FIRST USE Charging of the battery The sound system is equipped with a rechargeable battery for mains- independent operation. The battery is automatically charged as soon as the mains plug is plugged into an electrical outlet. After charging, the device automatically switches to trickle charging. Note: Do not leave the unit permanently plugged into an electrical outlet. If the system is not used for a long time, the battery should be charged at least every 30 days. Fully charge the battery before rst use (min. 6 hours). Only after the exhausted battery has been charged three times does the battery reach full power. Charge the battery before and after each use to maintain battery performance. Be sure to fully charge the internal battery before the rst mobile use (without mains power). To do this, plug the unit into an ordinary power outlet using the AC adapter. The charging time is about 5 - 6 hours. The charge state is indicated by the charge LED (CHARGE) on the rear panel. The LED goes out as soon as the battery is fully charged.21
