Ensure before use that the available mains voltage is the same as the voltage required for operating the lamp (230–240 V∼). Always unplug the light from the mains prior to assembly, disassembly, cleaning or if the light will not be used for extended periods. Never open any of the components of the elec- trical equipment or insert any objects into the same components. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock. Lights develop a lot of heat around the lamp head. Replace defective lamps with new ones imme- diately. Always remove the mains plug from the socket before replacing the bulb. Do not cover the light or the mains plug with objects. Fire can result from the excessive heat development. Do not operate the lamp unattended. Do not leave the light or packaging material ly- ing unattended. Plastic film/bags, plastic parts etc. are dangerous for children to play with. ATTENTION! Do not look into the LED from a close distance during operation. Do not look at the LED with an optical instru- ment (e.g. magnifier). This light is not suitable for dimmer or electronic switches.
