• Whenyouusethehobforthefirsttime,youwillnoticea“new smell”. Don’t worry, this is normal. If the kitchen is well ventilated, thesmellwillsoon disappear.

• Neveropenthecasingoftheappliance.

• Inconnectionwithelectricalsafety, the applianceshallnotbe cleanedwithhigh-pressurecleanersorsteamcleaners.

• Donotallowchildrentoplaywiththeappliance.

Gasburners

Prolongedintensiveuseoftheappliancemaycallforadditional ventilation,foreampleopeningofawindow,ormoreeffective ventilation,foreampleincreasingthelevelofmechanical ventilationwherepresent.

CAUTION: The use of gas cooking appliances in the production of heat, moisture and product of combustion in the room in which it is installed. Ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated especially when the appliance is in use: keep natural ventilation holes open to install mechanical ventilation device (mechanical extractor hood).

• Theburnercomponentsarehotduringandimmediatelyafteruse. Donottouchthem, and avoid contact with non-heatresistant materials.
• Neverimmersehotburnercapsandpansupportsincoldwater. Rapidcoolingcandamagetheenamel.
• Thedistancebetweenthepanandaknoborn-heatresistant wallshouldalwaysbegreaterthanonecentimetre.Inthecase ofsmallerdistances,thehightemperaturemaycausetheknobs orwalltodiscolourand/ordeform.
• Alwaysusethepansupportsandsuitablecookware.
• Alwaysplacethepanonthepansupport.Placingthepandirectly ontheburnercapcanresultindangeroussituations.
• Aluminiumtraysorfoilarenotsuitableascookingutensils. They canburnintotheburnercapsandpansupports.
• Thehobcanonlyfunctioneffectivelyiftheburnercomponents havebeenassembledusingtheguideridges.Ensurethat the pansupportslieproperlyagainsteachotherandflatonthedrip tray.Onlythencanthepansbepositionedstably.
• Keepovenglovesorovenclothsawayfromtheflame.

• Donotusegriddleplatesorbakingplates.

• Cleantheburnerpartsregularlyforthesafeandcorrectoperation oftheburners.

• Missingrubberfeetfromthepansupportscancausescratches onthedriptrayorpoorcombustionoftheburner.lftherubber feetaremissing,pleasecontactourservicedepartment.

Inductioncookingzonesandcookingareas

• Donotplacemetalobjectssuchasknives,forks,spoons,and lidsonthesurfaceofthecooking Hob;theymaybecomehot.
• Assoonasyouremovethepanfromthehob, thecookingprocess willstopautomatically. Getintothehabitofswitchingoffthe cookingzoneorhobmanuallytoavoidunintentionallyswitching ontheappliance.
• Afteruse, switchoffthehobeblementusingthecontrolsanddon't relyonlyonthepandetector.
• Rememberthatifthehobisusedonahighsettingtheheating timewillbeveryshort.Donotleavethehobunattendedifyouare usingazoneinahighsetting.
• Whentheinductionhobisinuse,keepobjectsthataresensitive tomagneticfields(creditcards,bankcards, discs, watches and similaritems)awayfromthehob. Weadviseanyonewitha pacemakertoconsulttheircardiologistfirst.
• Neverusealuminiumfoilforcookingandneverplaceproducts packagingaluminiumonthehob. Thealuminiumwouldmelt andirreparablydamageyourdevice.

Wi-Fi-connectivity

ThehobmaybefittedwithaWi-Fimodulethatalowstheappliance toconnecttoamobiledevicessuchasasmartphoneortablet. Itofferstomonitorthecookinghobstatusviathemobiledevice.For safetyreasons,itisnotpossibletotremotelycontrol,turnonorturn offthehob.Themonitoringfunctionviamobiledevicesshallnotbe usedtorreplacethepersonalsupervisionofthecookingprocess directlyatthehob.

Decorativecover

• Always raisethedecorativecoverwhenusingthehob.Before liftingthedecorativecover,youshouldmakesureitisdry.
• Theedecorativeglasscovercanbreakthroughheating. Ensure that all burners/cookingzonesareswitchedoffandhavecooled downbeforeclosingtheedecorativecover.
• If there is water on the decorative cover, dry it before opening. If you fail to do so, moisture may enter the unit.
• Donotusethedecorativecoverasacookingsurface.

• Thegasconnectionmustcomplywithnationalandlocal regulations.Seeappliancelabelfortechnicalgasdata.
• This applianceisnotconnectedtoacombustionproducts evacuationdevice.Itshallbeinstalledandconnected in accordancewithcurrentinstallationregulations.Particularattention shallbegiventotherelevantrequirementsregardingventilation.
• Werecommendthatthegashobbeconnectedbymeansofafixedpipe.Connectionusingaspeciallydesignedsafetyhoseisalsopermitted.
  Thepipebehindtheovenmustbemadeentirelyoutofmetal.
• Asafetyhosemaynotbebentandmustnotcomeintocontact withmovingpartsof kitchenunits.
• Thegassupplyvalvemustalwaysbeplacedinaneasily accessibleposition.

Service
