IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. - If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- The appliance must not be immersed.
- Heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
- Use the appliance according to this instruction, any misuse may cause electric shock or other hazards.

. - Before connecting the appliance, please check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the main voltage in your home.
- Do not place the appliance on a hot surface.
- Do not use this appliance outdoors.
- Remove the main plug from the wall socket;
- if problems occur during making coffee;
– before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not allow the main cord to come into contact with hot surface.
- Use the appliance out of children reach. Prevent them from pulling the main cord.
- Do pour any water before the appliance has been turned on.
- The heating plate is hot when in operation. Do not touch-risk of severe burn!
• To fill the water tank use fresh cold water only.

Protecting function
Automatic-off protection: The machine will turn off automatically when it has been switched on for 40 minutes.
Before first use
For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh water (without coffee). Once all the water has passed through, switch off the appliance and let it cool down during 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.
Making coffee
- Fill the water tank with the required quantity of water. Ensure that the water level is not lower than the minimum mark and not higher than indication “MAX”. Use fresh, cold water only. The number of cups can be read on the water tank.
- Insert filter paper size “1X4” if the filter hasn’t been used and fill in the desired quantity of ground coffee.
- Switch on the appliance. Wait until the brewing process is finished and the funnel has run empty.
- For large cups: takes 5-6g of ground coffee each cup.
Making more coffee straight away?
- If you have made one cup of coffee and wish to make some more straight away, please switch off the coffee maker and allow at least 5 minutes for it to cool down. Then you can refill the water tank.
Cleaning
- Always remove the main plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- You should clean it with a damp cloth.
- The carafe and the filter and the funnel can be washed in hot soapy water.
Descaling
- Descale your coffee maker regularly.
- Operate the appliance as described. However, now use ordinary vinegar to fill the water tank and do not fill the funnel with ground coffee.
• After descaling let the appliance work twice more with only water to rinse away the vinegar and scale remainders.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
- Please read these instructions before operating and retain for future reference.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such as curtains.
- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, thanks to refer to the section "Care and Cleaning".
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

• Always use the appliance on a dry, level surface. - Do not use this appliance outdoors.
- Always unplug from the plug socket when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not operate the appliance if damaged, after an appliance malfunctions or it has been damaged in any manner, return to the customer service department for repair, because special purpose tools are required.
- In the interest of safety, regular periodic close checks should be carried out on the supply cord to ensure no damage is evident. Should there be any signs that the cord is damaged in the slightest degree, the entire appliance should be returned to the customer service department.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces. Allow the unit to cool before wrapping the cord around base for storage.
- Care must be taken, not to touch any hot surfaces, do not store or cover the appliance until it has fully cooled down.
- Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in or where it could touch a heated oven, or a microwave oven.
- Do not use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or oven cleaners when cleaning this appliance.
- When using this appliance, allow adequate air space above and on all sides for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other flammable materials during use. CAUTION is required on surfaces where heat may cause a problem-an insulated heat pad is recommended.
- Do not use the toaster without the crumb tray in place. The crumb tray should be cleaned regularly. Do not allow crumbs to build up in the tray.
- Do not use this appliance with any foodstuff product
containing sugar content or with products containing jam or preserves.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
• Make sure to turn the Bread rack handle in position thoroughly before placing the bread on the bread rack. - The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
WARNING!!
Never attempt to extract jammed toast, muffins, bagels or any other item with a knife or any other object, as contact with live elements may cause electrocution.
Allow the appliance to cool down, unplug and carefully remove the bread.

OPERATING TOASTER
- Insert the plug into a suitable mains supply socket.
- Place up to two slices of bread, muffins, or bagels into bread slots.
- Select the desired browning setting, from No.1 to No.7 on the browning control knob. (No.1-lightest, No.7-darkest).
When using the toaster for the first time we suggest you toast on number 4. Varying types of bread and personal preference may require a different browning setting. - Press the carriage control lever down until it clicks into place. Toasting cycle will automatically commence. Please note: if the toaster is not plugged in and switched on at the power point the carriage control lever will not click into place.
- The toaster turns off when the desired toast color is achieved and automatically raises the toast. The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the cancel button.
- Use the bread rack to heat up rolls or other bread. Place the bread on the top of the rack. Please note: only heat up one piece at a time. Select browning setting and press the carriage control lever down to switch on the toaster. Toasting cycle will commence and the toaster turns off when the desired toast color is achieved automatically.
TOASTING FROZEN BREAD: To toast frozen bread, place the bread into the bread slots and select the desired browning setting. Press the carriage control lever down until it clicks into place then press the defrost button.
REHEATING TOAST: The toaster allows you to reheat toast without additional toasting. To reheat, place toast into bread slots, lower the carriage control lever until it clicks into place and press the reheat button.
In the unlikely event that the bread or crumpet becomes jammed, switch the toaster off at the power outlet, remove the plug from the
supply socket and carefully ease the bread out of the toaster, ensuring that you do not damage the element.
CARE AND CLEANING
- Always turn the power off, remove the plug and allow the toaster to cool before cleaning.
- To remove any crumbs from the toaster, slide out the crumb tray from under the toaster, empty and replace in the toaster before using it again.
- Wipe the outside of the toaster with a slightly dampened cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- To clean the interior, turn the toaster upside down over the sink and shake crumbs free.
The crumb tray should be cleaned regularly. Do not allow breadcrumbs to accumulate in the bottom of the toaster.

. - Before you connect the kettle to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate, located on the bottom of the water kettle matches the mains voltage in your home. If it does not, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
- The kettle will switch off automatically when the water has boiled. If you want to stop the heating process before the kettle automatically switches off, press the ON/OFF switch up.
- After the kettle has switched off automatically (or has been switched off manually) it may need time to cool down. After 15-20 seconds, the kettle can be switched on again.
• Always fill the kettle with water before switching it on. - The kettle is designed to disconnect the live electrical supply from the element abnormal operating conditions. If the water kettle is accidentally switched on without water, the boil dry protector will operate.
- If the kettle ever boils dry, the power indicator will go out. Allow 15 minutes to cool before refilling with cold water. The safety cutout will automatically reset during this time.
- Place the kettle on a stable flat surface.
- Do not use this appliance outdoors.
- Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its base.
- Do not remove the kettle from its base during operation.

Never immerse the kettle or cord in water or any other liquid. Do not allow liquid to penetrate the electrical parts of this kettle.

Prevent children from pulling on the mains cord or knocking the kettle over.
- Ensure that the mains lead does not overhang the worktop surface.
- The outside surface of the kettle may get hot during use, please take care when using the kettle. Never fill in water more than the maximum acceptable water level.
- Never use the kettle with the lid open.
- Do not open the lid when steam is coming out of the spout.
- Before cleaning the kettle disconnect from the power supply and wait until it was cooled down.

Before first use
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 or 3 times following the instructions below, this will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
• Take up the kettle from the base before filling.
- To fill the kettle, open the cover by pulling the lid handle inwards, then fill to the desired level (MIN0. 5L-MAX.1.7L), close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
- Plug the power supply cord into the main, press the ON/OFF switch, the power indicator lights up.
- When the water has boiled the kettle will automatically switch itself off, you can stop the boiling process at any time by lifting the On/Off switch. The power indicator will go out.
Cleaning
- First read the instructions in the section titled "IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS".
• Always disconnect the kettle from electrical outlet before cleaning. - Before cleaning make sure the kettle is cold enough.
- Empty the kettle, Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a clean, damp cloth to preserve its original highly polished finish. Dry and polish with a soft cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind inside or on the exterior of the kettle.
- Open the lid, lift out the filter, rinse the filter under warm water and brush off any impurities.
- Only use the dry cloth to wipe the base of the kettle.
- Avoid wetting the electrical parts.
- Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or other liquid, and make sure the electrical kettle socket is kept dry.
- Refitting is the reverse of removal.
Descaling
- Half fill the kettle with tap water and add the juice of 1 lemon to the water.
- Boil this mixture and allow it to stand for 15 minutes. Re-boil the mixture and allow it to stand a further 15 minutes. Re-boil this mixture a third time then rinse the kettle well.
