Tools Needed: ■ #2 Philips Screwdriver Beverage Cooler Use Requirements ■ Intended for use in a garage. ■ Maximum weight limit is 200 lbs (91 kg) for the top surface. ■ Maximum weight limit is 80 lbs (36 kg) for each shelf.4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Location Requirements WARNING Explosion HazardKeep flammable materials and vapors, such as gasoline, away from refrigerator.Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire.To ensure proper ventilation for your beverage cooler, allow for a 1/4" (6.35 mm) space on each side and at the top. When installing your beverage cooler next to a xed wall, leave 2½" (6.35 cm) minimum clearance on the hinge side to allow for the door to swing open. NOTE: It is recommended that you do not install the beverage cooler near an oven, radiator, or other heat source. Do not install in a location where the temperature will fall below 0°F (-17°C) or above 110°F (43°C). For best performance, do not install the beverage cooler behind a cabinet door or block the base grille.1" (25.4 mm)NOTE: Make sure to locate your beverage cooler in a location that does not allow vehicle doors, or any other object, to contact the glass door. Electrical Requirements WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock. Before you move your beverage cooler into its nal location, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection.Recommended Grounding MethodA 115 V, 60 Hz, AC only, 15 or 20 A fused, grounded electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only your Beverage Cooler be provided. Use an outlet that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use an extension cord.NOTE: Before performing any type of installation or cleaning, disconnect the beverage cooler from the electrical source. When you have nished, reconnect the beverage cooler to the electrical source.5 Unpack the Beverage Cooler WARNING Excessive Weight Hazard Use two or more people to move and install beverage center. Failure to do so can result in back or other injury. Remove the Packaging ■ Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the beverage cooler. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your ngers. Wipe with warm water and dry. ■ Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, ammable uids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These products can damage the surface of your beverage cooler. For more information see “Beverage Cooler Safety.” ■ Dispose of/recycle all packaging materials. When Moving Your Beverage Cooler: Your Beverage Cooler is heavy. When moving the Beverage Cooler for installation, cleaning, or service, be sure to cover the oor with cardboard or hardboard to avoid oor damage. Always pull the Beverage Cooler straight out when moving it. Do not wiggle or “walk” the Beverage Cooler when trying to move it, as oor damage could occur. Clean Before Using After you remove all of the package materials, clean the inside of your beverage cooler before using it. See the cleaning instructions in “Beverage Cooler Care.” Important information to know about glass shelves and covers: Do not clean glass shelves or covers with warm water when they are cold. Shelves and covers may break if exposed to sudden temperature changes or impact, such as bumping. Tempered glass is designed to shatter into many small, pebble-size pieces. This is normal. Glass shelves and covers are heavy. Use both hands when removing them to avoid dropping. Install the Casters

1. Install the Front Casters 2. Install the Rear Casters

For caster attachment, using two or more people, lower the Beverage Cooler on its back. The front casters are xed and have a brake on the side. The brake should face to the outside of the Beverage Cooler. To attach the xed casters to the front location, align the holes on the casters with the holes and tabs on the front mounting plate as shown. Attach each xed caster with 2 Philips- head screws (F1). The rear casters swivel to allow for ease of mobility of the Beverage Cooler. To attach the rear swivel casters to the rear location, align the holes on the casters with the holes and tabs on the rear mounting plate as shown. Attach each swivel caster with 2 Philips-head screws (F1). Return the Beverage Cooler to the upright position.

Philips-head Screw Philips-head Screw6 Open the door to a 90° angle and remove the two screws for the bottom door hinge. Remove the door by pulling it forward and away from the Beverage Cooler. NOTE: There are two hinges for reverse door installation, one for a right-hand door swing and one for a left-hand door swing. Install the top hinge designed for the desired door swing. Remove the three screws from the top hinge, and then remove the hinge. Using the three screws removed in the previous step, attach the correct top hinge to the upper reverse corner on the front of the Beverage Cooler. Remove the three decorative screws from the upper corner of the front of the Beverage Cooler. Insert the three decorative screws into the three holes in the upper reverse corner of the front of the Beverage Cooler.

Remove the screws for the door stop; remove door stop. Attach the door stop to the reverse side of the door. Attach the bottom hinge to the reverse side of the door. Insert the top corner of the door into the top hinge pin and reinstall the door on the Beverage Cooler. Press the door and the bottom hinge pin onto the bottom hinge. Check the alignment of the door and the door seals. Tighten the hinge screws (as necessary).

Reverse Door Swing (Optional)7 Door Closing Door Closing (If installing without casters) Your beverage cooler has four leveling legs. If your beverage cooler seems unsteady or you want the door to close more easily, adjust the beverage cooler’s tilt using the following instructions. WARNING Excessive Weight HazardUse two or more people to move and install beverage center.Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.

Move the beverage cooler into its nal location. Turn the leveling legs to the right to lower the beverage cooler or turn the leveling legs to the left to raise it. It may take several turns of the leveling legs to adjust the tilt of the beverage cooler. NOTE: Having someone push against the top of the beverage cooler takes some weight off the leveling legs. This makes it easier to adjust the leveling legs.Make sure that the door closes as easily as you like. If not, tilt the beverage cooler slightly more to the rear by turning both front leveling screws to the left. It may take several more turns, and you should turn both leveling legs the same amount. Base Grille

1. Remove the Base Grille

Open the beverage cooler door. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws. Push both tabs in toward the center to release the base grille from the beverage cooler. Remove the base grille. Replace the Base Grille Open the beverage cooler door. Position the base grille so that both tabs align and the base grille snaps into place. Replace the two screws. Tighten the screws.A. Tabs B. A. Power B. Light C. Temperature display D. Increase temperature E. Decrease temperature Buttons A. “ ” Button Press this button for 3 seconds to turn off the system. In this mode, only the LED light will function. Press this button again to turn the system back on. B. “ ” Button Press Light button to turn the light on and off within Beverage Cooler compartment. The Beverage Cooler will remain illuminated for 10 minutes (even when door is closed) when the light is turned on. When the light is turned off, the Beverage Cooler compartment will be illuminated when the door is open. The light will turn off when the door is closed. C. “Temperature” Displays the setting temperature inside the Beverage Cooler. D. “+” Button Each press of this button will increase the temperature setting 1ºF or 1ºC until it reaches 64ºF (18ºC). E. “-” Button Each press of this button will decrease the temperature setting 1ºF or 1ºC until it reaches 37ºF (3ºC). F. “ºF and ºC unit conversion” Press “+” & “-” button at the same time and the display will show “3, 2, 1” countdown, and then the units will convert between “ºF” and “ºC” or “ºC” and “ºF”. Setting The Temperature ■ Set the desired cooling temperature by pressing the “+” or “-” buttons. Each press of the buttons will scroll through the available temperature setting in increments of 1 degree. When exceeding the minimum or maximum value that can reach, it will stay at the lowest or highest adjustable temperature value. ■ The temperature setting can be adjusted from 37ºF (3ºC) to 64ºF (18ºC). The factory preset temperature is 54ºF (12ºC). ■ To view the actual temperature anytime, press and hold one of the “+” or “-” buttons for approximately 5 seconds. After one beeping sound, display will show actual temperature. Press “+” or “-” button again, it will return to setting temperature. ■ Recommended temperature range and location when storing wine: White - 43ºF - 50ºF (6ºC - 10ºC) Red - 53ºF - 61ºF (12ºC - 16ºC) Features ■ Temperature Recollection In the event of a power interruption, the Beverage Cooler will remember the previous temperature setting, and when the power is restored, the Beverage Cooler will go back to the same setting temperature as before the power interruption. ■ Open Door Alarm When you forget to close the door or the door is not closed completely, the alarm will sound after 5 minutes. Please close the door completely to avoid energy loss. ■ Temperature Alarm If the Beverage Cooler inner temperature is higher than 73ºF (23ºC), “HI” will be displayed and the alarm will sound continuously. It will inform that the inner temperature is too high. Please check for the cause. See “Troubleshooting.” If the Beverage Cooler inner temperature is lower than 32ºF (0ºC), “LO/CL” will be displayed and the alarm will sound continuously. It will inform that the inner temperature is too low. NOTE: When the Beverage Cooler is rst plugged in, after 6 hours if the temperature sensor detects a temperature lower than 32ºF (0ºC), the alarm will sound, and the display will show “LO.” If the temperature remains lower than 32ºF (0ºC) for 15 additional minutes, the display will change and show “CL.” This “CL” temperature alarm can only be turned off by disconnecting power. IMPORTANT: If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before the Beverage Cooler will restart.9

BEVERAGE COOLER CARE

Cleaning WARNING Explosion Hazard Use nonflammable cleaner. Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire. Clean the beverage cooler about once a month to avoid odor buildup. Wipe up spills immediately. To clean your beverage cooler:

1. Unplug beverage cooler or disconnect power.

2. Remove all racks and shelves from inside the Beverage

Cooler. See the instructions in “Shelves”.

3. Hand wash, rinse, and dry removable parts and interior

surfaces thoroughly. Use a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water. ■ Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners such as window sprays, scouring cleansers, ammable uids, cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches or cleansers containing petroleum products on plastic parts, interior and door liners or gaskets. Do not use paper towels, scouring pads, or other harsh cleaning tools. These can scratch or damage materials. ■ To help remove odors, you can wash interior walls with a mixture of warm water and baking soda (2 tbs to 1 qt [26 g to 0.95 L] of water).

4. Wash stainless steel and painted metal exteriors with a clean

sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners, or cleaners containing chlorine. These can scratch or damage materials. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

5. Replace the racks and shelves.

6. Clean the condenser coils regularly. They are located behind

the base grille. Coils may need to be cleaned as often as every other month. This may help save energy. ■ Remove the base grille. See “Base Grille.” ■ Use a vacuum cleaner with an extended attachment to clean the condenser coils when they are dusty or dirty. ■ Replace the base grille.

7. Plug in beverage cooler or reconnect power.

Lighting the Beverage Cooler Shelves ■ To prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure to have the door all the way opened when pulling shelves out of the compartment. ■ For easy access to the storage content, you can pull the shelves approximately 1/3 out of the compartment. This unit was designed with a notch on each side of the shelf to prevent bottles from falling. Please refer to the following directions for removing and replacing the shelves. When removing any of these shelves out of the compartment, tilt the shelf as per the diagram and simply pull out, or push in the shelf until it sits on the support brackets securely. ■ The Beverage Cooler has an interior LED light strip that may be turned off or remain on depending on your preference. Refer to the “Operating Your Beverage Cooler” section for information on controlling the interior light.10 Vacation and Moving Care Vacations If you choose to turn the beverage cooler off before you leave, follow these steps.1. Remove all beverages from the beverage cooler.2. Unplug the beverage cooler.3. Clean the beverage cooler. See “Cleaning.”4. Tape a rubber or wood block to the top of the door to prop it open far enough for air to get in. This stops odor and mold from building up. Moving When you are moving your beverage cooler to a new home, follow these steps to prepare it for the move.1. Remove all beverages from the beverage cooler.2. Unplug the beverage cooler.3. Clean the beverage cooler. See “Cleaning.”4. Take out all removable parts, wrap them well, and tape them together so they don’t shift and rattle during the move.5. Tape the doors shut and tape the power cord to the beverage cooler.When you get to your new home, put everything back and refer to the “Installation Instructions” section for preparation instructions. Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.Are the lights turned off?See “Lighting the Beverage Cooler” section in this manual.Your Beverage Center is equipped with an LED light strip which does not need to be replaced. If there is power to the beverage center, and the lights are turned on but they do not light, call for service or assistance.The motor seems to run too much Is the temperature outside hotter than normal?Expect the motor to run longer under warm conditions. At normal temperatures, expect your motor to run about 40% to 80% of the time. Under warmer conditions, expect it to run even more.Is the door opened often?Expect the motor to run longer when this occurs. In order to conserve energy, try to get everything you need out of the beverage cooler at once, keep wine bottles positioned label side up so that they are easy to nd, and close the door as soon as the wine is removed.11 If you experience Possible Causes Solution Try the solutions suggested here rst in order to avoid the cost of an unnecessary service call. The motor seems to run too much (contd.) Is the control set correctly for the surrounding conditions? See “Operating Your Beverage Cooler.” Is the door closed completely? Push the door rmly shut. If it will not shut all the way, see “The door will not close completely” later in this section. Are the condenser coils dirty? This obstructs air transfer and makes the motor work harder. Clean the condenser coils. See “Cleaning.” Temperature is too warm Is the door opened often? Be aware that the beverage cooler will warm when this occurs. In order to keep the beverage cooler cool, try to get everything you need out of the beverage cooler at once, keep wine bottles positioned label side up so that they are easy to nd, and close the door as soon as the items are removed. Is the control set correctly for the surrounding conditions? See “Operating Your Beverage Cooler.” Is the base grille blocked? For best performance, do not install the beverage cooler behind a cabinet door or block the base grille. There is interior moisture buildup Is the door opened often? To avoid humidity buildup, try to get everything you need out of the beverage cooler at once, keep wine bottles positioned label side up so that they are easy to nd, and close the door as soon as the items are removed. When the door is opened, humidity from the room air enters the beverage cooler. The more often the door is opened, the faster humidity builds up, especially when the room itself is very humid. Is it humid? It is normal for moisture to build up inside the beverage cooler when the air is humid. Is the control set correctly for the surrounding conditions? See “Operating Your Beverage Cooler.” WARNING Explosion Hazard Use nonflammable cleaner. Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire. The door is difcult to open Is the gasket dirty or sticky? Clean the gasket and the surface that it touches. Rub a thin coat of parafn wax on the gasket following cleaning. The door will not close completely Are the racks or shelves out of position? Put the racks or shelves back into their correct positions. See “Shelves” for more information. Is the gasket sticking? Clean the gasket and the surface that it touches. Rub a thin coat of parafn wax on the gasket following cleaning.12
