How to assemble the GCGR 57 lawn roller?

Follow figures 3 to 10 in the manual. You will need wrenches SN 8, SN 13, SN 14 and a #2 Phillips screwdriver. First mount the lower handle (3) onto the roller, then the handle (4) and the dirt scraper (2).

Can the roller be filled with something other than water?

Yes, you can use sand or even pour concrete inside. The maximum filling volume is 46 liters. The maximum allowed weight when filled is 57 kg.

How to adjust the dirt scraper?

The dirt scraper (2) is adjustable. It should be set so that the least amount of soil sticks to the roller during use. This improves rolling efficiency.

What type of ground can be rolled?

Only roll dry ground. The roller is designed for freshly seeded surfaces (lawn, flower beds) and after scarification or fertilization. Avoid wet or waterlogged soil.

How to clean the roller after use?

Clean the device immediately after each use with a water jet. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Dry it if necessary to prevent rust.

What safety precautions should be observed?

The device is not a toy, keep children away. Use the device only for its intended purpose. Wear closed shoes. Never fill the roller beyond the maximum weight.

It is not recommended to use the roller on steep slopes. Always use it on flat or gently sloping surfaces to avoid any risk of tipping.

Do not throw the device in household waste. Take it to an appropriate collection center (recycling center) to allow recycling of materials.

2. Intended use

Lawn and garden roller for rolling surfaces and freshly sown seed (for example grass seed but also seed in beds) to ensure that the seed is perfectly inserted in the soil.

The roller can also be used after the lawn area has been scarified or fertilized.

The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.

Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Assembly

You will need 8 mm. 13 mm and 14 mm open-ended wrenches and a size 2 Philips screwdriver for the assembly work.

Follow Figures 3-10 for the assembly.

Once assembled, fill the roller with water, sand or concrete.

6. Operation

Pull the roller over the ground you wish to roll in even strips. Adjust the dirt wiper (2) so that as little soil as possible remains on the roller. Only roll dry ground.

7. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts

Danger!

Always pull out the mains power plug before starting any cleaning work.
