USER MANUAL Teddytour Foppapedretti

1. Remove the cot from the carry bag and undo the Velcro fasteners at the side of the base.

2. Open out the frame by extending the legs.

3. First pull up the hinge locks on the short sides unl they snap into place and then repeat with the ones on the

long sides. Make sure the hinges are locked into place. The long and short sides must not bend when they are pressed down.

3. NOTE: to facilitate fastening of the side joints, make sure the boom of the cot has been raised.

4. Press the central part of the cot down, a click will indicate that it has been successfully locked into place.

IMPORTANT: the base of the cot must not be pushed down unl the rails are locked into place, as the base forms the safety lock. The arms will not lock into place when the safety lock is engaged; in that case, you will need to pull up the base and lock the arms again.

6. Place the maress on the boom of the cot, insert the strips through the slots, present on the base, and aach

the Velcro to the underside of the base to x the maress in place. NOTE: Before using the cot, make sure that the 4 sides are correctly fastened and that the boom is in the horizontal posion. CLOSING

1. First remove the maress and li the central part of the cot as high as possible by pulling the strap (A) raise the

central part to about 10 cm below the lateral sides.

2. Press buon (A) on each side to release the locking device, posioned at the middle of the side and keeping it

pressed, gently li the side to release the locking device. While sll holding the buon (A), fold the side toward the base.

3. Fold the cot and wrap the maress around it. Secure with the Velcro fasteners.

4. Place the cot in the bag.

  • WARNING! The cot must only be assembled by an adult.
  • IMPORTANT: To assemble the cot correctly, carry out the assembly operaons in the order shown. Incorrect assembly could make the cot unsafe.
  • WARNING: The cot is intended for use for children aged between birth up to 4 years of age.
  • WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open re and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar res, gas res, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
  • WARNING! Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
  • WARNING! Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suocaon or strangulaon, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords.
  • WARNING: Do not use more than one maress in the cot.
  • The product is ready for use only when the locking mechanisms are engaged. Make sure they are securely engaged before use.
  • All assembly ngs should always be ghtened properly. Check them regularly and ghten if necessary.
  • WARNING: To avoid a risk of falling, the cot must not be used when baby can climb out of it.
  • WARNING: Only use the maress sold with this cot, do not add a second maress on this one, suocaon hazards.
  • WARNING: Do not use the travel cot without the maress.
  • WARNING: Do not close the cot when the child is inside the cot.
  • WARNING: Never place the cot onto a sloped surface with your child inside.
  • Do not let the child play unaended near the travel cot.
  • Regularly check that the travel cot does not have any loose screws, worn pieces, or fabric that is torn or has become unstched.
  • With proper use and maintenance the cot will be longer lasng and safe to use.
  • Check the cot and maress support regularly to make sure that all the parts are correctly assembled and in perfect condion.
  • WARNING! When folded store away from children.
  • WARNING: Do not move the product when baby is in the cot.
  • WARNING: Do not place more than one child at a me into the cot.

Never wash the travel cot with corrosive products that contain or are derived from ammonia, bleach or alcohol. The movable parts can be lubricated with silicone-based oil.

  • ENGLISH • • ENGLISH • FORMAL GUARANTEE The contents of this document as stated below will come into eect as from 01.01.2005 and replace, on every account and in full, any previous message referring to the guarantee provided by Foppa Pedre S.p.A. FORMAL GUARANTEE Foppa Pedre S.p.A. the head oce of which is located at n. 11 Via Volta, Grumello del Monte (Italy), guarantees directly to the Consumer that this brand new product is free of faults with regard to the materials, design and manufacture and that it complies with the characteriscs as declared by the manufacturer. This formal guarantee is valid in all Member Countries of the European Union and it neither excludes nor limits the Consumer’s rights in accordance with mandatory measures provided for by the law with regard to the Retailer of the Product. To take advantage of this formal guarantee, the Consumer must return the faulty product to the Retailer, presenng to the same the proof of purchase of the Product which must clearly show the Retailer’s address, the date of purchase of the Product with the Retailer’s stamp and signature and an indicaon of the Product itself or, alternavely, the receipt which must not have been altered and which must clearly show the same informaon as that referred to above. The formal guarantee is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase of the Product. During this period, Foppa Pedre S.p.A. will repair or replace the faulty product, at its own discreon. The formal guarantee is granted to the end buyer of the Product (Consumer) and it neither excludes nor limits the mandatory rights of the Consumer as provided for by the law and/ or the rights that the Consumer may have with regard to the Dealer/ Retailer of the Product. EXCLUSIONS TO THE FORMAL GUARANTEE. The formal guarantee is excluded in the case of damage caused to the Product for the following reasons: if the product is used in a way that does not comply with the informaon contained in the use and assembly instrucon sheet, if the product is knocked or dropped, if the Product is exposed to humidity or extreme heat or environmental condions, or to sudden changes in the same, corrosion, oxidizaon, unauthorized alteraons or repairs to the Product, repairs using unauthorised spare parts, improper use, improper maintenance or failure to carry out the same, improper maintenance compared to the informaon given on the use and assembly instrucon sheet, incorrect assembly, accidents, damage caused by food or drink, damage caused by chemical products, cases of force majeure. In any case, Foppa Pedre S.p.A. declines all responsibility for damage caused to persons or to property, other than the Product, when such damage is caused by a failure to comply with the instrucons/advice/warnings cont a ined in the manua l or, alternavely, in the use and assembly instrucon sheet provided with each Product for the owner/user. (Purely as an example, in the case of a cot : “Check your baby constantly. Make sure that the sheets and blankets do not cover the baby’s head…”). Furthermore, Foppa Pedre S.p.A. declines all responsibility for damage to persons and to property when the breakage of its products is due to a deterioraon in the components of the Product that are subject to wear.
