IMPORTANT WARNINGS

- Check voltage to be sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate of Arzum Ehlikeyf Samovar corresponds with your voltage. Our company shall not be liable for any malfunction that may occur in the event of any discrepancy, therefore any malfunction resulting from discrepancy is out of warranty.

.* This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

- Stuff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

- Farmhouses,

- By clients in hotels, motels and residential type environments;

-Bed and breakfast type environments.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

Keep this appliance and cable out of reach of children below 8 years of age.

This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children should not play with the

appliance.

- It is not harmful to use the appliance of 2000 meters or more.

- Plug your appliance to a grounded socket. Do not use extension cords that supply improper current in order to prevent damage to your appliance.

- Do not place the appliance over or near direct heat sources such as stove, heating oven etc.

- Ensure that the appliance is placed on a firm and flat surface. Do not put it on the edge of a table or countertop. Even a small impact may fall down your appliance. Remember your appliance could be filled with hot water.

- Do not let cord hang over edge of table orcountertop or to contact other appliances.

- Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your appliance. Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the filter coffee maker, hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.

- Never interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and maintenance. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as falling down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Call immediately an Arzum Authorized Service. Use only original spare parts in your appliance.

- The exterior surface of your appliance gets hot during use, so avoid touching the areas of your appliance other than the handle and on/off button.

- Please, unplug from outlet your appliance when your appliance not in use. Make sure the appliance is sufficiently cooled before cleaning and maintenance.

- Avoid contact with steam to be ejected from spout when the water is boiling, and do not let children to use the appliance.

- The on/off button MUST be in off position when there is no water in the kettle section or when the appliance is not in use.

IMPORTANT: After the water boils, your samovar will automatically

switch to keeping hot position and thus will save energy. When you fill with water again, it will automatically start to boil the water again and when the water is boiled, it will automatically switch back to keeping hot mode. If you want to turn off your appliance completely, turn off

your appliance by pressing the on/off button.

• If your appliance is left switched on accidentally when it is empty or when there is not enough water in it, the safe shutdown unit will automatically cut off the energy. In such a case, wait until it completely cools down before filling your appliance with water. You must unplug the mains cable and plug it again to operate.
• Make sure that the water you fill in the kettle unit does not exceed the maximum water level.

WARNING: You can only boil water in the kettle unit. NEVER use any other liquids or solution.

• While the on / off button of your appliance is on, the teapot MUST be put above the kettle unit. Otherwise, your appliance will delay the pass to the energy saving position, even when the water is boiling.
• NEVER immerse the kettle (container) of the appliance in water or other liquids, nor wash in a dishwasher, nor use in bathroom or any other places with a high rate of moisture.
  • Take care not to get your appliance's cord and electrical connectors wet and never leave it wet. If it is wet, do not plug it to the socket and do not operate your appliance.
• Use your appliance as recommended and fit for the purpose.
• Instructions on cleaning the appliances normally after use and not immersing them for cleaning indicate that the appliance should not be immersed in water.
• Use your appliance according to its intended use as recommended.

- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or similar qualified personnel in order to avoid danger.

WARNING: NEVER switch your appliance on when there is no water in the kettle (container) or the water level is below the minimum level.

IMPORTANT:

• Unlike other samovars, it is sufficient to operate your appliance with a single button. Your appliance automatically switches to boiling or keeping hot depending on the temperature of the water in it.
• Your appliance will automatically switch to keeping hot position by boiling in a short time. In keeping hot position, your appliance will work at minimum energy level and will save 90% energy.
• Since the heating is minimum while kept in boiling condition, the existing water can wait ready for a long time before it evaporates.

USING YOUR SAMOVAR

- Before first use, rinse your kettle with cold water several times, then fill to MAX water level and boil the water until your appliance turns off automatically. Pour this boiled water and rinse it with cold water. After repeating this process 2-3 times, leave your appliance to cool down. The water should be maximum level when doing this. Wash and rinse the upper teapot and tea filter with warm soapy water.

- Fill the kettle (container) of your appliance with water according to the amount of water you want by considering the max water level.

- Fill the kettle unit of your appliance with water between the tap level and the maximum level mark, depending on the amount of tea you want to brew. If you attempt boiling the water under the minimum level, it will cause your appliance to shut off earlier and if you attempt boiling the water above the maximum level, it will cause water to overflow.

- Open the teapot lid and remove the tea filter and add sufficient amount of tea in the filter and add some cold water and then replace it on the

teapot and close the teapot lid.

- After putting the intermediate lid on the kettle (container), place the teapot you prepared on the intermediate lid.

- Plug the cable of your appliance to the socket. - Start your appliance by pressing the on / off button. The warning light will turn red to indicate that the heating process has started. During the

heating process, the warning light will be red.

- When boiling process is completed, a "beep" sound will be heard 5 times and your appliance will automatically switch

to keeping hot position and will save energy. When your appliance switches to keeping hot position and the warning light will turn to blue.

• To make the brewing process easily, remove the drip cap. Fill your teapot with water suitable for the amount of tea you want to brew from the tap of the samovar and place it again.

- Place the drip cap on its specially designed area to prevent it from moving. Thanks to the drip cap, the water flowing from the tap or overflowing from the glass is prevented from pouring onto the counter.

- If the water level has dropped below the minimum level, water will not flow from the tap. In this case, you can add water in your kettle. Your kettle will automatically switch to boiling water position upon detecting that the water is cooling down.

- When you do not want to operate your appliance, you can turn off your appliance by pressing the on / off switch.

NOTE: When you take the teapot to fill tea pull and take off its base from the settled surface. Thus, the drops that accumulate on the base will pour into the kettle.

WATER HEATING

- You can also use your Arzum Ehlikeyf Samover for water heating and boiling when necessary.

- To do this, fill the kettle reservoir with water between the maximum and minimum levels, as in tea preparation. Place the empty teapot on the top lid and start your appliance by pressing the on/off

• Your appliance will switch to energy saving after boiling the water in a short time. If your kettle is left running in this way, your hot water will always be ready.
• Even if you add cold water, it will automatically switch to the boiling position and boil the water in a short time and will save energy by switching to the keeping hot position.
• When you do not want to operate your appliance, you can turn off your appliance by pressing the on / off switch.

SECURITY SYSTEM

• When the water boils, your appliance automatically switches to energy saving (keeping hot) position.
• Operation Protection without water: Your appliance is protected with two thermostats for your security. If you operate the appliance without water, your appliance will switch off automatically. In this case, you must unplug the mains cable from the socket and plug it again to operate.
• If you leave your appliance unused for 8 hours in operation, your appliance will automatically shut down. In this case, you must unplug the

mains cable from the socket and plug it again to operate.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- MAKE SURE to read the important warnings section before cleaning your appliance.

- BEFORE CLEANING, ALWAYS TURN THE APPLIANCE OFF USING START/PAUSE BUTTON, UNPLUG IT AND LET IT COOL OFF COMPLETELY.

- You can hand-wash the teapot and tea filter of your samovar or wash them in the dishwasher.

• Take the teapot and intermediate lid to drain the water in the kettle unit.

• Unplug the mains cable from the socket. Carefully empty your samovar from the tap by holding the handle. Clean the outside of your samover using a dry or moist cloth. NEVER wash the appliance by means of immersing it into water or wash in the dishwasher.
• Do not clean any of the appliance accessories with harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, hydrochloric acid, etc.) except the cleaners used for this type of appliance.
• NEVER get your appliance's cord and plug wet. If it gets wet, pull the plug out of the socket and dry the cable and plug well.

CALCIFICATION REMOVAL

- It is important to clean the calcification in the kettle periodically in terms of hygiene and energy efficiency.

- After each use of your appliance, draining the remaining water and using water containing less mineral instead of hard water will reduce the calcification.

- The lime in the water that accumulates on the heating base of the appliance creates a brown layer in time and reduces the efficiency of your kettle.

- Soft calcification on the base can be easily cleaned with a brush. (Do not forget to unplug before doing this operation.)

- You can clean the residual solid lime using lime removers available in the market or vinegar.

- Add the lime remover in the water after boiling some water in the appliance to clean using a lime remover. After a couple of minutes, operate your kettle for 2-3 more minutes and empty it and wash it with fresh water for 2-3 times.

- For cleaning with vinegar; fill the appliance with half a liter of white vinegar, wait for 1 hour, empty the vinegar after that and wash the appliance in fresh water for 2-3 times.

• During handling and shipment, your appliance must be kept in original package in order to prevent damages to its parts.
• Keep at normal position during shipment.
• Do not drop the product when transporting and protect from impacts.
  • After delivery of the product, failures and damages that may occur while transporting are not covered by warranty.

The product is in compliance with the AEEE Directives.
