USER MANUAL 303124 Brandson
- Read the manual completely before using the product!
- Before using the fan heater, check whether the voltage indicated on the rang plate matches that of your mains supply!
- Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself!
- Never block the fan in the device. This could damage the device or re- sult in a re or electric shock!
- Never block the air inlet of the fan heater!
- Disconnect the plug from the power source if the device is not being used! Do not leave the fan heater unaend- ed!
- This device emits a lot of heat during operaon. Therefore, touch only the15English operang controls. In case of doubt, use heat-resistant gloves.
- Keep ammable materials such as pillows, paper, clothing, curtains or other highly ammable objects away from the fan heater!
- This device is intended for personal use only!
- Please note! The fan heater is not suitable to be used in conned areas if they are occupied by persons who are not able to leave the room or the vehicle by themselves.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision!
- This device can be operated by chil- dren from 8 years of age and above, as well as by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacies or who lack knowledge or experi-16 English ence, if they have been supervised or instructed regarding safe use of the device, and understand the resultant dangers.
- Children should not play with the device!
- CAUTION! Some parts of the prod- uct may become very hot and cause burns. Be very careful if children or frail persons are present.
- Never immerse it in water for clean- ing. Wipe the body with a dry cloth.
- Place the device at least 30 cm from other objects.
- Use this device only on a at surface.
- Disconnect the product from the mains when not in use or during cleaning.

- Children younger than 3 years should be kept away from it, unless they are under constant supervision.

- Children between 3 and 8 years should not insert the plug into the socket, should not regulate the device, should not clean the device and/or carry out user maintenance.

Please read the following user manual carefully so as to be able to get the most from the product you have purchased. Before using the delivered product, check that it is complete, faultless and un- damaged.
The Brandson fan heater is a praccal and cost-eecve alternave compared to a convenonal heater. Warm up the desired area using the fan heater so that low temperatures become a thing of the past. Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Place the fan heater on a level, at surface so that the lt protecon at the boom is not actuated. Put the switch on the rear of the device in "OFF" (0) posion and connect the device to a 220-240V AC mains socket. You can then set the on/o switch to "ON" posion (1). 422 English To start the device, press the " " buon on the control panel or on the remote control. The fan heater now starts to emit cold air. Press the " " and the " " buon to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the temperature. The heater will start heang if the set temperature is higher than the room tempera- ture. The symbol " " is displayed. The fan heater has 2 heat sengs. Heat seng 2 is enabled if two " " symbols are displayed. You can also manually congure if you want to enable heat seng 2 or heat seng
1. To do this, press the " " symbol on the control panel.
Use a CR2025 3V baery for the remote control. All the funcons that can be performed using the remote control have the same funcon as those on the control panel of the fan.
To turn the oscillaon on or o, press the " " buon on the control panel at the top of the fan or on the remote control.
You can enable the mer funcon by pressing the " " buon. The currently congured mer stage is displayed. You can select between 0 to 8 hours.
Thanks to the lt protecon at the boom of the device, it switches o automat- ically if the device lts over. The fan heater can therefore be placed on even and at surfaces only.
WARNING: To avoid overheang, the heater should not be covered.
Overheang generally occurs only if one of the openings of the fan heater is covered, blocked or clogged. This device has overheang protecon. The heater switches o automacally once the overheang temperature is reached. If the device is therefore turned o for this reason, disconnect the plug and wait for 30 minutes. You can then aempt to turn on the device once again. If this does not happen, please contact the customer service department.23English Aer you have switched o the device, the fan connues to run during cooling phase unl it switches o.
11. Cleaning and maintenance:
Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. Use a dry, so cloth. Ensure that you do not touch the heater elements when cleaning! You have to open the ap at the back to clean or replace the dust lter. Remove the dust lter, clean it and put the lter back.
12. Safety instrucons and liability disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not cered for use in the open air; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the de- vice to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibraon as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe naonal regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instrucons. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteraon to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instrucons. The device specicaons may change without any separate prior noce to this eect.24 English
13. Disposal instrucons
Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Direcve and not with household rubbish. 14. Instrucons on the disposal of baeries
