3x5 GB/IE/NI LED Lights Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the unit as de- scribed and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended Use The lamps are only intended for use in- doors, in dry and enclosed areas. The product is not intended to be used for commercial purposes or for use in other applications. Not suitable for household room illumination.

TODDLERS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material. This product is not a toy.6 GB/IE/NI This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please do not use this device if you find that it is damaged in any way. Check whether all of the parts are correctly fitted. If the device is not correctly assembled there is a danger of injury. Keep the product away from humidity. Do not subject the device to any extreme temperatures or severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may result in deformation of the product. The illuminant is not replaceable. If the illuminant fails at end of its life, the entire light must be replaced. Battery Safety Instructions DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around. There is a risk of children or animals swallowing them. Consult a doctor immediately if a battery is swallowed. EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never recharge nonrechargeable batteries, short-circuit and / or open batteries. This can cause them to overheat, burn or burst. Never throw batteries into fire or water. The batteries may explode. Remove spent batteries from the product immediately. Otherwise there is an increased risk of leakage. Always replace all batteries at the same time and only use batteries of the same type. Do not use different types of batteries or mix used and new batteries together. Check regularly that the batteries are not leaking. Leaked or damaged batteries can cause chemical burns if they come into contact with the skin; in such cases you must wear suitable protective gloves! Remove the batteries from the product if it is not in use for any length of time. Make sure that the polarity is correct when you insert the batteries! This is indicated in the battery compartment. The batteries can otherwise explode. Remove used batteries from the device. Very old or used batteries may leak. The chemical fluid can damage the product.7 GB/IE/NI
Inserting / replacing the batteries Note: Remove the insulating strips before using the product for the first time. Note: Switch the product off before you insert or remove the batteries. Turn the battery compartment cover
anticlock- wise and take it off the battery compartment
(see Fig. A). Insert the (new) batteries into the battery compartment. Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round (polarity). The correct polarity is shown inside the battery compartment. Put the battery compartment cover back in place on the battery compartment and turn it clockwise to tighten it (see Fig. B).
Installing the light Pull off the protective film from the self-adhesive pad
of the battery compartment cover
(see Fig. C). Attach the light in the desired location. Note: The substrate should be dry, smooth and free of dust and grease.
Note: For the first 24 hours after installation do not remove the self-adhesive pad. Otherwise the self-adhesive pad will lose its ability to stick.
Switching On / Off Press the light in the middle to switch it on or off.
Cleaning and care Use a dry cloth to clean the light – never use petrol, solvents or cleaners that attack plastic.
Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product. To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.8 GB/IE/NI Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accord- ance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC and its amend- ments. Return batteries and / or the device via the recycling facilities provided. Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the rechargeable batteries! Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used rechargeable batteries at a local collection point. Warranty The device has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before deliv- ery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below. The warranty for this device is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this device show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period begins on the date of pur chase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the device has been damaged or improperly used or maintained. The warranty applies to faults in material or manu- facture.
