USER MANUAL CH111017 Emerio
Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the box) must be fitted to the unit. These are to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.
1. Read and save these instructions. Attention: pictures in the
IM are for reference only.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
5. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
6. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way- 3 - and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
7. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very
hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
8. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
9. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications.

15. Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or
the air intake openings of the heater.
16. Do not place the heater on carpets with a very deep pile.
17. Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level
surface. Ensure that the heater is not positioned close to curtains or furniture as this could create a fire hazard.
18. The heater must not be located immediately below a
intake grilles of the heater.
20. Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids
are stored or where flammable fumes may be present.
21. Particular care should be taken when the heater is
situated in areas occupied by children or disabled persons.- 4 -
22. Always unplug the heater when moving it from one
location to another.
23. Do not use the heater if the power cord is damaged.
24. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a
bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

2. Power switch (750W; 1250W; 2000W)
Note: When the heater is turned on for the first time, or when it is turned on after a longer period of storage, it is normal that the heater may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while. et the thermostat to the minimal position and insert the plug to the power supply. Turn on the power switch: 750W, 1250W, 2000W. Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction to the max position. Once the room temperature has reached the desired value, turn the thermostat knob slowly in anti- clockwise direction until you hear a "click" sound; this is the setting temperature. The appliance will automatically maintain the setting temperature. It will switch on when the room temperature is below the setting, and switch off if it is above the setting.
CONVECTOR HEATER WITH THERMOSTAT AND FAN
This heater incorporates an internal fan, to be switched independent from the heating elements. Press the switch to turn on the fan. The fan will only operate with the thermostat in the on position. It can be used when the heating elements are on to blow warm air into the room. In warm conditions the fan can be used with the heating elements off to blow cool air into the room.
Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to penetrate the heater.

Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
