How to adjust the temperature in both compartments?

Use the two buttons on the control panel. Press the button corresponding to the desired zone (upper or lower). The display switches to the programmed temperature. Press repeatedly to scroll through available temperatures. The upper zone can be set between 5°C and 10°C, the lower zone between 10°C and 18°C.

What to do if the screen flashes and shows 'Lo' or 'Hi'?

This indicates a temperature alarm: the temperature has deviated more than 3°C from the programmed value for more than one hour. Check that the door is properly closed and that ventilation is unobstructed. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

How to reverse the door opening direction?

Unplug the appliance and lay it on its back. Open the door to 90°, remove the door pivot screws, then the door. Unscrew the opening limiter screw and reinstall it on the left side. Remove the upper right hinge and install the provided left hinge. Reverse the lower hinge. Turn the door pivot 180° and reinstall it. Replace the door and screw it in. Insert the plugs.

How to clean my Vestfrost wine cellar?

Unplug the appliance. Use a soft cloth soaked in a mixture of warm water (max 65°C) and mild detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive products or sharp instruments. Regularly clean the door seal with clean water. Vacuum dust from the condenser under the appliance.

Water is flowing at the bottom of the wine cellar. What to do?

This is usually due to a clogged defrost water drain tube. Clean the defrost water gutter and the drain hole located in the back wall of the cabinet.

How to replace the LED lighting?

The lighting consists of LEDs designed to last as long as the appliance. If replacement is necessary, contact authorized after-sales service. Do not attempt to replace it yourself.

Can I built-in my WFG 45 wine cellar?

Yes, the WFG 45 model can be built into a kitchen unit or installed as a freestanding unit. Ensure that air circulates freely at the base and that the lateral space on the hinge side is at least 5 mm.

Instructions for Use (GB)

As the appliance contains a flammable refrigerant, it is essential to ensure that the refrigerant pipes are not damaged. The quantity and type of refrigerant used in your appliance are indicated on the rating plate.

Standard EN378 specifies that the room in which you install your appliance must have a volume of 1 m³ per 8 g of hydrocarbon refrigerant used in the appliance. This is to avoid the formation of flammable gas/air mixtures in the room where the appliance is located in the event of a leak in the refrigerant circuit.

Keep ventilation openings in the appliance's cabinet or in the built-in structure clear of obstruction.

Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

Before use: Technical data

Before operating your new appliance, please read the following instructions carefully as they contain important information on safety, installation, operation and maintenance. Keep the instructions for future reference. On receipt, check to ensure that the appliance has not been damaged during transport. Transport damage should be reported to the local distributor before the wine cooler is put into use.

Remove the packaging. Clean the inside of the cabinet using warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly (see cleaning instructions). Use a soft cloth. If the appliance has been laid down during transport, or if it has been stored in cold surroundings (colder than +5°C), it must stabilize in an upright position for at least one hour before being switched on.

Wiring and connections in power supply systems must comply with all applicable (local and national) electrical codes. Consult these codes for lengths and sizes prior to cabinet installation.

This device complies with relevant EU directives including Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU.

The socket should be freely accessible.

Connect the appliance only to 220/240 V / 50Hz alternating current via a correctly installed earthed socket.

The socket must be fused with a 10-13 A fuse.

If the appliance is to be operated in a non-European country, check on the rating plate whether the indicated voltage and current type correspond to the values of your mains supply.

Information regarding voltage, current or power are given on the rating plate.

The power cord may be replaced by a technician only.

The rating plate provides various technical information as well as type and serial number.

Installation and start-up

Room temperature

The climate class is stated on the rating plate (see page 15).

Note: The appliance operates best at room temperatures between 10°C and 32°C.

Placement

For safety and operational reasons, the appliance must not be installed outdoors.

The appliance should be placed on a level surface in a dry, well-ventilated room (max. 75% relative air humidity). Never place the appliance close to sources of heat such as cookers or radiators, and avoid placing it in direct sunlight.

Installation

The surface on which the appliance is to be placed must be level. Do not use a frame or similar. It is important that the appliance be absolutely level. It can be levelled by screwing the adjustable feet at the front of the appliance up or down (fig. 2). Use a spirit level to check that the appliance is absolutely level sideways.

WFG32 is only for free-standing, and sufficient free air around the appliance must be ensured. (fig. 4)

The appliances WFG45 can be installed as built-in units in kitchen elements or be placed free-standing (fig. 5).

At built-in condition ensure sufficient airflow through the kitchen base in front of the appliance.

WFG45: Along with your new cabinet is a replaceable kick plate which can be fixed with the two screws. These two screws are located in the accessories. Hingeside requires a 5 mm space.

NOTE: The kick plate should not be installed if the unit installed behind a kitchen shelf.

Operation and function

Electronic control

The electronic control ensures that the set temperatures are maintained in the cabinet compartments. This is accomplished by complex control of the refrigerating system, and the fan. Following any power failure, the temperature setting is reverted to factory defaults:

Upper compartment: 6°C

Lower compartment: 12°C

The electronic controls have the following functions:

• Temperature setting
• Temperature display, automatic defrosting, high and low temperature alarm, light on/off
• Cabinet on/off (push and hold for 3 seconds)

Temperature display

The display shows the actual temperature in the compartments. The temperature display has a built-in filter that simulates the actual temperature in the bottles. The displayed temperature is therefore not affected by transient fluctuations in air temperature.

Temperature setting

The temperature is set by using the two buttons on the control panel. By pushing a temperature button, the display changes from actual temperature to set value. By pushing the button repeatedly, the set value scrolls through the available temperature span.

The temperature in the upper compartment is adjustable from 5 - 10°C . The temperature in the lower compartment is adjustable from 10 - 18°C .

Temperature alarm

If the temperature has deviated 3°C from the chosen set value for at least 1 hour, the display flashes and Lo / actual respectively Hi / actual temperature are alternately shown.

It is recommended that wine be served at a temperature which is a couple of degrees lower than the desired drinking temperature as the wine will be warmed slightly when it is poured into the glass.

LED light

In order to reduce energy consumption, this wine cabinet will automatically switch on the LED lights after 10 minutes.

If you want the LED light to remain on continuously, this is possible. Please press and hold the "LIGHT" button for 5 seconds, the display will show "LP". After 4 seconds, the display will revert to normal and the light will remain on until manually switched on.

If you want to revert and conserve energy (recommended), please press and hold the "LIGHT" button for 5 seconds, the display will show "LF". After 4 seconds, the display will revert to normal, and the light will automatically switch on after 10 minutes.

The door can be changed from right-hinged to left-hinged and vice versa as follows:

Ensure that the cabinet is not connected to the mains and place the cabinet on its back. SUPPORT THE DOOR!

• Open the door to a 90-degree angle, take out the 2 screws (1) from the door axis (2), remove the door (4), and remove the door axis (2) (Fig. 7.1-2).
• Unscrew the screw located underneath the door frame and the limit device (3), and relocate it to the left end side of the door frame. (Fig. 7.2)
• Take out the 3 hinge screws from the top hinge (right) (7) and remove it. (Fig. 7.3)
• Remove decorative nail (8) from left top of cabinet and install spare top hinge (Left) (9) at left top of cabinet with 3 screws. (Fig. 7.3)
• Overturned the lower hinge(6). Install the lower hinge at left lower of the cabinet with 3 screws(5).(Fig. 7.4)
• The door axis(2) revolves 180 degree, Put it into the door axis hole of the door. (Fig. 7.4)
• Install and aligned the door. Screw down the 2 screws(1). (Fig. 7.4)
• Insert the plastic caps to cover the holes(8).

The door can be changed from right-hinged to left-hinged and vice versa as follows:

10. Open the door to a 90-degree angle, take out the 2 screws (2) from the lower door axis (3), remove the door (4), remove the axis plate (3) from the door (Fig. 8.1).
11. Unscrew the screw (11) located underneath the doorframe and the limit device (10), and relocate it to the left end side of the door frame (Fig. 8.1-2).
12. Take out the 3 hinge screws (6) from the top hinge (right) (5) and remove it (Fig. 8.3).
13. Remove the decorative nail (8) from the left top of the cabinet and install the spare top hinge (left) (7) at the left top of the cabinet with 3 screws (Fig. 8.4).
14. Following the above procedure, install the spare lower hinge to the left (9) (Fig. 8.5).
15. Install and align the door.
16. Insert the plastic caps to cover the holes (8).

Defrosting, cleaning, and maintenance

Automatic defrosting

The wine cooler is defrosted automatically. Defrost water runs through a pipe and is collected in a tray above the compressor where the heat generated by the compressor causes it to evaporate.

Cleaning

Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the main supply. The cabinet is best cleaned using warm water (max. 65°C) with a little mild detergent. Never use cleaning agents that scour. Use a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Never use sharp or pointed implements. Avoid unnecessary cleaning of the wooden shelves, as these are made of untreated natural material. Cleaning agents may discolor the shelves.

The sealing strip around the door must be cleaned regularly to prevent discoloration and prolong service life. Use clean water. After cleaning the sealing strip, check that it continues to provide a tight seal.

Dust collecting on the condenser underneath the cabinet, on the compressor and in the compressor compartment is best removed using a vacuum cleaner.

Replacing the lighting

Light-emitting diodes designed to last the entire service life of the appliance are used. If it, however, becomes necessary to replace the light source, please call for service.

Removing the shelves

Push the shelf all the way back and tip it. It is now possible to remove the shelf.

Fault finding

Transport damage discovered by the buyer is primarily a matter to be settled between the buyer and the distributor, i.e. the distributor must ensure that such complaints are resolved to the buyer's satisfaction.

Before calling for technical assistance, please check whether you are able to rectify the fault yourself. (see the fault-finding list) If your request for assistance is unwarranted, e.g. if the appliance has failed as a result of a blown fuse or incorrect operation, you will be charged the costs incurred by your call for technical assistance.
