Intended use

This item has been developed for private use. It is suitable for use as a toy by one child (3 - 6 years, height: 96 - 120cm) with a maximum user weight of 50kg.

This item is not a vehicle in terms of the Road Traffic Act and may not participate in public road traffic. Inform yourself about the statutory regulations before using the item.

Safety information

Risk of injury!

• Caution! Not suitable for children under 36 months. Risk of suffocation and choking due to small parts that can be swallowed or inhaled.
• Warning. Protective equipment should be worn. Not to be used in traffic. 50kg max.
• Check the item for damage or wear before each use.

Check that all connectors and fasteners are tight before each use. Make sure that the nuts and bolts are retaining their self-locking properties.

• Only use the item if it is in perfect condition. If a fault is detected in the item, it must not be used again until the fault has been rectified!
• Bolts must always be tightened so firmly that children cannot loosen them. Otherwise there is a danger that children could swallow or inhale small parts that have been unscrewed. Risk of suffocation!

• Dangers ensue from improper modifications or repairs to the item! Do not modify the item!
- Do not link the item to other vehicles, sport equipment or other towing devices. The item is not designed for higher speeds.
- The child must always be supervised by an adult when using the item!
- The child must always wear a helmet and solid footwear when cycling! In addition we recommend suitable protective gear.

• The item may not be used in the dark or when there is poor visibility!
• The item may not be used on sloping ground, or in the vicinity of stairs or open water! Avoid danger areas!

Safety instructions for use

• Keep in mind that children often cannot correctly assess their own abilities and certain dangerous situations! Unforeseeable situations can arise due to children's play needs, for which the liability of the distributor/manufacturer is excluded.
• Teach the child how to handle the item properly and alert them to possible dangers!
• The child must be confident that they are always in control of slowing down and braking the item.
  Practice slowing down and braking with the feet as well as with the brake before using the item.
• There is a danger of slipping on slick surfaces! Bear in mind that there is always the danger of a fall when the item is being used.

Assembly

CAUTION!

Assembly of the item must always be carried out by an adult!

CAUTION!

Keep children away from the item and the packaging materials during assembly. Risk of suffocation and choking due to small parts that can be swallowed or inhaled and risk of suffocation due to plastic bags.

1. Mounting the mudguard

Attach the mudguard (11) to the fork (14), from below, with screw (12) and washer (13) (Fig. B).

Make sure that the curved washer is inserted with a positive-locking fit.

2. Mounting the frame

2a) Put the T-connector (15) onto the fork (Fig. D).

Make sure that the deepened notch is facing the longer side of the mudguard.

2b) Put the frame (5) onto the fork (Fig. E).

Make sure that the notch is put into the guide provided.

When mounting the fork to the frame, make sure that the longer part of the mudguard is under the frame and is facing the rear wheel.

3. Mounting the basket

Put the basket (17) onto the fork (Fig. F).

4. Mounting the handlebars

4a) Put the clamp (16) onto the fork (Fig. G). Make sure that the notch on the clamp fits into the guide at the basket.

4b) Put a cap (4) on the handlebar tube (Fig. I).
4c) Put the handlebar tube into the fork (Fig. K).
4d) Make sure that the brake Bowden cable is correctly routed to the handlebars (Fig. H).
4e) Guide the Bowden cable under the frame from left to right. Put the rubber plug into the opening provided on the lower side of the frame.
4f) Guide the Bowden cable under the basket before putting the handlebars into the fork.

Take note of the maximum extension height marked!

Tighten the nut on the clamp with the tool (20) and slide the cap over the clamp.

5. Mounting the saddle

5a) Put a cap on the saddle with the saddle tube (3) (Fig. J).
5b) Put the saddle tube into the slot on the frame (Fig. L).

Take note of the maximum extension height marked!

5c) Tighten the nut with the tool, to secure the saddle and then push the cap over the nut.

6. Mounting the front wheel

6a) Press the two spaces (8) into the rim of the front wheel (9).
6b) Attach the front wheel (9) to the fork with 2 washers (7) and the axle bolt (6) (Fig. C).
6c) Secure the axle bolt (6) with the appropriate nut (10).

Make sure that the nut is tightly screwed to the axle bolt.

7. Attaching handlebar protection

Mount the impact protection (1) to the handlebars by the Velcro fasteners (Fig. M).

8. Sticker sets

Stick the sticker set 1 or set 2 (19) on the positions specified (Fig. N).

Settings

Handlebar height

Observe the maximum extension height!

Push up the cap.

Loosen the clamp until the handlebars can be pushed up and down and then set the handlebars to the appropriate height.

Tighten the clamp again and then push the cap over the clamp (Fig. O).

Saddle height

Note:

The saddle height is set correctly if the child can reach the ground securely with their feet.

Observe the maximum extension height!

Push up the cap. Loosen the nut until the saddle can be pushed up or down. Set the saddle to the appropriate height, retighten the nut and push the cap down again (Fig. P).

Brake

Bowden cable

Make sure that the brake Bowden cable is correctly routed to the handlebars (Fig. H).

Brake lever

The distance from the grip to the brake lever must not exceed 60mm. Adjust the distance of the brake lever (18) to the grip by adjusting the stop screw (Fig. Q).

Braking force CAUTION!

The braking force must be set in such a way that the rear wheel spins freely when the brake lever is released and jams when the brake lever is tightened.

Press the brake arm (S1) in the direction of the arrow. Turn the adjuster and the lock nut (S2) to the left to reduce the braking force, and turn the adjuster and lock nut to the right to increase the braking force (Fig. R).

Storage, cleaning

Always store the product in clean and dry condition at room temperature.

Only use water to clean and wipe it dry with cleaning cloth.

IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with aggressive cleaning agents.

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.
