• Children can drown even in small volumes of water. The pool must be emptied when it is not in use. Risk of injury!

• Never allow your child to use the product without supervision because children cannot judge the potential dangers. Use only under the direct supervision of an adult.

• When the pool is in use, remove any sharp and hard objects, such as toys. Do not wear jewellery or watches or carry keys. Take off your child’s or your own shoes and also remove your own or your child’s glasses.

• To protect the product from damage and peo- ple from injury, the product may not be used until it is fully inflated.

• Children may not jump into the paddling pool.

• Inform your children regarding the instructions for use so that they play safely.

• Do no modify the product in any way.

• Use only clean tap water. Contaminated water can endanger users’ health.

• Assembly should always be undertaken by an adult.

The paddling pool may not be assembled on concrete, asphalt, or any other hard surface. GB18 GB

• The product must be set up on a flat grass surface that is free from stones, sticks, bumps, and depressions. The product should be at an appropriate safe distance of at least 2m from buildings, steps, hedges, walls, bodies of water, overhanging branches, clotheslines, electric wires and other obstacles.

• Check the product before use each time for damage and wear. The product may be used only when in good working order and condition! Do not use the product when there is visible or suspected damage.

• Do not use the product if air is escaping. Avoiding material damage!

• All inflatables are susceptible to cold. For this reason the product may never be unfolded and inflated at temperatures below 15°C!

• Avoid the use of sunscreen and skin care pro- ducts that contain alcohol. Sunscreen and skin care products that contain alcohol can dissol- ve the coloured coating of PVC inflatables. This can lead to stains on your body, your clothing, or other items that come into contact.

• Should the air pressure increase in the blazing sun, it must be correspondingly balanced by letting out air.

• Make sure that the product, especially when inflated, does not come into contact with stones, gravel, or sharp objects and does not rub or scrape against anything as this can cause damage to the plastic foil.

• Use only the correct pump adapters to insert into the safety valves. The valves might other- wise become damaged.

• Do not over-inflate because you then risk tearing open the welded seams. Close valves properly after inflating.

• Avoid contact with sharp, hot, pointed, or dangerous objects. Assembly Assembly should always be undertaken by an adult. Please follow the individ- ual assembly steps in the order indicat- ed.

Select a suitable even and clean surface with sufficient space in which to unpack and unfold the product. Spread out the product at the site where it will later stand. Make sure that all individual parts are present and in good order and condition.

• Always inflate the air chambers fully!

• Avoid inflating the air chambers too much because there is the risk of over-stretching the welded seams or even tearing them open.

• Use standard commercial foot pumps or double-stroke piston pumps with the appropriate pump adapters to inflate the product.

• Do not use a compressor or com- pressed air bottles to inflate the pro- duct. This can lead to damage to the product.

• Make sure that the chambers are inflated evenly.

• Inflate each air chamber until it feels firm. When you press with your thumb, the air chamber should still give a little.19 Emptying the product Open the drain hole and allow the water to run out (fig. E). Note: Please adhere to the local provi- sions for specific regulations regarding the disposal of water from swimming pools. Dismantling Let the product dry completely before folding up. Take off the garden hose. Take off all removable individual parts. Vent the product as follows:

1. To let air escape quickly from the lower and

upper chambers (1a) (1b), open the seal (fig. F).

2. To let air escape from other components, pull

the valve out and squeeze the valve stem lightly so that the air can escape. Repairs Small leaks or holes can be repaired using the repair patch provided. Important! Do not inflate the product for 20 minutes after a repair! Do not use the patch for leaks or holes on the seam.

1. Allow the air to escape fully from the product.

2. Clean the area around the leak thoroughly.

The area must be dry and free of grease.

3. Cut out a piece of repair material big enough

so that the edges protrude approximately 1.3 cm over and beyond the damaged area.

4. Strip the patch from the paper, place it on the

damaged area and press it down firmly. Storage, cleaning Change the water in the product frequently, es- pecially in hot weather and if it is dirty! Always store the product at room temperature, clean, dry, and uninflated. During storage the valves should always be closed. Clean only with water or soapy water, never with abrasive detergents. When storing for the winter do not place any sharp-edged objects on the product and do not powder with talc. Sequence WARNING! Follow the sequence below when inflating the air chambers. Always fully inflate all air chambers!

with air and close the cap (fig. B). Inflate the air chambers until they feel firm. When you press each air chamber with your thumb, it should still give a little.

2. To fill components 3-8 open the valve seal

and inflate the air chambers. Close the valve seal and push in the valve by pressing lightly (fig. C). Note: For better positioning first fill the bases for the mast (1e) and the control stand (1f) with water, and then fill them with air afterwards. Before filling with air, put the ship‘s wheel onto the control stand (1f) and pull the mounting sideways over the cannon (1g). Then put the mounting onto the pin of the upper air chamber (1b).

4. Connecting the garden hose

Use a garden hose with a suitable hose coupling and connect it to the water supply for the pro- duct (fig. D). Filling the product with water Fill the product slowly and do not leave it unat- tended while it is filling. Always fill the product up to the marking indi- cated. Important! Observe the filling capac- ity of 460l without the cannon being connected! GB20 GB Disposal information Dispose of the product and packaging mate- rials in accordance with current local regula- tions. Packaging materials such as plastic bags should not be accessible to children. Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children. Please dispose of the product and its packaging in an environmentally-friendly way. The Recycling Code is used to mark different materials to be returned for recycling. The Code consists of the recycling symbol, which is intended to match the recycling process, and a number, which identifies the material. Notes on the guarantee and service handling The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three- year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt. The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, espe- cially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty. With regard to complaints, please contact the following service hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you. Any repairs under the warranty, statutory gua- rantees or through goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
