How do I descale the Arzum AR3023 kettle?

Fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1) or use a descaling agent. Boil, let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

Yes, it features a 360° cordless base for easy lifting and pouring.

Opening Package and First Use:

Before first use, take the machine and accessories out of the box, check for damage and malfunctions. If there are any damage or malfunctions, do not use the machine and apply to Arzum Authorized Service.

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS

- Check voltage to be sure that the voltage indicated on the name plate of Arzum Çaycı Heptaze Technical Specifications corresponds with your voltage. Our company shall not be liable for any malfunction that may occur in the event of any discrepancy, therefore any malfunction resulting from discrepancy is out of warranty.

- Arzum Çaycı Heptaze should only be operated by plugging into a grounded electrical socket connected in accordance with the regulations. Do not use extension cords that supply improper current in order to prevent damage to your machine.

- This appliance is designed to use for home, stuff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, customer rooms in hotel, motel and the other accommodation places.

The appliance is not suitable for professional use. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.

- This appliance should be used by people who are informed, supervised and instructed to use this appliance in a safe manner and understood the risks. This product shouldn't be used by persons with physical (visual, aural) or mental disabilities, children and persons with inadequate experience and knowledge without the supervision of someone responsible for their safety. Keep the children under supervision when the product is used and make sure that children doesn't play with the product.

than 8 years.

• Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your appliance. Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the Tea Machine, hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.
• Never interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and maintenance. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as falling down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Call immediately an Arzum Authorized Service. Use original spare parts in your appliance.
  · Always hold your appliance by its handle. Its outer surface may be hot.
• Please, unplug from outlet your appliance when your appliancenot in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool down before cleaning the appliance.
• Use your Arzum Tea Machine with its own power base unit only. Do not place it on units belonging to any other appliance.
• Avoid contact with steam to be ejected from spout when the water is boiling, and do not let children to use the appliance.
• A steel teapot or lid MUST be placed on the kettle appliance, when the boiling switch of your Arzum Tea Machine is on. Otherwise, your appliance will delay the pass to the energy saving position, even when

the water is boiling.

- NEVER immerse the kettle and power base unit in water or other liquids, nor wash in a dishwasher, nor use in bathroom or any other places with a high rate of moisture.

When filling with water remove the appliance from its power base unit.

- NEVER put anything into the kettle other than water.

- Never leave the power base unit and electrical connection ends of your appliance in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no not operate your appliance before having it dried completely.

Warning: Do not lift the body cover while water is boiling.

Warning: Position the pot handle away from the steam outlet.

Warning: Cut the power to the device before lifting it from its base.

Warning: Use the device only with the power base delivered with the device.

USING THE APPLIANCE

- Wipe off the main body of the appliance before first use. Wash inside your Arzum Tea Machine by means of putting water in it at MAX level before the first use. Boil water for two or three times in the kettle and change the water every time. Discharge the hot water before every boiling and wash inside your appliance with cold water.

- When you take the teapot to fill tea pull and take off its base from the settled surface. Thus, the drops that accumulate on the base will pour into the kettle.

- Put water always between the levels min (0.8 lt) or max (1.8 lt) in your kettle.

- If you attempt boiling the water under the minimum level, it will cause your appliance to shut off earlier and if you attempt boiling the water above the maximum level, it will cause water to overflow.

- Open the steel teapot lid and remove the tea filter and add sufficient amount of tea in the filter and add some cold water and then replace it on the teapot.

- Open by taking the main switch to "I" and the boiling switch to position. The red pilot light will be on and the water will start heating.

- When water is boiled, boiling switch will automatically switch off and decrease heating power.

- Brew tea using boiled water and replace the pot. Add water in the kettle if required. Turn boiling switch on if you add water.

ÇAYCI HEPTAZE MOVABLE FILTER USE INSTRUCTIONS

1- Remove the handle of movable filter from the fixing slot on pot handle and pull it to vertical position and remove the pot lid with the filter.

2- In order to add tea into stainless steel filter, turn the upper and lower lids in reverse directions, add as much tea as you like and turn again in the other direction.

3- Add as much water in your kettle as you like.

4- Place pot on the container, boil it and wait for it to switch to heating mode. (If you do not close the kettle lid, water will continuously boil and it will not switch to the warm mode.)

5- First open the pot lid and place the filter with the tea in.

6- Then pour as much water as you want on tea in the pot.

7- Replace the pot lid by inserting the handle of the filter in the slot on the lid.

8- At the end of the desired brewing period, pull the movable filter arm up and lock it to pot handle when reached to end.

9- You can just place the lid and use it when you do not want to use the filter.

10- You need to turn the kettle on to boil when you want to add water.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE

• Shut down the main switch (i/o) of your appliance and take to the "O" position, disconnect the plug from the outlet and wait for your appliance to cool down before cleaning.
• You can wash the steel teapot and filter of your Arzum Tea Maker in hand. NEVER wash the other parts by means of plunging them into water or in the dishwasher.
• Discharge the water in your kettle and wipe its external surface with a dry or damp cloth.
• Do not clean any of the appliance accessories with harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, hydrochloric acid, etc.)

REMOVING CALCIFICATION

• Lime inside the water used in time may pile up inside the cooking pot and thus may reduce the performance of your appliance.
• You can clean your appliance's cooking pot with a decalcifying product specific to electrical kitchen appliances or you may try environmental friendly solutions such as white vinegar.
• To clean the cooking container with white vinegar; fill white vinegar in your appliance enough to cover the base and wait for 1 hour, and after that, empty the vinegar and wash your appliance with clean water for 2-3 times.

SECURITY SYSTEM

• When water boils, the device will automatically switch to high-efficiency keep-warm mode.
• Operation Protection without water: If your appliance operates without water, thermostat activates and disconnects energy of your device and switches off your machine. In such a case, remove the appliance plug from the wall outlet and allow your appliance to cool completely.
• Do not forget to place the lid or pot on the kettle when boiling water in the kettle. Otherwise, water will continuously boil and will not switch to the warm mode.
• When locking movable filter to the handle, make sure the filter handle is locked starting from the slot provided for it.
• Thermostats will be activated when operating without water and the

appliance will be deactivated for a short time. Appliance will start again when it is cooled or when water is added.

• During handling and shipment, your appliance must be kept in original package in order to prevent damages to its parts.
• Keep at normal position during shipment.
• Do not drop the product when transporting and protect from impacts.
  • After delivery of the product, failures and damages that may occur while transporting are not covered by warranty.
