Intended Use
This device is intended for heating closed and dry spaces only. The device is not intended for use in spaces that are exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as corrosive or explosive atmospheres (dust, vapour or gas). Do not use the device outdoors.

●Generalinformation
WARNING! Read this instruction manual carefully before using the device. They are an integral part of the device and must be available at all times.
WARNING! Only use the device for the intended purposes described.
WARNING! Please verify that the mains voltage required (see type plate on the device) corresponds to your mains voltage.
WARNING! In the event of any malfunctions, the device may only be repaired by our authorised service centre.
WARNING device may only be installed on a firm, level, dry and non-combustible surface.
WARNING! Please ensure that the power socket is easily accessible to be able to quickly disconnect the power plug from the mains, if necessary.
Electric shock protection

WARNING! The following safety instructions are designed to protect you from electric shock.
- Only connect the device to a correctly installed grounded power socket.
If the device falls to the ground or sustains a severe impact, or if it falls into water, stop using it immediately. In such cases, please contact our service centre.
If the power supply cable of this device is damaged it should be replaced by the manufacturer or by its customer service or a similarly qualified person, to avoid danger.
■ Never use the device in the direct vicinity of a sink, bath tub, shower or swimming pool as water spray may enter the appliance.
■ Never allow water or other liquids to enter the device.
Therefore:
- never use the device outdoors,
- never place containers filled with liquids, such as drinking glasses, vases, etc., on the device,
- never use in a very humid environment such as a bathroom. If any liquids do get into the device, unplug the power cord immediately and ensure the device is repaired by a qualified technician.
■ Never attempt to reach through the protective grilles into the interior of the device using your fingers or any other objects.
- Never touch the device, the mains cable or the mains plug with wet hands.
■ Always unplug the mains cable by pulling the plug. Never pull on the cable itself.
■ Ensure the power cable does not kink or become trapped.
Take care to ensure that the power cord is not damaged by sharp edges.
- Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces (e.g. cookers / stoves).
- If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of time, unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Only
then is the device completely free of electrical current.
■ Extension cord use is prohibited.
■ Using an external timer or a separate remote control system, such as a radio socket with the device is prohibited.
- Fire hazard protection

WARNING! Since the device operates at high temperatures, observe the following safety instructions to prevent fire hazards.
- Do not place any flammable objects (e.g. curtains, paper, etc.) in the immediate vicinity of the device during operation.
- Never use the device to dry textiles or other things on, above or in front of the device.

The device should always remain uncovered to prevent overheating.
- When setting up the device, observe a minimum clearance of 0.5 m from other devices or the wall.
- Never operate the device in potentially explosive atmospheres or in the vicinity of flammable gases or liquids.
■ Never place the device directly un-
der a wall-mounted power socket as the heat generated could damage its electrical components.
■ Always ensure that air can always enter and exit the device freely. Failure to do so may result in heat build-up in the device.

- Please take care to ensure that the mains power cable never becomes a tripping hazard or causes someone to get caught in it or step on it.
- Maintain an adequate distance from the device so that hair or clothing is not sucked into the device by the fan.

CAUTION Some parts of the device can become very hot and cause burns. Please take special care when children and vulnerable people are present.
- Child safety
WARNING! Children are usually unable to assess hazards correctly and are often vulnerable to personal injury. Please keep this in mind!
This device may only be used under adult supervision to ensure that children do not play with it.
■ Always ensure that the device is out of the reach of children.
- Be careful to ensure that the packaging film does not become a lethal trap for children. Packaging film is not a toy.
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by physically, sensory or mentally restricted persons if they are supervised or given instructions on safe use and understand the hazards involved. This device is not a toy for children to play with! Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.
■ Children under the age of 3 are to be kept away from the device unless they are continually supervised.
Children between the age of 3 and 8 are only allowed to switch the device on or off if they are supervised or given instructions on safe use and understand the hazards involved, provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position.
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 shall not plug in, regulate, clean the heater or perform user maintenance.
• Instructions for batteries

KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
Ingestion may cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue and death. Severe burns may occur within two hours after ingestion. Seek medical advice immediately.
Incorrect handling of batteries can cause fire, explosion, leakage of hazardous substances and other hazardous situations!
- Do not throw batteries into fire and do not expose them to high temperatures.
- Do not open, deform or short-circuit batteries, as chemicals contained in them may leak.
- Do not attempt to recharge batteries. Only batteries marked as "rechargeable" may be recharged. Danger of explosion!
■Check batteries regularly. Leaking chemicals can cause permanent damage to the device. Take special care when handling with damaged or leaking batteries. Danger of chemical burn! Wear protective gloves.
■ Chemicals that leak from a battery can cause skin irritation.
In the event of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of water. If chemicals have come into contact with the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water, do not rub them and consult a doctor immediately.
■ Different types of batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be used together.
■Always insert batteries with the correct polarity, otherwise they may burst.
■ Remove the batteries from the device if you are not going to use it for a long time. This does not apply if the device is intended for emergency use.
■ Do not allow children to change batteries without adult supervision.
■ Always choose the right size and type of battery for the intended use. The information provided with the device for selecting the right battery should be retained for future reference.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the equipment before installing the battery.
■ Remove used batteries immediately.
■ Do not disassemble batteries.
■ If the battery compartment does not close securely, do not use the remote control and keep it out of the reach of children.
- Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures that may affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
● Before you start the device
REMOTE CONTROL:
HOW TO INSERT OR CHANGE THE BATTERY
The remote control unit is delivered together with a lithium button cell. To enable the remote control, remove the plastic tape that protrudes from the battery compartment 6 (see Figure 1).

RELEASEPress the tab 5 on the battery compartment 6 of the remote control toward the centre. Now pull out the battery compartment 6 (see Figure 2).
■ Remove the old battery.
- Insert a new 3V-button-cell battery (type CR2025). Pay attention to the correct polarity.
■ Push the battery compartment 6 back into the remote control unit until the tab 5 snaps into place.
- Start-up
Before you insert the mains plug in the socket, check that the required mains voltage (see rating plate on the device) is the same as your mains voltage.
To supply the electric current to the device, turn the ON/OFF switch 7 to the "I" position. You can then operate the device using the control panel or remote control.

Please note:
After the fan is switched off it will continue running for 60 seconds before it shuts off (only after heating function).

A heating function on or off. When setting the temperature, please note that the appliance does not heat up if the desired temperature is the same as or below the ambient temperature. In order for it to heat up, the temperature set must be at least 1°C higher than the ambient temperature. This is displayed automatically when you switch the device on.
4 Temperature button: Press this button to set B temperatures between 15°C and 36°C.
Timer button: Press this button to set an automatic switch-off time of between 1 and 12 hours. The heating function must be activated beforehand using the heating button 3 A. After the set time, the device will shut off automatically. After it is switched off, the fan will run for 60 seconds before shutting off.
To disconnect the fan heater from the power supply, 7 set the ON/OFF switch to position "⑦".
- Tilt Protection
This device is equipped with a tilt protection. If the device is inadvertently knocked over or subjected to a strong tilt during operation, the unit switches off automatically. The unit only works in upright position.
● Maintenance and cleaning
■ CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before cleaning, always unplug the device from the mains and allow it to cool down completely.
Clean the outside of the device with a soft, slightly wet cloth. Do not use liquids under any circumstances, especially ones containing petrol, or cleaning agents, as these will damage the device.
■ Remove dust and dirt from the ventilation grilles regularly using a vacuum cleaner.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery. The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 346698_2001) available as proof of purchase.
- You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the appliance.

- You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.

The device packaging is made of environmentally-friendly materials that can be disposed of at your local recycling point. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Please note the labelling of the packaging materials during waste separation; these are marked with abbreviations and numbers which indicate the following: 1-7: Plastics/20-22: Paper and cardboard/80-98: Composite materials.

Do not dispose of the product with your regular household waste. Bring it to a municipal collection point for recycling! For information on how to dispose of an old device, contact your local authority or city council.

Batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and may not be disposed of in household waste. Every consumer is legally obliged to bring all batteries/rechargeable batteries to a collection point provided by their local authority or city council or to a shop. This obligation serves to ensure that batteries/rechargeable batteries can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Only return batteries/rechargeable batteries when they are discharged. Batteries must be removed from the device before disposal.
