Product use, maintenance, cleaning and installation: for your safety, please read through all the sections in these instructions and pay attention to the corresponding pictograms.
- This appliance is intended for domestic household use only. It is not intended to be used in the following applications, and the guarantee will not apply for:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance or use it as a toy.
- Accessible surface temperatures can be high when the appliance is operating.
- Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from the inside and the outside of the appliance.
- Fully unwind the power cord.
- Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with the power rating and voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance.
- Any connection error may cause irreversible damage and will invalidate your guarantee.
- Given the diverse standards in effect, if the appliance is used in a country other than that in which it is purchased, have it checked by an Approved Service Centre.
- Always plug the appliance into a socket outlet with an earth connection.
- If it is necessary to use an extension lead ensure that it is of suitable construction and power rating, with an earth connection; take all necessary precautions to prevent anyone tripping over an extension cord.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any danger.
- The power supply cord should be regularly examined for signs of damage, and if the cord is damaged, the appliance must not be used.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
- Never immerse the cable or control box in water or any other liquid.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- The mobile connector plug must be removed before cleaning the device, and the connector must be dried well before the device is used again.
- You must only use the appropriate mobile plug or mobile connector plug.

DO
- Read the instructions carefully, common to different versions depending on the accessories supplied with your appliance, and keep them within reach.
- If the appliance is used in the centre of the table, keep it out of the reach of children.
- Make sure the device is placed in a stable position before using it.
- If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immediately with cold water and call a doctor if necessary.
- Cooking fumes may be dangerous for animals which have a particularly sensitive respiratory system, such as birds. We advise bird owners to keep them away from the cooking area.
- Always use a wooden or plastic spatula to avoid damaging the cooking plate.
- In order to avoid deterioration of the plate, use it only as it was designed to be used (for example, do not place it in an oven or on a stove, whether it be gas or electric).
- Use only the plate provided with the device or a plate bought at an authorized Service Centre.
- Before first use, wash the plate (see paragraph After Use), pour a small amount of oil on it and dry with a soft cloth.
- Be careful where you place the electric power cord, whether you use an extension or not. Take all the necessary precautions in order not to hinder people from moving around the table, so that nobody gets tangled or trips over the cord.
Do not
- Never leave the appliance unattended when plugged in or in use.
- To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or against a wall.
- Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth, varnished furniture, etc.) or on a soft surface such as a tea-towel.
- Never place the appliance on or near hot or slippery surfaces; never leave the cord hanging over a heat source (hotplates, gas stove, etc.).
- Do not place cooking utensils on the cooking surfaces of the appliance.
- Never use a knife directly over the plate.
- Do not place the plate on a fragile surface or under water when it is hot.
- Do not move the appliance when in use.
- Do not use aluminium foil or other objects between the plate and the food being cooked.

Do not cook food in aluminium foil.

To avoid spoiling your product, do not use flambé recipes in connection with it at any time.
- Do not use metal scourers or scouring powders to avoid damaging the cooking surface.
- Do not remove the grease collector tray during cooking.
- If the grease collector tray gets filled during cooking, let the contents cool before emptying it.

Advice / information
- For your safety, this appliance conforms to all applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Food Compliant Materials, Environment, ...).
- On first use, there may be a slight odour and a little smoke.
- Do not consume foodstuff that comes into contact with the parts marked with ✗ logo.
- If the mobile connector plug is incorrectly positioned, the safety system will prevent the appliance from working.
- The device will be ready for use once it is preheated.
Using
- Set the thermostat of the mobile connector plug to mini.
- Plug the portable connector into the appliance’s resistor pins, pushing the plug all the way in until it stops against the base, and then plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- The red LED will light up to indicate that the appliance is on. The red LED will stay on as long as the appliance is plugged in - 3.
- Set the thermostat of the mobile connector plug to maxi - 4. Boost function:

When the Booster function is activated, the temperature and power are higher in the Booster area.
- Using the Boost function: Preheat the appliance for 5-8 minutes on the maximum setting - 5.
- Without using the Boost function: Preheat the appliance for 8-11 minutes on the maximum setting - 5.
- Thermo-Spot: when warm, the Thermo-Spot™ logo on the left of the plate turns a uniform red - 6.
- Fix the thermostat according to the heat level you wish - 8.
•Cook according to taste.
- If the grease collector tray gets filled during cooking, flow will be under the product from the back of the collector tray.
After use

- Unplug the mobile connector plug from the main11.
- Leave it to cool down mini 2H before cleaning - 12.
- Unplug the mobile connector from the appliance - 13.
- Clean the plate and the body of the device with a sponge, hot water and a dishwashing agent - 15.
The plate, the plastic base and the collector tray can go in the automatic dishwasher - 14.
The mobile connector plug and the cord can not go in the dishwasher - 16.
