1. This appliance can be used by

children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

• CAUTION: The surface can remain hot during or after use.

• Do not use the device connected to an external timer or a separate remote control system.

• The electrical safety of the appliance is only guaranteed if it is connected to an efficient earth installation as specified in current electric safety regulations. The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damage resulting from a lack of earth installation.

• We strongly advise against the use of adapters, extension plugs and/or leads. • The baking surfaces get very hot. Touch the handles only.

• Warning: When the grill is switched on, the inside surfaces can reach extremely high temperatures and can cause serious burns. It should be taken the necessary measures to avoid the risk of burns, fire and other damage to persons or property by contact with the sides or top of the device during use or its cooling.

• Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop on which the appliance stands.

• Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.

• Do not let the appliance operate unattended.

• Put the appliance on a flat, stable surface with sufficient free space around it.

• Let the appliance cool down completely before you remove the cooking plates, clean the appliance or put it away.GR 2500

• Never touch the cooking plates with sharp or abrasive items, as they damage the non-stick surface.

• Always unplug the appliance after use.

• Put the unit down onto a heat- resistant surface or mat.

• In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is enough space all around.

• Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section. USING THE GRILL FOR THE FIRST TIME When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the plate with damp cloth and dry with clothe, tissue etc. Then drop some cooking oil or butter on the plate. Then preheat for 5-10 minutes. This operation is only necessary when using for the first time.

1. Plug the connector, and then red light will light.

2. Close the lid and prepare the food while the grill is heating.

3. The device is ready once the green light turns on.

4. Place the sandwiches in the grill and close the top.

5. While cooking, the upper lid would be a little bulging.

6. During use, the green light will turn on and off. This indicates

that the thermostat is working correctly.

7. Leave the food to cook for several minutes. Cooking time depends on

individual preference.

8. Open the lid and remove sandwich using plastic or wooden spatula.

Never use metal knife as this may damage the non-sticking coating.

• Clean the cooking plates with a soft cloth or sponge in hot water with some washing-up liquid or put them in the dishwasher.

• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents and materials, as they damage the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.
