INTRODUCTION Thank you for having chosen a blood pressure monitor ORBEGOZO. The unit uses the oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement. It means the unit detects the movement of your blood through your brachial artery, and converts your blood pressure into a digital reading. The unit is simple to use because a stethoscope is not needed while using an oscillometric monitor. The unit stores automatically 60 sets of measurement values for each user (2x60). You can read the stored data conveniently by pressing the memory button. The unit comes with the following components: main unit, arm cuff and instruction manual

USING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

To assure the correct use of the product basic safety measures should always be followed including the precautions listed below: Read all information in the instruction manual and any other literature included in the box before using the unit. Contact your physician for specific information about your blood pressure. Self-diagnosis and treatment using measured results may be dangerous. Follow the instructions of your healthcare provider. Operate the unit only as intended. Don't use for any other purpose. The unit is intended to use in measuring blood pressure and pulse rate for adult only, not recommended for neonatal baby at home or medical centre. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit or components. Do not use the equipment where flammable gas (such as anesthetic gas, oxygen or hydrogen) or flammable liquid (such as alcohol) are present. Do not use a cellular phone near the unit. It may result in operational failure. Indicating that too frequent measurements can cause injury to the patient due to blood flow interference. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for three months or more. The application of the cuff over a wound can cause further injury. Warning notices: o Regarding the effect of blood flow interference and resulting harmful injury to the patient caused by continuous cuff pressure due to connection tubing kinking o Regarding the application of the cuff and its pressurization on any limb where intravascular access or therapy, or an arterio-venous (A-V) shunt is present because of temporary interference to blood flow and could result in injury to the patient. o Regarding the application of the cuff and its pressurization on the arm on the side of a mastectomy. o Regarding the information that pressurization of the cuff can temporarily cause loss of function of simultaneously used monitoring ME Equipment on same limb o Regarding the need to check (for example, by observation of the limb concerned) that operation of the automated sphygmomanometer does not result in prolonged impairment of the circulation of the blood of the patient.TES 3650

1. Remove the battery cover from the battery compartment.

2. Install 2 AAA size batteries so the + (positive) and – (negative) polarities match the polarities of the

battery compartment as indicated.

3. Replace the battery cover.

ATENCIÓN Do not use rechargeable batteries. Use two identical batteries type AAA. Replace both of the batteries if the symbol of low battery appears on the display. Never leave any low battery in the compartment since they may leak and cause damage to the unit. Disposal of used batteries should be carried out in accordance with the national regulations for the disposal of batteries. ADJUSTING SETTINGS

All information will appear when the batteries are installed at the first time. After 2 seconds the year flashes. Press the “MEM” button to increase one year. Press the “SET” button to decrease one year. Long press the button and the value quickly changes. The year can be set between 2011 and 2030, and it will return to 2011 when the display of year up to 2030.TES 3650

2. To set date and time

Press the “MEM” button to change the month and press the “SET” button and continue with next step. Then set the day, the hour and the minute by using the same way. Continue with step 3.

Then press the “MEM” button again to change the current unit. Press the “ START-STOP” button to save the current setting and turn off.

With the device turned off, the mark of a user will appear when pressing the SET button. Then press SET again to change the current user. Finally, press START-STOP button to confirm user and turn off.TES 3650

Follow these instructions before taking a measurement:

1. Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising and bathing for 30 minutes before taking a

PROPER WAY OF MEASUREMENT

Remove all clothes from your arm allowing the cuff to fit directly on the skin.

Wrap the cuff tightly around your wrist by using the Velcro strip.

1. To read the average value

Press the “MEM” button. The average value symbol will display.

2. To read the measurement value

Press the “MEM” button to view the latest measurement value with the measuring date and time. Press the “SET” button to view the oldest measurement value with the measuring date and time.

3. To delete the memory value

In the memory reading mode, press the “MEM” button for 4-6 seconds the unit will display Press the “MEM” button again and LCD will display If you are sure all the data of corresponding user can be deleted, press the “START-STOP” button. All the corresponding user’s data will be deleted and the unit will turn off. Note: if you have set , but do not press a button for 2 minutes, the product will shut off automatically, but the corresponding user’s blood pressure data will not be deleted. When the unit detects an irregular rhythm two or more times during the measurement, the irregular heartbeat Symbol will appear on the display with the measurement values.

An irregular heartbeat rhythm is defined as a rhythm that is more than 25% slower or 25% faster from the average rhythm detected while the monitor is measuring the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure. If the Irregular Heartbeat Symbol (IHB) displays with your measurement results, we recommend you consult your physician. Follow the directions of your doctor.

ABOUT BLOOD PRESSURE

Symptoms of high blood pressure High blood pressure can go unnoticed for a long time, since it does not cause noticeable symptoms. The following are all possible causes of abnormally high blood pressure:TES 3650

The course of inflating appears error. Wrap the cuff correctly and tightly. Ensure the connection is close between the air plug and the unit. Inflate over again after ensuring. When measurement fails. Do not move your arm and body, and keep quiet. Measure over again according to correct way.

When the batteries power are too low. Replace all of the worn batteries with new ones.

No display appears on the display screen. Check the battery installation for proper placement of the batteries polarities. Measurement values appear too high or too low. Blood pressure varies constantly. Many factors including stress, time of day, how you wrap the cuff, may affect your blood pressure. Review the sections "Proper Use of the Arm Cuff" and "Take a Measurement".

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not disassemble the unit Do not fold the cuff or immerse it in water Do not use volatile liquids to clean the main unit Do not use petrol, thinners or similar solvents to clean the cuff Do not subject the unit to strong shocks or vibrations Do not subject the main unit and the cuff to extreme temperatures, humidity, moisture or direct sunlight. Do not carry out repairs of any kind yourself. If a defect occurs, please contact your distributor. If needed, please use ultraviolet radiation of disinfection. The unit should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Use a soft, moistened cloth and soap to clean the arm cuff Substitution of a cuff different from that supplied might result in measurement error.

The accuracy of this blood pressure monitor has been carefully tested and is designed for a long service life.
