Ankle Brace Malleo-Active

Intended use

This product is made for private use. The brace will provide support, rest and relief for the upper subtalar joint.

Use as a support:

• After subtalar joint (ankle) injuries
• For joint wear
• Slight instabilities of the joint
• Chronic joint pain
• Tendency to swell

Do not use, or consult your physician for:

• Complex chronic instability of tendons
• External injuries
• Circulatory disorders
• Lymph drainage dysfunctions
• Eczema or other skin disorders

Safety instructions Risk of injury!

• If problems arise during use, immediate remove brace and consult a physician.
• Be sure the brace is comfortably firm but not too tight. Do not constrict the blood supply to the forefoot and toes.
• Check brace for tears and damage prior to every use.
• Only use in proper condition.
• Do not use whilst sleeping.

Risk of skin inflammation and irritation!

- In some cases skin reactions or irritations and even allergic reactions may occur.

- Do not wear more than 1-2 hours at a time or 6-8 hours per day, and regularly wash areas of the body covered by this product to prevent skin inflammation and irritation.

• To prevent allergic reactions of the skin, the skin must be free of gels, greases, salves, oils or other similar substances. Should problems still occur, immediately consult a physician.

Applying the brace

- Slip brace over the foot to the ankle.

- To verify the brace is correctly positioned fold down the top of the brace. The ankle proturbance must be within positioned the truss pad (Fig. A).

- Be sure not to crease the brace (Fig. B).

Cleaning and care

• Thoroughly wash brace prior to first use.
• After every second or third use we recommend washing it again.
• Thoroughly rinse the brace after washing.
- Wash only with similar colours.

Disposal

Please dispose of the product and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner, separating different materials for recycling as required! Dispose of this item through an authorised disposal company or through your local waste disposal facilities - ask your local authority for information if further guidance is required. Ensure that you comply with all regulations currently in force.

3 years warranty

The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty.

With regard to complaints, please contact the following service hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you. Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees or through goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Repairs after the warranty are subject to a charge.
