SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - Read the instrucons carefully before use. - Take special care when children are near the device. - Do not use the device for purposes other than those for which it was intended.

Do not immerse the device, cable or charger in water or other liquids. - Do not leave the device unaended during operaon. - Always remove the plug from the mains socket when not in use or before cleaning.

Never use a damaged device, including one with a damaged cord or plug, in which case have it repaired at an authorised service centre. - Do not use the device outdoors. - Do not hang the power cable on sharp edges or allow it to come into contact with hot surfaces.

Never ll the kele above the maximum or minimum level as overlling it may result with splashing boiling water. - Make sure the kele is turned o before placing on its base.

Cauon! Burns risk. The kele housing heats up during operaon and maintains a high temperature even aer the device is turned o. Do not touch the casing if hot water is present in the kele.

Warning! Do not remove/open the kele lid while water is boi- ling inside. The lid must remain closed when boiling / pouring out water. - The kele can be used only with the base aached to it. - Do not place the kele near a heat source or hot surfaces. - The kele should only be used with the aached lter. - The kele was produced solely for water boiling. - Use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause damage to the appliance, re or personal injury. - The device should be put on a dry, at and stable surface. - The device should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a grounding pin! - The device is intended for domesc use only.

This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons of diminished physical, mental capacity and lack of experience and knowledge of the equipment if supervision or14

instrucon is provided regarding the safe use of the equipment so that the hazards involved are understood. Cleaning and mainte- nance must not be performed by children, unless they are over 8 years old and supervised by an adult. Unsupervised children can not perform cleaning and maintenance of the product.

The appliance is not a toy and should not be used as such by children.

Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age. - Do not pull the plug out of the power socket by pulling the cord.

If water spills over the internal electrical components as well as the power base, dry them thoroughly before switching the kele back on. - Do not turn on the kele without water inside it. - The equipment is not designed to operate using external mers or a separate remote control. - Do not connect the plug to the power socket with wet hands. - Allow the kele to cool down completely before cleaning it.

For the safety of children, please do not leave freely accessible parts of the packaging (plasc bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene, etc.).

Before the rst use, remove all bags, sckers, tapes and transport locks from the device and its accessories.

1. The kele should be placed upright of at, stable and dry surfaces .

2. Prior to the rst use, ll the kele with water to max level, boil it, then empty and rinse with fresh

water. Repeat it few mes to remove producon dust, etc.

3. The kele will turn o automacally aer water boiling. However it may be turned o by the user

4. Aer water has been boiled or the kele has been switched o, wait several seconds before

switching it on again.

5. The empty kele will be automacally turned o by its overheang protecon system. In such

case the kele should be allowed to cool for 15 minutes before its relling.

HOW TO USE THE KETTLE

1. Remove the kele from its base before lling it with water ❻.

2. Open the kele’s cover pushing the ❸ buon, pour water to a desired level (however, not less

than 0,5 l and do not exceed the level of 1,7 l).

3. Pushing the buon close the cover ❷ accurately.

4. Place the kele on the base ❻.

5. Switch the kele by means of the switch ❺. When the water comes to a boil the kele will turn

o automacally. IMPORTANT NOTE! The kele may be used with its base delivered in the scope of purchased model. Do not ever open the kele lid in course of water boiling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE! The kele should be regularly descaled in accordance with the instrucons included be- low. Always unplug cord of power base before cleaning and allow the jar to cool down.

1. Fill the jar with water mixed with vinegar or lemon juice (citric acid) or special descaling agent avail

able in the shops selling the household equipment.

2. Let the mixture soak in the kele for an hour and boil the water thereaer.

3. Empty the kele and rinse the inside thoroughly with cold.

4. Repeat this acon up to three mes, if necessary.

5. In order to eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil and remove water several mes.

6. Wipe the jar inside and outside with a cloth.

7. Failure to descale your kele may result in its damage.

WARNING! Never immerse the device or the base in water or other liquids. This may result in electric shock or re. CAUTION! Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents. Clean the housing with a damp cloth and wipe dry. TECHNICAL DATA The technical parameters are given on the data plate of the product. Used equipment may have a negave impact on the environ- ment and health of people due to potenally containing hazardous substances, mixtures and components. Mixing electric waste with other types of waste or disassembling those in an unprofessional manner may cause a release of substances that are hazardous to the environment and health. Used equipment should be handed-over to a point for collecon of electric waste. In order to obtain detailed informaon regarding the electric waste collecon points, the user should contact the municipal point of electric waste collecon or used equipment processing department.16
