1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

4. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified

persons in order to avoid a hazard.

6. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which come in contact with food or oil, please refer to the

paragraph “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” of the manual.

7. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

8. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the

specifications on the rating label.

9. Always plug the appliance into an earthed plug socket.

10. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,

offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

11. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

12. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

1. Remove all packaging. The appliance is closed and locked by the securing latch on the side of the unit. Turn the

securing latch to unlock the appliance.

2. Wipe the surfaces and non-stick grill plates with a soft damp cloth, and then dry them.

DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT AND DO NOT RUN WATER DIRECTLY ON THE COOKING SURFACES.

3. Unwind the mains cable completely.

Note: When your grill is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal and harmless.

1. For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cooking spray.

2. Close the grill and plug it into the power socket.

3. Rotate the thermostat knob to your desired setting. At first, try a setting in the Max position. You may adjust it

lower or higher according to your preference.

4. The appliance will start preheating and the indicator light will illuminate.

5. It will take approximately 3-4 minutes to finish preheating, then the indicator light will turn off.

6. Open the grill and put the prepared ingredients on the bottom cooking plate. Close up the grill. The indicator

light will turn on again.

7. During cooking, the indicator light will turn on to indicate the grill is heating and turn off to indicate the set

temperature has been reached.- 4 -

8. The cooking will take about 3-8 minutes depending on different food. Check if the food is golden brown. Adjust

the cooking time to suit the individual taste.

9. When cooking is finished, use the handle to open the lid. Remove food by using a wooden or plastic spatula to

protect the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.

10. Disconnect the plug from the outlet after use and leave the appliance open to cool.

⚫ Place the grill on a clean flat surface where you intend to cook. The grill can be positioned in flat position. ⚫ To make the upper plate be leveled with the bottom plate, push and hold the hinge release button with one hand, and make the upper plate rest flat with the other hand. The appliance will stay in this position until you lift the handle and cover to return it to the closed position. ⚫ Use the grill as an open grill to cook burgers, steak, poultry (we do not recommend cooking bone-in chicken, since it does not cook evenly on an open grill), fish and vegetables. ⚫ In the open position, you have double the surface area for grill. You have the option of cooking different types of foods on separates without combining their flavors, or cooking large amounts of the same type of food. The open position also accommodates different cuts of meat with varying thicknesses, allowing you to cook each piece to your like.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Always unplug the appliance after use. Allow it to cool down before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when

slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble the appliance for cleaning.

2. Clean the housing with a soft damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.

3. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove the food residue. For baked food residue squeeze some

warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue and then clean with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet kitchen paper over the surface to moisten the food residue.

4. Remove and empty the oil drip tray. Wash it in warm soapy water. Avoid the use of scouring pads or harsh

detergents as they may damage the surface. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth and replace.

5. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.

Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
