) or decrease the echo level (ECHO button, mark 6). Avoid pointing the microphone directly at the speaker.
How to adjust the microphone echo effect?
Turn the ECHO knob (mark 6) on the front panel. Turn right to increase the echo intensity, left to decrease it. This effect is ideal for karaoke.
How to play music from a USB flash drive?
Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port (mark 21). Use the MODE button to select USB mode. Playback starts automatically. Use the playback buttons (play/pause, next, previous) to control the music.
Note: The USB port does not allow playback from a PC or phone.
What is the Talkover function for?
The Talkover function (mark 13) automatically reduces the music volume when you speak into the microphone. Set the switch to ON for announcements, or OFF for karaoke or singing.

GETTING STARTED

First use / charging the battery

This device is equipped with a with a rechargeable battery. The battery will be charged automatically as soon as the device is connected to power. After recharging, the device switches to trickle charging. However, do not leave the device constantly connected to a socket. Turning off the device via remote control switches it to standby mode, which consumes more power than switching it completely off at the panel of the appliance.

ATTENTION: Before first use, fully charge the battery for at least 8 hours. Only after having charged the battery for 3 times, the battery reaches its full capacity.

Charge the battery before and after each usage for a lasting battery performance.

When the device is turned off with the remote control, it is still in standby mode and uses more power than when you turn the device off completely. Be sure to fully charge the internal battery of the device before your first mobile use (without grid power).

Connect the device to an ordinary wall socket via power adapter. The charging time is about 5-8 hours. The state of charge is indicated by the LED ("CHARGE") on the back. The LED will got out when the battery is fully charged.

Bluetooth

  1. Set the search function of the Bluetooth unit from which you wish to play the music.
  2. Press the MODE key until AUX is shown in the display. Activate the Bluetooth function of the media player.
  3. Select the Bluetooth device "AUNA" from the list of your device and make a connection.

If there is a password to be used, enter "0000".

Putting into Operation

Unscrew the battery cover on the lower part of the microphone. Insert 2 batteries and mind the polarity.

Set the volume to the minimum. Power the system on so that the power LED lights up. Switch the microphone on and set the volume control to the desired position.

Use

Check for microphone feedback (howling). Reduce the treble signal. If the problem still occurs, reduce the speakers or move the audio system. Do not hold the microphone near the speakers.
